He didn't have the part at the time, so I bought it thinking we could fix it ourselves -- we quickly realized we could not! I called Pete again, and he came right by and fixed it for us. When I tried to pay him, he refused. That kind of customer service is hard to find these days. It really says a lot about a company that still takes the time to help their customers long after the job is done. My house flooded a few months ago and I called Kustom US. At first they were great. They showed up…read morequickly, got the demo done and had fans drying my house. But when I hired them to do the remodel, the job went south very quickly. I am very unhappy with the work this company did. On day 1, they broke a pot that had a plant in it and didn't tell me. They hid the plant in a random bucket and I had to be the one to get them to replace the broken pot, which didn't happen until the last day of this 2 month ordeal. They used the toilet at my house, which was in my bedroom, and didn't flush. When I was home, a worker said some very inappropriate things to me like "cock and fuck" and "this insurance work is such easy money." Which made a job I already felt uneasy about, more unsettling. They left dings in the walls and spaces between the baseboards and flooring. The baseboards are not the same shiny white they used to be, they're dull and look dirty which makes me think they were only primed. There was sticky dirt left on almost every other panel of the new flooring that I have to use goo-gone to get off. They re-installed my toilet, stove and dishwasher side-ways and the sink in my guest room only dispenses hot water now. They used my couch that I had placed outside as their own personal work station. I came home to stacks of wood and tools on the couch. Some of this was fixed and taken care of but I had to ask over and over again. I am not a confrontational person but there were times where I had to fight with my project director for the sake of getting my house back to what is was. Overall I would not recommend this company and wish I would have used someone else.

After reviewing my photos, he called back, gave me tips on things I could immediately and made an appointment for the next day to review the water damage and mold concerns. When Jim came the next day, after a full assessment, he gave us tips on how to remediate the situation ourselves, but after consideration, we decided to have Jim do the work. Although our job was relatively small (a toilet seal failed on a slab foundation on the first floor), Jim was meticulous about setting up a containment, doing a full remediation and final clearance test. If I ever needed additional work on my home after water leak or intrusion, I would only call on Jim to review and remediate.

He advised us to run a fan during the day for several days to dry it out. That speaks volumes about their integrity, a majority of businesses will gladly take your money. Emergency Restoration Services is now in my contacts list and will be the first I call when we need someone. Thanks a ton, guys! We stopped using the sink and ran the fan, went with a different plumber who started the job three days later, and they confirmed it was already drying up.
