I'm giving this business four stars because of their customer service but I did have an issue with their tech who tried to clear a line after pulling the toilet. I wasn't happy he couldn't scope or completely clear the sewer line, later causing me to have a cleanout installed and then I had to clean out the line again. I wrote less than a stellar review prompting Sharee to call me and try and make things right. Kudos to this business for their attention to Yelp reviews and their reputation. She agreed refund me my original invoice amount of $519.00. read more

I contribute online reviews... well, never. This is my first Yelp review, which should tell you something about how happy I am with Service Pros. It goes beyond the work and responsiveness. The job, fixing a broken pipe beneath the house, got very complicated, in part due to a mishmash of confusing plumbing lines left behind when the house was expanded before we bought it. Jaru was great. He clearly explained everything he found, explained the alternatives, and kept at it. He was constantly upbeat, friendly, and professional. Thought it was a toilet leak problem, had the wax seal replaced, which was bad. But, it kept leaking above and a water damage and restoration rep told me to call a plumber because he thought it was a pipe problem. Called Service Pros in a panic because my ceiling drywall was getting really wet. This was on Saturday afternoon. They had a plumber out the next day. I have to give it to Eddie. He found the problem, and it wasn't an easy task. This house is 25 years old and the plumbing is not the best. He had a complex job on his hands, a strange angle to work from, but he stuck with it and got the job done. The pipe is fixed and I'm a happy camper. The price was reasonable and I feel more than worth it. Service Pros saved me a lot of money and further damage to my property. Will definitely be using them again for any pipe or plumbing work. We are new to the Brentwood area. Monday afternoon our main water pipe started to leak from somewhere. We got the main line turned off to stop the leak and used yelp to try to get quotes to fix it. Service Pros was quick to contact us back, said there was no way to give a quote but they could come out Tuesday morning and find the leak and fix it. They did just that. They came out, used a leak detector and found the broken pipe. I was on a customer call for work, so my husband came up to tell me the quote is about $3500. That seems high, but I have never encountered this situation before and it seemed we didn't have much choice. I could not do any research at that time (should have done it the night before), so we agreed to have the work done. Our water was turned back on about 3 or so hours after they arrived. We paid them with a credit card. Talking with neighbors and doing some googling after work, I realize we paid way too much. According to Angie's list the repair should cost between $600-$1500. Our situation was not unusual, nothing to replace but a piece of pipe. It is our fault for agreeing to this amount, but it sure feels like we got fleeced. $389 to find the leak, $2875 to fix the pipe and $98 to use a credit card. I'm not sure if we were even told that there was a 3% credit card fee. If we were, that's our bad too. I just want people to know that they should get more than one quote, even though you may be without water. My father was a plumber and always charged a fair price. The cost to fix the pipe ends up being over $900 an hour which includes waiting time for the pipe to dry (30 minutes). Buyer beware here. Some companies have pricing for situations like this that take advantage of trusting consumers. I have even seen reviews here where this same repair was around $600. read more

They hydrogetted our lines, had an issue a few days later.....and they came back out IMMEDIATLY with three vans to try and resolve the issue ASAP...and took care of the issue at NO COST! You might pay a couple bucks more, but they gaurentee and back up thier work! ...you pay for what you get for, and the few bucks extra (reasonable pricing), we got a gaurentee that paid off! read more

Was just getting ready to go to work and I see the water heater leaking in the garage. Long story short, saw the good reviews on yelp. Called and informed the person over the phone that a repair needed to be on that day. Within a few hrs Steve showed up. Turns out, I needed a new water heater, it was after all 10 Yrs old (lifespan of WH anyways) Steve was able to get me a brand new WH, a second person, Juan to assist. My only draw back was the recommendation that Steve made for an awful company that gave me an outrageous quote to get a plywood/drywall stand repaired or replaced, which caused the delay in installation of my new WH. Like I said, water had only been leaking that very day, it only caused superficial moisture which dried overnight. So 5 star for prompt response and action. 0 star for recommending an awful company by the name of NATIONAL DRYING SERVICES that was trying to rip a woman off! read more

Ana, stop lying and saying you tried to contact me via telephone. The only time you tried to contact me was AFTER I already wrote a review. You tried to rectify the issue and the lack of communication after the damage was already done. We had been communicating all through yelp the entire time. I made my appointments with you through YELP! And yes, I tried multiple channels to try to contact you guys. No one got back to me through my yelp message to you, so in addition, I tried contacting the technician as well to get the new part installed. It's called being proactive, something maybe you as the manager should learn. Despite all this, I ended up going with Rite Rooter Plumbing (Discovery Bay). They were able to diagnose where the real issue was instead of playing a guessing game and having all these unnecessary parts delivered. Your company left me with nearly 3 weeks of no hot water. I called this plumbing company who diagnosed the problem and everything was installed and working within 2 days! I see in all your bad reviews all you do is play the blame game and insinuate your customers are the ones at fault. If want to be an effective manager and maintain your business and customers well, learn to take ownership of the issue instead of pointing fingers. We had a drain line leak in thee places under the house that caused flooding. Service pros had someone come right away and connected us with water removal folks who were just as fast to wet vac, remove contaminated soil disinfect.....huge job! Then Danny and crew arrived fully assessed the state of all the drain lines and suggested replacing all the cast iron that had been in contact with soil. They replaced it all, revamped the lines to not only be all above grade but to drain better. It was expensive but the team was great to work with and quickly earned our trust. We called Service Pros as a referral from a plumbing company we called for an estimate. The company we originally called did not do the sevices we needed. Sevice Pros sent Danny out to give us a free estimate (which was our 3 estimate). Danny came out the next day he met with us and gave us the best estimate! He knows his stuff! The plumber ADMITTED he didn't even look at the pipe/job to be completed and he also spent 10 mins ARGUING with my company. THE ABSOLUTE MOST UNPROFESSIONAL experience I've ever had at my home. Even my HOA was laughing at him. As I STATED in my previous review I DID get it done by a smaller company who offers better service, pricing and customer service. The receptionist was friendly as well and that's about all this company brings to the table. I had a broken end cap pipe in my yard, very accessible about 10 inches under ground. The hole was already dug before the plumber got to my home. The pipe was exposed it just needed some glue and a cap, LITERALLY. He quoted me $509!!!! I had contractors at my home during this time remodeling my kitchen and when the contractor heard the price he quoted me he came outside and asked the plumber from this company why he's trying to work me on something so so so simple..... the plumber became super defensive. I asked if he even bothered to look at the pipe that needs repair and he said NO! Lmao. Still makes me laugh. The plumber didn't even bother to ask me, the home owner if I wanted the service (although the answer would have been HELL NO!!) .... he knew he'd been caught red handed trying to take advantage of a single female home owner and just turned around in embarrassment and left. Guess what, got it fixed for $150 by someone else, you do the math. I contacted Service Pros after 2 other Companies gave a high quote to my 83yr old Aunt. Service Pros came out the same day and gave an honest quote about $30,000 cheaper. Yes you are reading that correct. The other Plumbers said work would take a week. Service Pros did it in 2 days. I was dealing with this from Texas and they were great and did not mind the many phone calls I made to them dealing with financing and getting the work started. My hats off to them for the standup job and most of all to a company that is honest and is not out to rip off our Seniors. I can't say enough good things about the two young men, Josh and Dontez who came out and jetted my drains. My backyard was a mess due to a massive pigeon infestation on my roof solar. Josh was super knowledgeable, helpful, and sympathetic to the nightmare I was going through. He not only cleared my drains but helped me clean up the residual mess. I woke up this morning and found that my Kitchen sink was clogged and the running the garbage disposal made the matter worse as water just started floating up the second sink. I called Service Pros Plumbers and they picked up immediately. I explained my problem and Ana gave me a time-frame to expect plumbing services. At exactly the top of the time frame provided, Jaru from Service Pros Plumbers arrived. He was courteous, informative, asked good questions and got to work right away and fixed the problem quickly. When he was done he cleaned up the area and it looked like he was never there! He then explained to me what he had fixed and gave me some clog prevention tips and then left me with a fully functioning clog-free kitchen sink. I called this company twice. The first time I spoke with Jason and explained that we had a leaking pipe in our crawlspace. He told me that they have a $90 fee to do inspections/quotes for crawlspace areas. I explained I had just bought the house and was trying to get repair quotes and didn't have a lot of $$ to spend paying for quotes. He offered to reduce the cost to $60 and I said I'd call back. After getting another company out (they waived their service fee) and getting a quote I decided to call Jason & Service Pros back. I told him what the other plumber had seen and asked if he could estimate the job. His 'sight unseen estimate' for the same work was over a $1,000 less than the other company. I decided to ask him to schedule someone out from his group to inspect the pipe and give us a quote. The next day Jaru arrived near the end of his 2 hr window and went into the space to review the area. He took pictures to show me (I had tried to get them texted to me but never got them) of the pipe. It as well as the sewer line were needing repair. The quote Jaru gave me was still around $1,000 less than the last company had quoted and I signed the contract for the repair. They were able to start after getting parts, Jaru joined by Gino. They replaced all the pipe under the house for the 1 line that was leaking, and ended up having to replace a bit more pipe in the wall in our garage to our washing machine. In doing that, they broke out a 2'x1' section of the drywall to get to the pipe, cutting a small section of the wood framing of the wall to get the pipe changed out. The majority of the work was done quickly however the wall area in the garage was almost left unaddressed until we spoke with Jason again, stating that the ripped up part of the wall hadn't been discussed with us and that they should at least rough patch it, which Jaru did (great job too). Overall the final cost was more than likely $1,000 less than the other plumber had quoted us and we now can run laundry and do dishes without having water leaking into our crawlspace. I expect to be calling them again if I need repairs. A totally professional and fair company. read more

My technician for internet was under the house and notice a very badly cracked main sewer pipe. I call Service Pro Plumbers immediately and they came out to give me a free estimate and see if/what was wrong. I ended up needing to have all my pipes redone (1940's house) they showed me all the photos they took explained everything in detail, I also asked to have 2 toilets put in why not since their here right? I have a fairly large yard, with numerous drains, a pool and a lot of stamped concrete in the back. The property has two drains in the sidewalk as well. Two years ago the drains next to the pool got clogged, and I used a great deal of root killer to no avail; I feared that the solution might require tearing up the concrete. Some of the roots were enormous and, one side, the pipes were clogged all the way to the street. I called Service Plumbers and their experienced, competent workers were able to fix the problem quickly and efficiently. She was so nice and she listened to my concerns. By the end of the call, Ana put me on the schedule at the first available spot. He is extremely knowledgeable, polite and exudes the utmost professionalism. I had two areas of concerns (leaks) from my upstairs bathrooms. I showed Jason the two areas and he immediately went to work. He explained everything along the way which I certainly appreciated. He even answered questions to other areas that were not apart of the original job. What I admired most about Jason was his work ethic and integrity.
