    Lousy $7.99 portion of fries
    Melissa M.

Well the food is decent, but the portions are incredibly small and overpriced. The meat on the cheesesteak is maybe 1.5-2 ounces. The fries can speak for themselves in this picture. $7.99 for that amount of fries. Absolutely diabolical.

Great Burgers, and the Staff is always friendly. We haven't tried the sandwiches but the pizza is solid as well.

So yum!! Great atmosphere and music!! I got the "from hell" focaccia sandwich and it was amazing!! Our cashier was so sweet and helpful, 10/10 recommend

In almost three years, I thought it was time to try this location again. Because of the theme, I argue that there is not better time to come than during the month of October. This was a vast improvement since the previous visit. The place was clean and the staff were friendly. My son and I shared the Jaws pizza (Chicken Bacon Ranch) which is a new offering. It was great. The ricotta cheese and the boneless chicken wings for ingredients really paired well. My wife had the Devil's Reject salad. This is a huge salad! Everything was flavorful. For beer aficionados, there is a wide range of offerings.

Gooood burger! Got a double patty with grilled onions tomatoes and lettuce. Simple burger) The only complaint is not enough grilled onions on it ( and their grilled onions are so tasty) Service is friendly and fast. I especially like the ambiance. Very chill place with a bunch of TVs. Will go back to try their pizza!

This place is one of my go to's when my parents come into town and want a burger. Conveniently located off Houghton on the east side, it's nice to have a good burger place nearby. They have plenty of indoor seating. I've had their burgers and they're great. I recently ordered their buffalo chicken sandwich and it was awesome. Service is always fast and friendly. You order at the front and they bring you the food. I'll have to try their pizza next! I love that their menu items are all names after horror movie characters.

Love Love Serial Grillers!! This location is one of the two we love the most. Every food on their menu is delicious. Definitely a must try on all of them! Favorite food are Honey Garlic Wings and Psycho Cheesesteak. All location have amazing staff and the restaurants are always a vibe. Their pizza- best in town hands down. None of the Pizza Hut or Dominos talk. We're talking about local driven pizza style deliciousness!

Bone-in wings, despite request for boneless
    Craig W.

This was a major miss with a couple of hits. The spouse did an order to go, at this location and clearly incompetence appeared on the part of staff. She ordered boneless wings and upon home arrival it was bone-in. I know the terms sound so close, thus the less and in are near each other in the alphabet. The Michael Vegetarian burger is simply disgusting. I never understand why people put corn in a black bean burger. Nobody wants corn with black beans, especially in a burger. Anyway the burger was just yuck. The spouse who is not flexitarian tasted it and the quote was "If you could taste B.O., this is it." The flarity v2 which the spouse had was a winner. And the amount of ranch they gave without charging extra was nice. So in the end, salad a winner, incompetence was a loser - the wings though had a nice flavor, not real meaty though; and the burger, well, B.O.

Great selection on the menu, prompt service. Both the server that helped us out on the front porch and the bartender were very friendly. We also started with their wings, which beat those found at some of the wings places in the area. Good beer selection on tap. Eat outside if can; there's a great view of the Rincons. It was pretty busy when we arrived and they only had one waitress and the bartender. The bartender, Felicia, jumped in to help the other waitress. The Tuna Tataki was very tasty and quite a lot for one order. The chicken solo was very tasty also. We had to order the smoked salmon sashimi due to being out of the plain salmon, but it was still delish. The Japanese bagel roll aka Philly roll tasted much better than last time. It tasted freshly made as opposed to the last visit. We really enjoyed our cocktails which were refreshing and yummy. This was a much more enjoyable meal and we were impressed with the service and the food. Great job to all involved, especially our server, Felicia, and we will definitely be back again. They have some really cool displays and I love the idea of actual mechanics working on actual hot rods in the garages below. Being a Sunday, no one was down there working but still an awesome idea. The food was average. I had a French dip which was good but not memorable. The menu says it is served with a creamy horseradish sauce however I detected absolutely no horseradish flavor. For my side I did the sweet potato puffs and I was shocked how tiny they were and that the portion was so small. Flavor was just whatever. My guy had a Philly cheesesteak and again, good but not memorable. His side was the mac & cheese. The cheese sauce was really good - tasted of green chiles - but the mac was swimming in it, really not enough macaroni. We had the funnel cake fries for dessert. Flavor was just ok. Dusted with powdered sugar and served with sides of honey, chocolate sauce and more powdered sugar. I'm not sure funnel cake works as fries. They were a little crispy and tough, not fluffy and crispy like a funnel cake. Unfortunately Hot Rods doesn't have a cocktail menu and when I asked if they had any fun drinks, I was told the bartender can make anything I want. I think if they had a cocktail menu with a few fun offerings sitting on the tables, more people would be interested in having something from the bar. Our server was sweet and did a great job. It was her first day and I have high compliments for her. The girl up front who greeted us was pleasant enough but she really didn't know much about the cars or racing memorabilia on display. When asked about the roped off upstairs lounge, she told us it was owned by a local pinball company and they use it for their pinball events. I'm not sure if Hot Rods gets busy but it looks like it could be a great community hangout for folks out that way.

I was pleasantly surprised that they're just as good as I remember from 10+ years ago. The cheese is flavorful and has a great stretch, and the crust is just so crispy and thin! Really delicious. The lunch special is very good, too. $8 for a massive cheese slice and a drink is a deal hard to come by in this economy, and it can easily feed 2 people. I opted to add pepperoni for an extra $1.50. Still a good deal. I also would not skip on the ranch if you're a fan of the good homemade kind. I can tell it is made in-house and it's so creamy and garlicky. Service was quick and polite. I also notice that they always offer fresh brewed ice tea and some kind of specialty water - this time they had a watermelon infused water that was great. I love when I'm offered fresh-made drink options besides your usual fountain drinks. I've often seen discourse about where the best pizza in Tucson is online, and I rarely see AZ Pizza Company mentioned. I personally think they're very high on the list and deserve more recognition.
