To be honest with y'all, I really didn't care for the buffet here. I've been here on All-You-Can-Eat Lobster nights too. That is, not until I came for their breakfast. Don't forget to show them your player's card for discounts. I like their chilaquiles verdes, potatoes with chorizo, and fried chicken with waffles. The usual scramble eggs, sausages, and slices of bacons are readily available under the heat lamps. They can make you an omelette or crack an egg on order. Plenty of fresh whole fruits available. You want pastries, yogurt, oatmeal, or cereal? They got them here. Yes, they carry sugar-free syrup for all you diabetics and dieters. I only wished they carried cholula hot sauce like they do upstairs at George Lopez's Chignon Restaurant. I'm not a fan of Tabasco sauce. I would say about 8 out of 10 times I received excellent service. Reasons why I love Serrano: - everyone is SO NICE!!!! seriously, every person who works here is so nice!! One of the worst experiences we have had at ANY food establishment in my life! The hostess Genesis was so mean and rude to EVERY group she checked in. We left after waiting 20 mins, with a reservation. The group in front of us mentioned that she was disrespectful and was making fun of their last name (the pronunciation of it). Totally NOT recommended. There are six of us. We dine here on the lobster night. The cost for six of us is $370 plus tip. Lobsters are not fresh. For those that know what fresh lobster taste like wouldn't eat here. There are two lobster dishes served. The whole lobster, and the lobster tail. The tail is decent. I've run my own business for 21 years, I would never treat a customer like that. At 54.95 per person for a buffet, we really expected a lot more. They had prim rib, which was ok, but below what you would get in a non-buffet style restaurant. It was hard to time when they would have rare/medium pieces available. Most were well-done, with zero or almost zero red. They also had crab legs, which were small and cold, even though these were in the hot area (not on ice). Crab legs of that size are hardly worth it, since it's the same labor, with half the meat. There was NO lobster, that is on different nights, for an additional $10. The Asian area's sushi section had only rolls, and only one style, at that. It also had a sesame/orange chicken, that had a strange flavor, way below what you would get in even a mediocre Asian restaurant. The breaded shrimp were pretty good, no complaints there. The cold shrimp cocktail (these were with the heads still on, I have no problem with that) were extremely overcooked, to where it where the texture was "powdery", for lack of a better term. I managed to eat one, but had to stop halfway through the second one, the rest ended up in the bucket, REALLY disappointing, as I thought I could make up for the other areas that were lacking by eating a ton of cold shrimp with cocktail sauce. The chopped pineapple was cut but then somehow mushed? Desserts were ok. I prefer my cheesecake to be the firmer style, that is what you typically get in restaurants, this is the typical buffet softer style, like it is almost firm pudding, but the flavor was ok. The server..Nancy.., was cold and brisk to us, in addition to slamming a tray onto the table next to us, in addition to banging things at other times, which was startling. We were always very pleasant with her, and know that a server's job is not easy. If this buffet had cost the two of us 50.00, maybe even 60.00, I would not be writing this review. But $109.90 for two people for the buffet we attended last night is just outrageous. I have been to my share of buffets, and was in a traveling band the specialized in playing at casinos. If they insist on these prices, then their game really needs to be stepped up, both in food quality, food options, as well as service. The casino itself is VERY nice. I have not seen an oyster at Serrano Buffet for a minute. The lights went out on Tuesday 2/14/2023 from 4:15pm to 9pm. They finally opened up Yaamava at Midnight. Patrons were given return vouchers for food and no one could cash out at over 7000 slot machines and they told everyone to come back another day to claim their money. If they had oysters on Tuesday I could not see them. Wink wink. read more

The cashiers were rude. No eye contact or thank you. Just kind of robotic. The people who sat and served us were super nice though. The lobster tails were spicy for some reason. Cracking open the lobsters took a lot of work but they were ok. Kind of fishy but used butter to fix it. The dessert (the cookies and cream gelato ) were the best part. The cappuccino was delicious. Okay. For the price of 45.00 dollars a person for weekend brunch....this food better be bang'in. I should have toured the buffet line before committing. What a joke. Hardly any choices. What they do offer is school cafeteria quality. So gross. Asian food was the worst. Worst "cheesecake" I've ever tasted, although some desserts were pretty decent. Nothing tasted good here but the semi-decent pizza. Waste of money. This place really has the audacity to charge what they do. It's a buzzy, all-you-can-eat buffet with plentiful seating providing a wide range of international eats. We came here 3/4 times to eat the lunch buffet. The variety of food to choose from was delicious. Italian, American, Mexican, and Asian food tasted great. The desert items could have been better. The ice cream was good. The buffet was priced fairly (with Player's Card discount) considering the quality of the food and total experience and the overall customer service was okay. My wife had two free buffet tickets so why not ? The normal price is 39.99. If you have a special occasion I'd recommend going. Tell them it's your birthday and they'll sing a funny song. Now you need to make reservations which we did the day before ( a Monday) but we needed to change them which my wife did in their app- was very simple. You can't just walk up to the buffet and go in without a reservation but they have have a poster next to the entrance with a QR code to easily make a reservation. You probably can get in within 30 minutes unless it's very crowded. It was crowded when we went at 4:30 but there was no line outside to get in. The buffet is beautifully decorated and surprisingly not that noisy even though it was crowded. The tables have white table cloths and a cloth napkin although the table server will give you paper napkins. The help are pleasant with a smile. The food seems fresh and they have an enormous selection. I put a little bit of everything on my plate to try. I wouldn't recommend the talapia- not very flavorful. The Mexican fajita meat was tough but had good flavor. The pork ribs were excellent. They have a large selection of desserts of which I choose 3 plus a small ice cream cone to go. The ice cream was very creamy but they didn't have chocolate, Mayb another day. Try it out if you're in the area. read more
