The best lobster roll I've ever had hands down. There are plenty of competing places in Cape Cod, but yelp reviews convinced us to go here and I'm glad to say it didn't disappoint. It's cash only but there's an ATM inside next to the register. Prices are about average ($22 for lobster roll, $6 for soups, etc.) Something to note is that if you want soup, you have to go outside and place your order there! The line is always long and wraps around outside, but trust me when I say it moves extremely quick. There is also plenty of outdoor patio seating that looks over the harbor. When you place your order, just sit outside and they'll come out and call whatever number assigned to you. My whole group ended up ordering a variety of items, including the CT styled lobster roll, clam platter, fisherman's platter, lobster bisque, and clam chowder. Highlight is the lobster roll and an absolute must with glorious hot butter drizzled all over it. I've never seen so many giant chunks of tender claws in my life. They definitely don't skimp here, that's for sure. I also appreciate how the bun doesn't crumble into pieces or get soggy/wet like other places I've been to. The chowder and bisque were good but nothing to rave about, and the platters were decent according to my friends. But just do me a favor and get the lobster roll, you won't regret it! read more

This is my go-to spot for fresh seafood during the summer! First of all...it's BYOB...which automatically makes it awesome! There's plenty of parking and there is always a line, so be prepared. Totally worth it though! There's a ton of picnic tables to sit at but I suggest claiming your spot with a cooler before you order your food. They fill up fast! We stood in line about 20 min, then paid $68 for lunch (2 waters, hot dog with onion rings, clam chowder with lobster roll), shared unbussed picnic table with other unmasked customers (DURING COVID) then waited another 1/2 hr before our food was cooked/served. Wait staff are unmasked if that is a concern for 1st timers. Roaming hoards angling for an open seat & gulls, sparrows looking to steal your food. I thought it would be worth the view, but SO many people come here at lunch, more ppl than available seats, stresses kitchen, staff & customers IMHO. If you ask them to box it "to-go", they charge an extra $2.50. This is such a cute little spot! The outdoor picnic tables are so nice overlooking the water. I got a plain sausage egg and cheese- I was not expecting much but it was a GREAT breakfast sandwich. The food was excellent and the setting and view is unmatched, especially at dusk/sunset. Unfortunately from the server at the raw bar, to several of the servers delivering food to the outside tables... there is an opportunity to improve how they are training their staff to mitigate the risks of COVID-19. Bussers wiping their eyes with gloves on, face coverings not covering their noses and yelling out order numbers while carrying trays of food with their masks half on. Most of these servers were young people, and while I know the area is generally short-staffed this summer and everyone is doing their best, I wonder if this might be an opportunity for management to do some monitoring and reinforcing. read more

I would come here just to enjoy some seafood with a spectacular view. Parking is complementary when you eat here, which is nice. We came here for breakfast and ordered a lobster omelette and benedict. Both were satisfactory. We got good chunks of lobster, although it was slightly overcooked. The omelette was cooked well and the home fries had a nice crisp. The benedict was underwhelming. Next time I'm here, I would love to try their lunch menu. 3 stars for the food, but I'd still recommend coming here for the view and calming outdoor dining atmosphere. read more

My husband and I just spent a long weekend in the area to attend a wedding and to sample as many lobster rolls as humanly possible. While the market price was a bit painful everywhere we went these days, it is what it is. Sesuit Harbor Cafe delivered the best lobster rolls by far. I've always loved this place but today our lobster roll was a huge disappointment. For a whopping 35.51 per roll, one would think there would be more than claw and knuckle meat. Any self respecting lobster roll should have some tail in there too. Where do the tails go? Oh man, places like this are the reason I love New England in the summer/fall (among many reasons). I heard this place has one of MA's best lobster rolls, so I had to check it out. It was tasty--I'm typically not a big fan of the cold mayo roll, but this was properly seasoned and definitely hit the spot on the toasted bun. The harbor views, friendly service--very nice. Upon observation, looks like you can BYOB and the next time I am in the area, I'll be sure to check out the whole belly clams and onion rings (a fav combo of mine). All in all, a lovely place to stop by, especially after the Cape Cod Rail Trail, which is super close. read more

I was not prepared for the sticker shock for the summer of 2022. It appears the prices increased,but the size decreased. A lobster roll is $35, and if you prefer the salad it's $42. I love this place. It's amazing. It's one of the few good values left on the cape. The ownership runs a tight ship. The views at sunset are unmatched. Bring your favorite bottle of wine and share a table with someone new. The food comes out hot and quick. The line to get your order in is as much a control on kitchen flow. Some of the best fried seafood & definitely a contender for cape cods best lobster roll. This is a summer institution on the Cape. They have excellent sea food and particularly excellent lobster rolls. It can be kind of tricky to find, as it is out of site of the road behind a large marina. However, in season there is always some one directing traffic. The building a quirky with nautically themed items hanging all over the building. The inside is not much at all. However, once you get your food the tables in the back have a great view of the water. It really is nice out there. This is also one of those places that only accepts cash. One of their less endearing qualities, but there is an ATM on premise for cash-impaired diners. Their approach to delivering your meal is also no-tech, but quite efficient. Your receipt gives you a number and the staff delivers it very quickly to the tables. read more

4.5 stars. Fish shanty by a small pier that sells delicious and fresh seafood at good prices. We got the fisherman platter to share between two people. Was looking forward to these Lobster rolls on my visit and even though the food was mediocre at best (sloppy roll and cold fries) my review is more geared towards the service. We ordered at the outside raw bar and asked about takeout. The server was a young women who clearly was having a bad day, she made it a point that if we ordered take out we were not to be eating on property and then reaffirmed that point. She was very short in her delivery and just gave a very bad attitude. Regardless of spending $75+ at the cafe you shouldn't be treated like this. It's clear the staff has minimal to no training as you could see the chaos happening while orders were being delivered to other customers. I look forward to visiting other places on the cape hopefully with better service. Sometimes you only get one shot at getting return customers and this place FAILED BAD! Well we came hungry, paid $12 to park in the marina next door (where their parking overflows to once their free lot is full), and left 5 minutes later, unhappy. We came quite out of the way in hopes to have our first lobster roll ever from one of the highest recommended places on the cape, but didn't realize it was cash only, (an oversight on my part as it is listed on yelp and Instagram but nowhere on their website which is where I was looking). They do have an ATM on sight, but it was out of service. I recommend calling to see if it's working if you're not carrying cash. It was a little busy, but not horrible for an early dinner Labor Day weekend. Seating is shareable picnic tables. Wish I could say something about their food but, I'm still hungry. read more

Sesuit Harbor Cafe (357 Sesuit Neck Road, Dennis) has been highly praised and often recommended as a place to go for lobster rolls with a view. We finally went today after some beach time in Brewster and we are pleased to join the legions of boosters. The view, on this clear, hot day, was absolutely gorgeous. We arrived (strategically, I'd like to think) at 11:45 am after a quick drive from enjoying a long walk the Brewster flats at Crosby's Landing Beach. There was plenty of parking, no line to order--one of their famed lobster rolls for my wife and a cup of chowder for me. One freshly brewed iced tea--which really did taste freshly brewed. Items from the raw bar, including chowder and lobster bisque, are ordered from one counter, everything else from the slightly larger counter. Cash only please (something I had learned from reading reviews, so I was prepared, unlike some other potential customers I observed--thank you). No sooner had we found some shaded seating overlooking the entry way from the bay to the harbor than a friendly, if somewhat soft-spoken, server was calling out our number. As we ate, I noticed the speed with which orders were being delivered to other people. People, ordered, paid, walked out to find a seat and within just a few minutes their order was being delivered. Rather remarkable, especially as the crowd grew during our lunch there The chowder was solid, not goopy, with a rich clam flavor, though it might have contained a few more pieces of clam. It was also hot, which I also appreciate, though I wish it had come with a pat or two of butter to float in the chowder. No matter, I enjoyed it. But the lobster roll was clearly the star--as it should be for a place famed for its lobster rolls. Lightly dress with some mayo and finely diced celery, a large portion of knuckle and clam meat was nestled on top of a piece of leaf lettuce inside a nicely toasted New England style hot dog roll. The fries which came with it were crisp and hot (which was surprising given the speed with which the order was served) and the coleslaw was fresh, crisp, and tasty. I sampled a piece of lobster, a piece of the toasted roll, a few fries (well, maybe more than a few as my wife was busy enjoying the fresh lobster meat), and two spoons of the slaw. By 12:20 the section closest to the building was filled with people, as was the parking lot (but the section closest to the water still had all of its seating wide open). We've enjoyed quite a few lobster rolls this season at various establishments on and off the Cape. At $33 (with fries and slaw), the Sesuit Harbor Cafe roll was probably at the midpoint of what we have variously paid, but it was most certainly at the pinnacle of freshness and taste. I'm not sure I would dare to go there at the height of peak season given that we are adverse to crowds. But with the sun out today, the water warm, and the air temps in the high 80s, it may as well be "summer" so we fully enjoyed the experience. read more
