The staff is friendly and will provide great attendance and service for your table. The food menu provides a good variety of American delights, and the portions are adequate. We are a group of 3 girls that get together for breakfast and casino every few months. We arrived about 9am on Thursday 9/14/23 and we were told it was about a 15 minute wait. When we were texted we walked over and the hostess was in the middle of a conversation with another employee. We tried to say you just called us but she quickly advised she would be with us in a minute with a scowl. It was clear that her personal conversation was far more important. After a few minutes another hostess walked up and she took us to be seated. We were told that our waitress would be with us shortly. We looked at the menu. Decided what we wanted and still no waitress. Another group of 4 that was seated after us was already speaking to their waitress. We were feeling a little upset thinking it was our waitress but it wasn't. Our waitress finally walked over and asked to take our drink order. We let her know that we were ready to order our meals. She took our order and went to the back. We saw the table of guests that arrived after us get all their drinks. After about 10 minutes a worker was walking by and my friend asked them if she could just get the coffee she had ordered and they said they would check. Another 5 minutes and a different worker walked past and she asked if he was a manager. He said he was not but did we want to speak to a manager and she said yes. As he walked to the back our waitress finally came out with our drinks and an attitude. She said do you want to see my manager I'll get her and my friend said we just wanted to get our drinks and she said I can get my manager it's no problem (with a lot of nastiness) and so she said yes get her. We spoke to the manager and she said she would expedite our order. We ended up having a terrible time. The manager had another person serve us and she was wonderful but by then the fun of our get together had been dampened and the other waitress was still serving the tables around us and definitely giving us an attitude. It was a terrible experience from beginning to end and I wish we would have just walked out but we were hopeful that it would improve. We have been to many casino cafes and this experience was the worst we have ever had. This is an expensive cafe and with that our expectation is good food and good service. I was extremely dissatisfied. The service is such an important part of a meal when you go to a restaurant and it impacts the way you feel and the enjoyment of your meal and this was just bad. If you want to enjoy a nice breakfast at a casino cafe I would recommend Soboba!! Good food and great service every time we have gone. read more

People are paying 500-1000 a night to stay at Yaamava Hotel and this is what you offer them. And I love when you make a reservation, stay at hotel and the first thing the woman in green says to me - we have no bags or boxes so you can't order take out or take any leftovers home. Worst steak ever! Not everyone likes horseradish on their steak but this comes already with it. I tried to give my dog the leftovers and even he barked at it in disgust. So this steak is not even fit for a dog who literally eats from trash, so that tells you, the steak is not even trash worthy! Anyone who puts horseradish on steak deserves a horsewhipping! Soooo... I'm done... three out of three meals were inedible. The lemon curd pancakes just to big, gluttonous, lost out on quality cook and flavor for big awful pancakes. Dainty with a perfect cook (not doughy, wet) would have been my preference. Burger, no onions, no garlic with cheddar cheese. Brings me something else. Probably someone else's order and that person had a white cheese and tasted of aioli... I'm allergic to garlic and told them so ahead of ordering. I asked for a recook. The server and then the chef said I would get exactly the same thing... really? Send me one piece of cheddar cheese please... it was yellow/orange color... the burger was slimed in a white cheese and some white sauce... epic fail for customer service people... Well now it's strike three... make it very clear I am concerned about ordering food that doesn't have garlic. It's difficult to choose when a new menu comes out. Order a simple chicken sandwich with fruit. #1 disgusting thing to serve me is unripe fruit?!?!? What is the point? I'd rather not eat. But to really knock it into the garbage dump definitely add garlic to the food the person who was worried about ordering something with garlic because it makes the violently ill with symptoms similar to intestinal flu... unbelievable. I think I'm done going to this place. They were nice to try and give me something else but now since all I want to do is vomit there are very few solutions. Trip cut short on my way home. The eggs benedict was $16 and now $23 That's a huge increase almost 50% more the same for their club sandwich which was $16 only 6 months ago and now as of November 1st. $23, I recommend eating at home the wait time and the food quality is not worth the price. My second time at Yaamava and I just had a delicious club sandwich from the cafe at at yaamava. Food is delicious and very clean atmosphere. The most important part that I wanted to write about was the service I had from the server Tammy. She was so nice and very attentive not only to me but all her tables. During our conversation she mentioned she was a navy vet and that she loved working at yaamava. You can tell when you get a great worker because they love what they do.
