I have never been so irritated in my life! The dealership advertises IN HOUSE FINANCING and I found a vehicle I liked that was priced $8800. I have a trade in with only 55,800 miles fully loaded. Submitted an application and called the dealership. The guy that answered the phone says he has to talk to the owner and the car I'm looking at isn't for in house financing. Because I really need a 4 passenger vehicle now I said okay what about this other vehicle. The other car has 99,800 miles, almost 100,000 miles already, but I'm still willing to purchase it because it's clean like my car. Guy text me back the next day (today) telling me " Yes sorry for replying back late. Would you be able to put some cash down besides the trade in?" I replied back no! My car is valued at $2000-$2500 as a trade in. The car I'm trying to buy now is $5850. They wanted my car that's fully paid for AND cash....my car has almost half the miles as the one I'm getting. Then when I call the guy I'm texting he said my car is hard to sell that nobody wants them. Another lie! My car is ALL OVER this island. Everyone loves these cars because they are so easy to park and great on gas. In the end I agree with these other 1 star reviews. Go elsewhere! These people waste your time and from what the guy said he has to call or text the owner on every sale so why is the dealership even open if you can't make the deal? Why are you there alone? Makes no sense! Just another prime example of the crappy customer service you get from businesses on this island! read more

It'a sad to see a low rating on here, because they definitely deserve 5 stars. I had a great experience with Prime Auto and the owner Jaxson, who was amazing. After a couple of bad experiences at bigger dealerships, I took a chance and went here since they had the car I wanted (2016 Subaru Forester) at a good price with less than 100k miles on it. When I went to look at the car, I was able to take it for an extended test drive, which I appreciated, and I also got a very reasonable offer for my trade in. The car was in great shape overall, and Jaxson was transparent and provided me with detailed information about its recent repairs/maintenance and age of tires. He had no problems with me having it looked at/inspected prior to purchase, which made me feel much more comfortable. After I decided I wanted to buy it, Jaxson was helpful and patient while I figured out financing over the course of a long weekend- and was even able to get me a better rate. After purchasing the car, the battery died, which was stressful, but Jaxson made it right. He met me first thing the next morning and replaced it. I had a great experience buying from Prime Auto Buying Center. I picked up a three-year-old truck with under 20k miles, and the price was easy to negotiate. I got a really good deal--other places were selling similar trucks with much higher mileage for more than what I paid out the door. I worked with Tony, and he was excellent--friendly, straightforward, and no pressure at all. That was a big change from other lots I've visited. For example, at Cutter Ford Aiea, the salesman actually took my license before a test drive and then didn't want to give it back when I said I wasn't interested. I had to threaten to call the cops before they handed it over. And at another place, they flat-out refused to negotiate. Compared to that, Tony made the process smooth, honest, and stress-free. One thing to note: you do need to schedule car viewings since the vehicles are stored offsite, but it was easy to set up. I also got my title in about a month, which seems to be standard. All in all, I couldn't be happier with my purchase and experience.
