He reported back that the water damage was superficial due to caulking around the bathtub being insufficient and letting water splash from the shower/tub get under the floor transition. Within a few days, he had technicians to rip up our baseboard and some flooring to dry it out. Overall, they removed/replaced a small part of our wall, baseboard and flooring due to some leaking through a cable hole, which they discovered and patched up for us. A few hours after contacting lots of other carpet cleaners to try to still get the job done (since I had already moved all the furniture) Jeff called to confirm our appointment. I was super confused and told him the office staff had said I had no appointment. He assured me I was on his schedule and that he would call the office. He called a few minutes later and all was squared away. He showed up on our appointment date on schedule and completed the job as quoted. I love the job with the grout cleaning and most of the carpet throughout except for the master bedroom. I think that maybe we just have a very light color carpet there and maybe that's why it didn't look as clean as I would have hoped. Pictures follow. The scheduling part was so confusing and such a hassle that I don't want to call back to have them come look at the master again so I'll just tell myself it's my carpet color. Since I wanted pet deodorizing + deep cleaning, AGC informed me that the technician would give me a new quote once he assessed my apartment. The technician I had was Jeff! Jeff was a rockstar, and super helpful. My carpets looked better than new once he was done! His add-on quote for the pet deodorizing was SO reasonable! I couldn't believe it! I'm kind of embarrassed to be attaching these photos because my carpet was disgusting, but check out the during and after! Chase (with helper Andrew) patched it up perfectly, dealing with the fact that one of the 4 speaker mounting points had been broken. The other cuts, in our wall, were also patched perfectly. Texture was applied to both, matching the rest of the ceiling and wall. We were given the option of doing the painting ourselves, or they could come back and paint it. We chose the latter, so Chase came back a few days later (after everything had dried) and completed the job. No one could possibly tell there was repair work done in any of the places. They were on time (or a bit early) both times. They laid a paper runner to the area, preserving our carpeting (and wore booties at other times). Casey (the owner) was super responsive via text, and was a pleasure to work with. The price was a bit more than I had originally expected, but the amount of work involved was also more than I realized. I highly recommend Wallen's Drywall for any drywall job you need done.
