Was not super impressed with this place, sadly. My mom brought me here to get a mani for Christmas, and she got her nextgen removed. The lady that did my nails was friendly enough, but she rushed, which resulted in a sloppy manicure. She spent maybe 30 min total on my nails. They're way too thick, the nails are not the same length and shape, and there's black residue on some of the nails. This easily could have been a perfectly good manicure with just a little extra time and care. read more

As someone who has been coming here for about 8 years, I feel like it is fair to say that the quality and experience has decreased over time. I am not someone who is picky about my nails but I do expect to be asked how long I want them and what shape before the technician starts to work on my nails. I left the salon maybe 10 minutes ago with gel along the sides of my fingers, under my nails had not been cleaned and not a single nail is the same length as others. Very clean and nicely decorated!! Has a spa feel and is comfortable. They offer an assortment of drinks, including wine. Serenity has a lot of employees, so the wait is not all that long. They are not like other places that will seat you in a pedicure chair full of water so that you're trapped and have to stay (seriously HATE that). They work quickly to get to you without an appointment! Although, I would advise making an appointment. There is not a lot of parking spaces close to the door. Be prepared to park in the bank, grocery store, or across the street lots to find parking at busy times. Not a big deal, but worth noting. If you are a teacher, show your badge and you get 15% off the total :) read more

I just moved to the area from south Louisiana and was nervous to try somewhere new because I loved my nail salon in Louisiana. However, I loved my mani/pedi at Serenity! I chose the citrus mani/pedi combo and couldn't be happier! The massages were amazing and my nails look fantastic! I love that there are curtains to divide each client and the overall look and feel of this nail salon is beautiful and relaxing...top notch! I also enjoyed a couple of mimosas while here, so request that or wine if you want an adult beverage . On top of all of this, I was impressed with the cleanliness of the salon, I noticed multiple people cleaning as I was getting my mani/pedi done. My pedi was done by Jo and mani by Ken and they both did a wonderful job, I will be requesting them for sure! I went on a Thursday afternoon and was in and out in about an hour-1/2. I have started seeing Tim for just a few months now; and he has been doing a phenomenal job on my nails.

I hate that I'm posting this review because I used to recommend serenity to everyone. The past couple of times I have gone, I was highly disappointed. Yesterday, I went in for a mani pedi. They used collagen gloves which did leave my skin so soft. The lady who did my toes cut my heel and tried to blame it on a blister--my feet weren't hurting until I left. She also kept cutting my toenails--way to short. The manicure wass great until today when it chipped off of one finger. Then, the polish literally fell off of two nails--see attached picture. I don't have time to go back to get it fixed because I have an infant who I do not want to be around those fumes. Now, I have to waste time doing my nails when she is napping. Another thing was that the ladies were talking to themselves in their native language and ignoring me after they asked me a question. When other staff left, one lady did have a conversation with me. One good note is the massage. I was happy with that. I'm extremely disappointed and will not be back or recommend them Edit--3 nails have now fallen off and more have chipped in less than 24 hours read more

Most of the time I make an appointment but today dropped in & was taken care of right away, even on a busy Saturday before Easter. Found a gem & have had great experiences thus far! Poor customer service. The lady doing my pedicure was very aggressive and rude. Was upset because I didn't want gel on my toes and stormed off and never came back. Not sure why it affected her day that I didn't want gel on my nails. So if you down for a painful $60 pedicure this is the place to be! When I walked into the salon, I thought "oh, how peaceful". I went in for a fill/pedi. I brought my mom (who had a wonderful experience) I'll start with the good. The prices seemed lower than surrounding salons. My pedicure was awesome (Christine), altho the options seemed limited. They clearly looked like they had steady regulars. As for my fill. The guy, who never introduced himself, was not pleased to have to do my nails. I was getting a pink/color fill. my length was long and nails lifting and asked for a cut down (3x total). he started filing them down, and was huffin and puffin and fidgety. He told me he didn't have time to do a new set and would try to fix them. (REALLY??) I had glued my index nail extensively and asked that he clip that down. He did not. He said that I had glued it enough. I just let him do his work -- over 2 hours for a fill. When i got ready to pay, I was charged extra for the color and gel overlay (which I was aware) however, not that i was charged extra because my nails were long! In addition, they didn't have the same pink powder that my nails were originally done with. - i am so disappointed in this nail service. That was Saturday. Today (Thurs) I have a lifted index finger in need of repair, horrible shape and visible lines of demarcation.. i would never recommend this place for nails. I should have been advised that they don't have my powder, the cost for length and a manicurist that was actually interested in providing the service. read more

The worst manicure and pedicure I ever got in my entire life. The lady buffed my finger nails down so much she made them paper thin!!! I have always had healthy nails and now they hurt so bad n tear up at every instance :(( she was in so much hurry the entire manicure hardly took her 10 minutes!!! I got my nails done about 3 weeks ago and it was the best place to get my nails done! I got Christmas coffin nails ! I posted a picture ! It was nexgen and it was absolutely amazing ! The lady was so nice and did everything right . The price was fantastic! $53 , now thats a really good deal ! I got nexgen done at another place and it was $95 ! I have been a total of four times so far. You may need to go several times before you find the right person for you. All the employees are super nice except for the lady at the front desk. She never smiles, she's barely polite, and if she charges you extra for a service you did not get, well, be prepared for her to grunt in your face. This area is saturated with nail salons. How did I not find this place earlier? This salon is wonderful and the techs that did my mani-pedi were very fast and professional. They were nice to me and my daughter, and we look smashing. Bye-bye ugly nails, and time to increase my budget for personal care! They know how to make you feel wonderful! I have been a customer for several months and have spent A LOT of money here. Today, I decided to look at my receipt and noticed they charge 5$ to take off any gel or acrylics. I would be fine if that if that was the reason I came in. BUT they are charging an additional 5$ ON TOP of the fill or new set. Why on earth wouldn't that be included since they have to take them off to put on the new set or new gel? So today I got gauged 15$ extra! Sad to say I will NOT be going back.
