Every time we go there recently, someone gets sick. Years ago Sette Luna was great but the second to last time I ended up in the hospital and the last time my son got sick for days. Looks are deceiving. All of the photos LOOK really good, but this place is very average. We started with the risotto balls. They had potential of being GREAT, but they were only good because they were slightly cold in the middle. I'm guessing they're pre made and then warmed up when ordered. We also got the marinara pizzas which were not bad (as far as Pennsylvania pizza goes). The giant chunks of mozzarella made it awkward to eat. Slightly garlic heavy, which I personally enjoy. What bothered me is that I asked if we could get some bread - ya know, most restaurants you can get a little bit of bread that comes with the meal. They brought out a few slices of bread that came with the risotto balls- and it was pretty good bread, nothing crazy. They charged $3.25 for bread. That's not an outrageous price, but who charges for a couple of slices of bread? Usually it's on the house. Experience here was overall fine. read more

We checked in with the host and were seated right away without a reservation considering all the other restaurants on the block were not taking walk ins. Our waitress Crystal was friendly and welcoming suggesting things on the menu. We ordered beers and the risotto balls which were great! Entrees came out quickly. All of the entrees were great. The mozzarella raviolis in the pesto sauce were the best Ive had. The mozzarella was so fresh and the pesto sauce I could put in everything. Wonderful experience dining outdoors. My boyfriend and I visited last Saturday evening and there were a few good things and not so good things during our visit, but overall we were fairly happy with the experience. The Good: - Our waitress was great (very friendly and helpful) - We were seated right away - Food was good - We weren't charged for our drinks (since the computers went down and we had to reorder them, which took a while) The Not So Good: - The actual prices for our meals were about 50% higher than the prices shown on the website menu (didn't find out until we got our bill). There was no physical menu-- only a QR code on the table which didn't work, so I looked up Sette Luna's online menu which has very outdated pricing. - I received the wrong pasta. I ordered Angnolotti with mozzarella but got Angnolotti with zucca (butternut squash). I couldn't figure out why it tasted different than expected until we got the bill and saw the wrong pasta listed. I still enjoyed it though (but would have preferred mozzarella). - We chose to sit outside since it was a nice evening. However, be aware that small droppings fall from the trees along the sidewalk patio at this time of year. Not a huge deal, but we had to keep our drinks covered and I kept watching my food to make sure nothing fell into it. read more

Agnolotti cinghiali e funghi Wild boar ravioli with mushroom sauce. I like meat ravioli so I thought this would be a change up; didn't taste any different than usual meat ravioli (which is fine) as the consistency was the same and the pasta was fresh. The mushroom sauce was really delicious and a good change the usual red sauce or cheese (which I do love). The Tuscan white bean soup was delicious and flavorful, as recommended by a vegetarian. Very underwhelmed last night.. Sette is usually one of my downtown faves.. The food was mediocre at best. My risotto was merely rice with vegetables, not creamy not risotto at all. The Bolognese had way too much cream...Felt very crowded in a small room, wanted to eat outside but was told the heaters were broken since the storm. The worst part though, was after we were offered cheese on our food the server wrapped the cheese in a towel and shoved it in his armpit.!!! A very disappointing evening, I had friends in from New Jersey and raved about the restaurant. We were all underwhelmed. Tuscan Italian spot in downtown Easton that has some of the best specialty pizza I've had in the area. I love going here all throughout the year, during the summer sitting outside is a must! Cocktails are always great, and servers are always just as good. The highlight I think of Sette Luna is the pasta dish called "Agnolotti con Mozzarella", all I can say is 'WOW!'. The pesto cream is one of the best sauces I've ever had! Easily a top 3 restaurant in the downtown Easton area. read more

My husband and I only came for dessert and coffee. I would have to say that the chocolate mousse was ok but the tiramisu was probably the worst I have ever had. It was served in a bowl and was basically whipped cream on top of a pool of brandy. There was no flavor besides alcohol. This is a pretty classic dessert so I'm not sure why they felt the need to put their own spin on it, but it was terrible. The best Italian food I've ever had. The vibe from this restaurant is so unique, it is LIVELY with all capital letters. I have never seen this place not busy. There is usually a short wait time (10-15 mins at most), but the host will usually invite you to their bar so you can sip on a little drink before you are seated. The dinner menu is very specifically Tuscan, which means a lot of meat-heavy dishes. If that's your jam, you'll love this place. I have not seen the menu change too much in the past several months, but I am excited to try anything they make, as it is all DELICIOUS! Food was good but service was terrible: they do not know how to accommodate a large group--we were 10 people for dinner on a Saturday night and the set up our table in front of the kitchen/oven. my mom is in a wheelchair and they kept bumping into to her. The head host was rude, curt and friendly. i would never recommend this restaurant and never go back there and the host could not care if he lost a customer. We absolutely LOVE this place!! The food is always top shelf!! We meet friends there on a regular basis. This is the first time I have a complaint and it's about the service we got, or really, the lack of service!! Thankfully, the other waitperson on deck that day picked up some of the slack or we would have been tempted to leave no tip at all (an extraordinarily rare occurrence for us), it was that bad!! When I leaned over to one of our friends to remark on the lousy service, she said was thinking the same thing. Amazing smells waft as you iron the door to this quaint restaurant with authentic Italian Foods. Our server was patient and kind with our first visit and willing to share as much as he could. Two diners got the lunch special as loved the Bianca Pizza. The soup was to die for as well. I would certainly recommend a visit when in Easton. read more

First time in downtown Easton, wanted to try some Italian. Location is nice, a bit loud inside, but the waiting staff were great. Every single person working was very in tune with what was going on and never stopped moving. Services were very quick and was shocked how fast it was all done. Never felt rushed. Food was very tasty and priced very well. The pasta dishes are even cheaper than olive garden, sauces are very flavorful, but you do get less pasta itself than other places typically give. Pizza was the stone oven type, also very good. The only warning I would give is that drinks can get pricey. They have these very tasty frozen drinks, but are $12 a piece. Reccomend you try the flavors before ordering. read more

I went down a street on my way to where I thought I would be having neapolitan pizza. I found Sette Luna which also had pizza and a bonus, dining al fresco. So I settled down and had a phenomenal meal, no exaggeration. Everything sounded so good so I skipped the pizza, which I figured I can get anywhere. I started with the grilled octopus. It came as one piece with ample char marks. It was so tender and perfect with just a little lemon. The rest of the items on the plate complemented it very well and were great on their own: small potatoes with capers, arugula leaves with dressing and a pickled hot pepper to add some spice. Then I had the seafood special which was prawns over a long, thick pasta in a white cream sauce. This dish was equally delicious. Creamy sauce on perfectly al-dente pasta with prawns grilled just right. I ate the entire thing with no regrets. Service was friendly without being overbearing. Very nice Italian restaurant near the heart of Easton, PA. I had the agnolotti con zucca (roasted butternut squash ravioli) and my partner had the fettuccine con funghi. We both had Etna Rosso red wine to with it. We had just finished a three hour tubing ride on the Delaware river and were feeling hungry. Both dishes were excellent (we shared our entrées with each other). The agnolotti was in the perfect consistency and flavor. The fettuccine was also delicious with bits of sausage and mushrooms. Both dishes' sauces were so good that we ordered extra bread (also amazing delicious) to sop up the sauces. After years of hearing locals rave about this place, we decide to try it out. After months of being confined due to the Pandemic, we thought we'd treat ourselves to something fancy. We ordered the risotto balls and Calamari which were very good. The main dishes were another story. The Risotto was the worst risotto I have ever had! It was dry and tasteless. The grilled shrimp on the plate was the only edible part. The seafood Pasta Special was ok and but for a special was way over priced. Also, a seafood pasta should have more than just shrimp. The New York Strip was rubbery, chewy and bland. They sliced it before plating which made a mid rare steak dry! The side was some sort of sweet potato salad that did not pair well with the steak. The best dish was the Agnolotti Con Mozzarella. The sauce was very good. In an effort to salvage dinner we ordered a cheese cake and a tiramisu. The cheese cake missing the cheese cake crust and appeared to be thrown on the plate. It looked more like a yogurt parfait than a cheesecake. The tiramisu was, by far, the worst and most disgusting tiramisu I have ever experienced. What a pathetic attempt at a spin on a classic dessert. The tiramisu looked like slop thrown into a ramekin and had way too much alcohol. It seems as Seta Luna maybe more of a fancy Pizzeria as opposed to an Italian restaurant. Two apps four main dishes and two desserts no drinks $160 + tip for very good service but less than adequate food is not a 4 star review. Definitely not going back. read more

The last time I was at Sette was 11 years ago. Being there last night reminded me why it has been such a long hiatus. A complimentary small cup of olives (about 6) were placed on the table upon being greeted by our waiter. No bread & butter. The entree portions are small, I mean almost tiny. I ordered angolotti con ricotta - got 4 pieces. The menu describes it as coming with "fresh spinach" - but that was no where to be found on the plate. My bill for entree, wine, coffee and tip was north of $40. and I walked out hungry. Now I'm not a big guy - about 165 pounds - but I do enjoy a substantial dinner as I do not snack during the day. So, be prepared - either have something before going to Sette, or be prepared to drop more dough for a salad and dessert. Better yet, there are many fine restaurants in Easton. PS: The prices shown on their website are false. The website shows my dish as $15., but the menu indicates and my tab was $22. read more

I've been here for lunch before and it was great but dinner was not! This is not a Michelin star restaurant however they seem to think they are by the portions. I don't mind paying higher prices for quality food and service (we often do pay $100 a head) but I didn't get that here. $35 for short ribs special that was a 7 ounce piece of short rib no bone that was either broiled or baked no gravy with excessive pepper. The portion size was not listed in the menu or we wouldn't have ordered it. 5 people in our party ordered this. One person's short rib was about 3 ounces! They agreed and offered replacements but some of us decided not to have anything! The broccoli rabe, which was serve with almost every entree, was so bitter that it was inedible. For those of us who eat and cook broccoli rabe we know it can be overly bitter if not cooked correctly and obviously they don't know how to cook it here. When we advised the manager about our concerns she said we were "attacking her." She then asked "did you ask what size the short rib was?" We explained that if they are selling "short ribs" by the ounce like a filet mignon or sirloin etc, the size should have been noted as short ribs are not normally sold per ounce so we wouldn't think to ask. The manager said that the owner writes the menu descriptions. This could have went on forever but we asked that she end the conversation as there were other guests having to listen to this. Horrible horrible experience! We were celebrating 2 birthdays with a total of 11 guests. One of the entrees a chicken cutlet, was so thin that the chicken was the same thickness as the light breading coating and it was cold. Other entrees had issues as well. Too much to write. So $840 for 9 people, since my husband and I didn't eat at all, with very minimal alcohol ordered, and food subpar, it was a waste of money. Nobody enjoyed themselves. We had to go to the bar and order and pay for drinks there because the waitress didn't come back to ask. She only asked within 15 minutes of us being seated and didn't check back after that. For those with fine dining experience and expect professional service, this is not the place for you. read more
