I wanted to share our wonderful experience with AutoZilla at the Kalakaua Avenue location…read more From the moment my mom and I walked in, Jay greeted us with a warm welcome and thanked us for trusting him with such an important decision. My mom has dementia, although Jay wasn't aware of that. Even so, he took the time to explain everything thoroughly, patiently walking us through every step of the process and making sure we understood everything. What could have been a stressful experience turned out to be smooth, comfortable, and completely pressure-free. Jay gave us a fair and honest offer, and we truly appreciated his professionalism, kindness, and genuine care throughout the entire process. I would highly recommend Jay and his team to anyone looking to sell their vehicle. The office was also very clean and welcoming, and they even offered us hot or cold beverages while we waited. Thank you, Jay, for making this such a positive experience!

Title: Disappointed - Vehicle Issues Within 30 Days…read more I purchased a Mercedes from this dealership less than 30 days ago and have driven it under 600 miles since purchase. The vehicle has 58,000 miles and was sold to me "as-is." Shortly after purchasing the car, I began experiencing significant vibration during cold starts when the vehicle is placed in gear while stopped. This is not something I would expect from a properly inspected luxury vehicle at this mileage. What concerns me most is the lack of response. I have reached out multiple times to address the issue, but I have not received any reply. Even for an "as-is" vehicle, customers should expect transparency, basic roadworthiness, and communication when problems arise shortly after purchase. I am simply asking for accountability and a response. I will update this review if the dealership chooses to resolve the issue professionally.

After looking at several cars on Facebook Marketplace, my biggest concerns were the vehicle history…read moreand whether the asking prices were fair. Before visiting Lucky Owl, I went to another dealership where I found a car at a great price and took it for a test drive. Unfortunately, the salesperson was evasive when answering questions and only informed us after the test drive that the vehicle had a rebuilt title. I was concerned about potential insurance issues and the vehicle's future resale value, so I decided to keep looking. My significant other had previously purchased a car from Lucky Owl and worked with Alex, so we decided to check them out. We had already found three vehicles online that we were interested in, and after letting Alex know, all three were ready for us to view and test drive when we arrived. From start to finish, the experience was excellent. Alex was friendly, honest, and never made us feel pressured. Once we decided on a vehicle and completed the paperwork, the process was quick and incredibly easy. I am so grateful that I was able to purchase my car from Lucky Owl. This is the second vehicle our family has bought from them, and both experiences have been outstanding. Alex's kindness, professionalism, and commitment to making the buying process smooth and stress-free are why we keep coming back. I highly recommend Lucky Owl to anyone looking for a quality vehicle and a hassle-free car-buying experience.

READ BEFORE YOU BUY: My experience at Lucky Owl Auto Sales…read more This was hands down the worst car buying experience I have ever had. From start to finish, the process was unorganized, unprofessional, and incredibly frustrating. Here is a breakdown of why you should take your business elsewhere: * Extreme Unprofessionalism: My salesman, Alex, was distracted throughout our deal, constantly taking personal calls and texting friends while working with me. Later, he told me I could text or call anytime, but whenever I sent a text, he would get angry and snap at me to call instead. * Blaming the Customer for Their Mistakes: After my test drive, I parked exactly where instructed. Another employee backed up and hit two cars, including mine. Instead of apologizing, they blamed me for "parking wrong." Later, they forgot to sign the backend of my financing check, causing the bank to deny it. When I called to resolve it, they immediately blamed me for filling it out wrong and demanded a new check only to realize later that they had failed to endorse it. No apology was ever given. * Registration and Inspection Negligence: They sold me a vehicle with an expired registration and safety inspection without disclosing it. I had to personally drive the car to an inspection station on a separate day just to get the paperwork moving. * Title and Communication Nightmare: Getting the title signed took weeks. Whenever I called for an update, the staff became hostile. I had to drive back to the dealership three separate times just to sign the title because they either misjudged the delivery date or the only person authorized to open the mail wasn't in. * Immediate Mechanical Issues: Just three days after purchase, the check engine light came on. When I called Alex with the code from a local auto parts store, he dismissed it, claiming their "more expensive machines" were the only trustworthy ones (the codes matched exactly). To their credit, they did fix the issue and gave me a loaner car, but the attitude was completely unnecessary. It took over a month of constant babysitting just to get my vehicle legal and the paperwork finalized. I am incredibly relieved to finally be done dealing with Lucky Owl Auto Sales. Save yourself the headache and go somewhere else.

This review is for if you're selling your car. Hands down,…read morebest place to go for selling your vehicle. I went around the island everywhere and this was the most fair and negotiable place I've found. The dealership is gonna give you way less than you would want, I promise you that. If you've got a really great vehicle with ceramic coating and other things under warranty, you could walk away with a check either same day or the next day. The paperwork is smooth and takes less than 10 minutes (must be crazy right)? I was just as shocked, I promise. For assessing your vehicle, they get in, drive it around the block, go inside and get you a number based on the CarFax. It's that fast. If you're looking to buy here - HONESTLY some of the reviews look rough but keep in mind you're buying a used car and used cars come with some baggage. Do your research and ask for car maintenance records. My experience is based on selling my car only. So hopefully this helps you! They have a parking lot in the back and it is almost always tight, so just give them a call and a Sales Rep will come right out. Good luck!

I've seen too many people get taken advantage of, so I did my homework on the specific car I wanted. I saw an ad for Aloha Auto Depot (808-599-9360). Since I didn't have a vehicle at the time, I did a lot of research online and checked Kelly Blue Book. Their price was very competitive compared to other small dealers and even larger ones like Tony Nissan. I wanted to work out the numbers first, and I decided that if we could agree on a price, I'd go in for a test drive and ask more questions. I found the car I liked at Aloha Auto Depot on a Sunday. Usually, business hours are shorter on Sundays, and they were closing at 4:30 PM. By the time I found a ride and arrived, it was already 4:00 PM, but I was greeted with a big smile by the salesman. He was very friendly; usually, when you show up that late, dealers ask you to come back tomorrow. However, since I had done most of the work beforehand, everything went smoothly. The showroom is beautiful! The location is the old Volkswagen dealership, but they've renovated it and it looks very nice. They even offer free coffee, water, and chocolates for customers. I had been communicating with one of the managers, Eddy, but when I arrived, Chris helped me. He is very easy to talk to and was willing to help me even though he ended up staying an hour and a half past closing time. I was very pleased with his service. I have worked in customer service for over 24 years, so my expectations are very high, but Chris nailed it. If you want a salesman who isn't pushy and is truly willing to help, look for Chris. They initially asked if I could pick up the car the next day so they could detail it, but I really needed the car that day. They asked me to come back later, but then the detailer got sick. I couldn't come back the next day, and that's when Steve stepped in. While he was helping me set up the car's app and my profile, he overheard the conversation. He put a crew together and detailed the car right then so I wouldn't have to make an extra trip. That is truly going above and beyond. If you want this kind of service, come see them. Steve helped me out so much. Thank you, and blessings! To the owner of Aloha Auto Depot you are very lucky to have this kind of staff. They need to update their address..
