The night before I brought my car in my car wouldn't start after work, so i towed it home. He wasn't in the day I brought my car in, I needed help, assuming everyone is capable and work as a unit, I entrusted my vehicle with a guy name Ivan to check my car out. He told me it's my alternator. I bought after maker used alternator that didn't work well, I bought a brand new sensor from Oreillys that didn't work either, so I ended up buying a brand new battery sensor from Honda, then i bought a brand new alternator from Oreillys and that didn't work either, so I ended up buying a brand new alternator from Honda, which cost around $700 I went to Honda twice, loved my experience there, it was expensive but I felt like they cared enough to educate you. Honda Colma, CA. I took several trips to Oreillys buying and returning parts. I even bought a brand new battery just because it's getting low anyway and that wasn't even part of the plan. So i ended up reconnecting with the Manager of this place named Juan, he ended up replacing the brand new honda alternator for me, to find out there's a burnt out fuse due to replacing alternators a few times, he took care of that, then he told me the "fuse box" needs to replaced, so we got that done too at the same time. all of this was happening back in late February, then March. I waited this long to write this review, for a reason, i wanted to know if something will go wrong again. About 2 weeks ago, I was at the gas station and my car wouldn't start, maybe because i left the key in the ignition even though my car was off, so i got it jump started at the gas station, everything was fine. I was told by the mechanic of this place to bring it if it happens again. Last Friday i was out of town at the gas station again, my car wouldn't start, so i waited for maybe 5 min, and it started. this morning, it won't start, i asked my neighbors to jump start and it wouldn't do anything, it has the clicking noise everyone tells me it's the starter. I called the manager of this place like hey, I've mentioned this to you guys twice, did you guys not check the starter and he said no, and there's no way to check it. I'm just over this place, i'm asked to go back there next morning, but F that, I - 0% trust this place now, i'm going to 415 mechanix at this point, they have been so helpful with me on the phone. After they read this, I hope they learn, and educate themselves even more, because there's too much back and forth. 415 mechanix had fixed my starter for me, really nice guy, honest and direct, with communication skills, I suggest that place. Andy is the owner and he's great. I'm never going back to this place, I was patient for as long as I could, I was calm, but i'm better off elsewhere.

I went on youtube and sent Ramses the video describing it was the ignition switch rather than the starter motor. I said to him 'are you 100% sure it's only the starter motor'? His response was'yes'. Then he had my vehicle towed to Hyndai in Colma and they verified it was indeed the ignition switch. I never was billed for the starter motor Ramses installed, nor the towing that he paid for. I never heard back from him regarding his incorrect diagnosis.

Wow, had a car disaster with a breakdown on 680 near Concord. I was so stressed because I was on my…read moreway to a DJ gig. A friend brought his truck which saved my life and the gig, but I had to deal with the car still. I didn't know there was a four hour limit before a car gets towed..anyway, fetched my car out of the tow yard and a friend gave me a ride there. My car broke down on the way back (battery terminal issue) and my friend recommend Mike @ Anywhere Automotive nearby. Trusting my friend, we went over, it was late evening on a Sunday. Slipped the key into the mailbox and texted Mike the details of what happened. Long story short, Mike did great work, went over and above and got my car back to me the next day. INCREDIBLE turnaround and this was one of the COLDEST days of the year. It is not easy to work with your hands out in the cold. Huge respect to Mike. Gave him a tip on top of the great work he did. I had two car issues that both became a colossal failure point. I had a minor front end collision that moved my radiator. Over time, it was rubbing on a certain part of the chassis and a slow leak developed that took several months to form. Meanwhile, my battery terminal was corroding from a bad battery (I just replaced it) and I didn't take care of the corrosion cleanly. It came back and the lack of conductivity was killing the battery charge. So my car would lose power every 30 seconds without a jump. Mike replaced the radiator, replaced the battery terminal and even fixed hood a bit so it could close all the way. There was a gap previously due to the the small accident before. It was such an eyesore. He also cleared my codes and gave me pointers on future items to work on for the car. Just amazing honesty, competence and speed. And again, he was working on one of the coldest days of the year. Had to give him an extra tip for that that too. Thank you Mike!!

0 's I normally…read moredon't write reviews, but I feel it's important to warn others about what I've gone through with Anywhere Automotive and its owner, Michael Babcock. I paid $3,500 for repairs on my truck, and when it was returned, the engine was still misfiring and had been altered in unsafe ways. When I asked for documentation, Michael refused to give me a copy of a waiver he made me sign and became aggressive and unprofessional. I filed a formal complaint with the Bureau of Automotive Repair, which investigated and ruled in my favor, confirming that I was owed a refund. Unfortunately, even after that decision, he has not paid me back. I'm now having to take him to small claims court just to recover what's rightfully mine. This whole experience has been incredibly stressful and draining. No one deserves to be treated this way -- especially after paying thousands of dollars and trusting a business with their vehicle and safety. Please learn from my experience and avoid this shop.
