One advice to everyone, don't come here. Most of the cars sold in this used car shop have problems. For your safety, you may want to go to another shop. When I bought the car, the owner of this store concealed the fault of the car, and he was very fierce when I talked to him. And he would make personal attacks during the conversation. The air conditioner broke down the next day after I bought it. The brakes also made strange noises, the suspension shook, and the steering wheel shook when accelerating to 90 miles. I dealt mostly with the Owner, Dailey, but also with other staff. All were helpful. My car came with new tires and battery and I won't need to put money into it for some time. if I could give them a zero star I would. I bought a car here 6 months ago and not even 3 months the AC Went out. not to mention little later the tire sensor and airbag went off. I went to a mechanic to check it out and all the tire sensor are dead as well as the clock spring. All Tire sensors need to be replaced and clock spring which controls airbag radio control and horn. Fixing cost 1200 just for sensor and clock spring I still haven't fixed the ac. I am trying to get my safety done and they found a crack on my radiator which is about another grand!!!! I had a good experience with Excellent Motor Group. Although I didn't end up buying a car through them, I appreciate their honesty and integrity. I had been looking at a Lexus IS250- went to Excellent Motor Group and took it for a test drive. It was beautiful- but I saw a hiccup in the carfax that I pulled and the carfax that they had. Obviously I was sketched out and skeptical so I asked if a mechanic could inspect it. He was more than happy to take it to a mechanic for me without hesitation. Unfortunately, that's when we found out the car had previously been totaled. According to the dealers, they didn't know this. They paid for the inspection at the mechanics shop and took the vehicle off market. Call me gullible, but I don't think they knew it was a bad car. I really don't care if they did or didn't- it was the fact that they called me right after to explain what the mechanic had found, how sorry they were and that they paid for the inspection ($100) and was taking the car off market. I truthfully appreciated that honesty because if they wanted to, they could've left me with the payment, no car, and left the car up online for an inexperienced buyer to pick up without inspecting it- but they didn't! This is an outstanding used car dealership. I just cannot say enough good things about them! I have owned many cars and have dealt with many dealerships, but the owner of Excellent Motor Group is by far the very best person I have ever purchased from. He is the most knowledgeable, has the most integrity and honesty, works unbelievably hard, and is the most kind used auto dealer I have ever seen. This is what he did for me: I went down to buy a Ram Promaster cargo van. He worked very hard for me, making calls for about 3 hours to find a lender for me, but my credit wasn't good enough to qualify for the loan. So he showed me a Ford Transit cargo van he had on the lot which was a little older. I still couldn't qualify, so he dropped the price so I could qualify for the loan. Then I tried to pay the down payment with my debit card but couldn't pay the whole amount because of the limit on my card. I called my bank on the mainland to increase the limit, but it still didn't work. Then because of the time difference, my bank closed for the day and I couldn't call back. Then he let me use his computer to login to my insurance carrier's website, but I had trouble getting the lienholder's name and address to show on the insurance binder, so he sat down with me and helped me very patiently to solve the issue and get the insurance binder and my insurance cards and documents printed out. Then he drove me all the way across town to the lender's office, introduced me to the lender and explained the process, then waited for me while I set up my account and got my documents. Then even after the exhausting day, and even with my down payment only partially paid, he graciously let me to pay the remainder the next day, and he even drove me all the way back across town to my apartment. The next day he picked me up at my workplace and drove me to his lot, where I was able to finally pay the remainder of my down payment. He had already finished all of the documents and paperwork, and had also gone down to the dmv to do the temp registration. He also had done the safety and emission inspection, had the oil changed, and filled up the gas tank. Then after he had done all of this for me, he offered to hold the van at his lot until I could find a monthly parking place for it near my apartment. Then the next day after I found a monthly parking spot, I noticed that my name was slightly misspelled on a few of the documents. So I went down to his lot and he got all of the documents corrected very quickly, even while he was in the process of working with another customer. He had the keys ready plus a spare key, and the van was ready for me to drive home. And he did all of this over three days in the rain while major street work was being done right next to his lot. Wow! I recommend this dealer very very highly. I have never seen anyone so knowledgeable, so hard working, so honest and patient as him. The week I was at his lot, he sold 4 cars to customers who had purchased from him over 15 years ago, and now I understand why. When you find a dealer this good, you go back decade after decade. BUYER BEWARE. The owner of this shop is dishonest and I'll never do business with him again. He sells cars and trucks with deep issues. We made the huge mistake of purchasing 2 trucks from him a few years ago and have had NOTHING but issues. From the day we bought both trucks, nothing but issues. Transmission issues, wheel issues, what a nightmare. They were supposedly certified and checked but when we asked about it, the owner was like "bought as is". One of the trucks had a flat tire and they changed it and put two temporaries on it but their "mechanic" messed up the wheel stanchion. My father and son were driving the truck and almost crashed. When we brought it to the owner's attention, he refused to do anything. He kept the other two tires and refused to correct the error HIS employee created. I decided to cut my losses and asked to give back the two temp tires and to get my two tires with the fancy rims back and he said no that I had to pay him for those tires that he only had because he put temps on while we had a flat. I didn't want to pay for it so the conversation ended there. THEN my husband followed up with him to try to get it resolved and the OWNER told him that after talking to me he decided to just leave them out and they got taken. I had ZERO notice that he left it out (he was likely lying), and then he proceeded to swear at my husband who is one of the nicest and calmest guys. He was just trying to help me resolve this issue. The guy hung up and turned his phone off, but not after telling my husband to F-off. It is rare for me to leave a 1 star review in all my years on Yelp. This is the most disgusting and abhorrent customer service experience of my life. NEVER buy from them. You're not buying quality cars, you're buying a car riddled with issues from an owner with zero integrity. Bought a jeep wrangler from this dealership. We were wary because of previous bad reviews, so we paid to have it evaluated by a mechanic shop nearby that they recommend. The mechanic (A1) assured us the jeep was in great shape and they fixed a few small problems. After driving the jeep only about 100 miles, it nearly killed me. Total loss of control and severe shuddering. A weld to a component in the suspension was needed to fix the problem as it had snapped in half. Alfred, our salesperson, told us the dealership was not willing to reimburse that expense. Now with less than 200 miles on it, the jeep won't start due to the transmission being too loose so that it can find a neutral position. In short, we feel like we got scammed by both the dealership and the mechanic. While we were aware that we were buying a used vehicles that may have some issues, we expected it to at least be in decent working shape as was promised by the dealership and mechanic. read more

Shoppers BEWARE! Here's WHY... **They used Carfax report and that report didn't show that the truck was turned in as STRUCTURAL DAMAGE! We found out when we took it to a reputable car dealership they used a more comprehensible report that showed the Structural Damage! I referred a close family member who needed a vehicle. The salesman was a longtime friend whom we trusted. Salesman had a list of vehicles that he said were in good condition, test drove some and performed normal inspections and ended up purchasing a Nissan Frontier truck. Although it was kind of pricey the outside of the vehicle was in good condition with low miles. Within a couple of weeks the truck started giving us problems so we took the vehicle back to the dealership for muffler and vibration problems. The problems still persisted after repeated visits to the dealership. Who ever they outsourced to repair the muffler problems did not do a good and or a thorough job. Unsatisfied with the quality of work we decided to take it to a friend's shop to see what's really going on. They lifted up the truck and saw that the frame, undercarriage and headers pipes were all rusted. A whole bunch of rust fell to the ground. It was really bad! Our friend did not want to touch the truck at all. He said if we didn't take care of it in time it could FAIL! We decided to go back to Excellent Auto for the 3rd or maybe 4th time. Their mechanic suggested to take it to Nissan instead. The Nissan technician wrote up a repair order and his findings. See list below: 1. Brakes shimmy's, squeaking, pedals pulsating when breaking = front & rear brakes are excessively rusted. Cost to replace $829.49 2. Vehicle vibrates more in gear and with AC on = Idle low, throttle plate dirty and carbon buildup. Cost to clean and relearn idle $140.00 3. Lower half of air filter air box is missing = held together with a tie strap. Cost $261.00 Cost of technician inspection $293.19 (salesman told me that I was responsible to at least pay for the inspection but I said that since they took the vehicle in they should pay for it and they did. Replaced a rusted part). What a nightmare to see all these added COSTLY REPAIRS! More importantly the technician was very CONCERNED about all the rust, especially on the FRAME and other areas under the vehicle. Main concern is that In time driving it could be dangerous. I understand we live in Hawaii and the salt air but this truck was beyond the normal rust problem. I have a 10 yr old car and the frame/undercarriage is in great condition. I asked the salesman "Do you check your vehicles?" He said "No, we just check the oil and change tires if we have to." Also, they buy their vehicles from an auction lot. I was shocked to hear him tell me that Nissan trucks has the most problems. I told him if you knew that why didn't you say anything at that time and why did you sell it to us? After expressing concerns for the vehicle and stated that he sold us a lemon. We asked for help us out to either take the truck back and or trade in for another vehicle. They denied our request because the amount of the loan was too high and I would have to put a BIG down payment. I couldn't understand why we couldn't trade another vehicle for the same price. Salesman suggested that we turn in the truck to Nissan and buy a new one but we would have to put a BIG down payment. After some research I saw that we could've bought a newer truck for the same price and better condition. All in all nothing was disclosed to us. I have to stress that before buying a used car put it under a microscope. Bring a mechanic. Test drive it more than just around the block, take it far as you can. You may never know what may arise after you drive it for a bit. ***After 1 Year the Truck engine started to breakdown. As my son was drIving home the bottom caught on fire, wheels locked. Luckily he managed to put out the flames!!!!! Truck is now JUNKED!!!!! What a terrible experience. We still owe 10k on it. read more

He defrauded me of a small (fortunately) amount of money for some very high quality auto detailing work. His English communication at first seems passable, until you realize it's a sham to manipulate whatever verbal terms you agree upon, to misinterpret them in his very imaginative favor. I have my car for almost a month now. The salesman and owner, Daily was patient, kind and understanding of my budget. He provided me with several options within my means and other cars options above my limit, for me to compare. After several days, I decided to settle with the purchase of my first car [2007 Toyota Camry]. ****NTS, not every used car will be perfect. There will be little kinks here and there that require my attention. To add to that, it's nothing that Daily and his 20+ years of experience can't fix or refer you to to get fixed. If your car is under warranty like mine, he'll take care of the bill or order the part and replace it for you. It varies on the situation. For instance, my alternator. It was very loud. I let Daily know and brought it to the dealership after work for him to check out the very same day. We agreed that I was to bring my car back the next day to replace the alternator. To my surprise, he asked me if I was okay with him picking up my car at lunch time. I said sure okay because honestly, it'll save me time. He drove to my work place, picked up my car and left me with a loaner to use. When it came time to pick up my baby, she was all done and clean. She no longer roared. 0 star!! People should NEVER EVER consider buying a car from this dealership! First of all, their cars are overly-priced and to prove that is to check Kelley Blue Book or Edmunds TMV. Second, bad customer service! None of them knows what they're talking about and most of them don't even know how to speak English. They will say anything just to get money off your pocket. All they care about is money! Third, their cars have WAY TOO MANY engine and other issues! I know because I experienced buying a car from this dealership. I just recently bought a used car from them not knowing that it is 2,000+ above Kelley Blue Book. My dad did a test drive on the car and thought it had no issues. We, then proceeded by signing papers and transferring the title under our names. I had also gave them $1,000 down payment. I took it home on that same day and realized that the airbag sign was lighting up, pedal brake completely loose, odd vibration at 20 mph and broken lock. I returned it the next day because they agreed to fix these issues. After almost two weeks of waiting, they called to say that the car was fixed. But after driving it for a day, odd vibration was still there and the check engine sign was lighting up this time. I returned it back to them once more. When I took it back, odd vibration was still there and check engine sure was gone but came back on when the car over-heated after driving about 3 miles. It took two hours of waiting for their towing truck to get to us. Again, they agreed to fix the car and I reminded them to check the odd vibration as well. They called the next day to say that it was just low on coolant. I picked up the car and it over-heated once again! So I gave the car back to them, told the owner of the dealership that they don't need to fix the car as I no longer want it and would like my down payment back. He said he can't refund the down payment because I had them fix too many issues on the car. THEY WERE SUPPOSE TO FIX THESE PROBLEMS EVEN BEFORE PUTTING IT OUT THERE IN THE FIRST PLACE! I called the bank to cancel the financing since the contract was not signed and the deal wasn't finalized yet. They said they were only able to do that if the owner returned the loan back to them. Everytime I call or meet up with the owner to ask him to return the loan back, he keeps saying no. It came down to a point were the owner wouldn't even answer my call because I told him I am going to hire an attorney just to scare him. That didn't work so my only choice was to look for another car that I didn't really want just so my down payment doesn't go to waste! But if I had another choice, I WOULD NEVER EVER go back to this dealership again! THIS DEALERSHIP DESERVES TO BE CLOSED DOWN! If I had known that they are a BUNCH OF BULLCRAP then I would have never considered buying a car from here! I am posting this review to warn you folks.
