I traded in an 11-year-owned Ferrari 360 as part of this deal... and sent them a buyer for an immediate $15k profit. When the car arrived, the graphics installation was severely defective: 60+ air bubbles indicating poor surface preparation, vinyl tenting around structural rivets, multiple panels installed crooked, one graphic installed completely upside-down, and an improperly trimmed exhaust cutout that was already lifting. I also discovered the storm cover and a floor mat listed on the build sheet were missing. When I'd specifically asked the sales manager if there was anything "used" about the car, I was told there were no issues at all. When I raised these concerns, Flemings' response was to propose "smoothing out" the bubbles rather than replacing the defective panels, despite the fact that vinyl which has tented over rivets has compromised adhesive and cannot be properly corrected this way. The dealership principal told me not to contact him directly going forward. After too much back-and-forth with no meaningful resolution, I had no choice but to escalate directly to Morgan Motor Company. To their credit, Morgan responded quickly, apologized for the experience, and arranged for a replacement graphics kit to be sent directly from the factory, something Flemings had refused to do despite my offering to cover the reinstallation costs myself. The Super 3 itself is a fantastic car, and Morgan Motor Company's response was excellent. But my experience with Flemings.. from the incomplete disclosure at sale to the defective installation to the deflection when I tried to resolve it, was well below what I'd expect from an authorized dealer of a premium brand. I would not purchase from or recommend Flemings.

The police determined the inspection was fraudulent and voided the inspection. Cars of Rockville refuses to take the car back despite that this was an illegal sale based on a fraudulent inspection. In addition it was also illegal to sell a car that had a tampered emissions and this car has a cheater spacer welded onto the catalytic converter. A massive oil leak down the back of the engine a massive transmission fluid leak a broken control arm the damper on the CV axle is cracked to motor mounts are broken and the differential mount is broken. The axles are not seated properly. The car is not drivable and is now illegal to drive. The cars of Rockville is actively refusing to do anything about it other than tell me to take the car back to the fraudulent inspector and they will "help me address some of the issues the inspector might have missed". Whatever that means. I'm sure they're not going to pay $8,900 to fix the car. They have ignored a State Trooper telling them to fix this mess, they have gotten a Montgomery County Consumer protection investigator suspended just for doing his job and investigating them, and if you look at all their reviews you have to look at everything and bring up the worst reviews first to get the truth. Do not buy a car from these grifters. They will ruin you financially. They do not care about their customers. All they care about is how much money they can get per car and they put very little if anything into each car and then get an inspection done that is not legitimate and then sell the car to unsuspecting customers as if it's in good shape when it's not. This is fraudulent inducement fraudulent misrepresentation breach of contract I could go on and on.

I knew going in that I would pay more at Carmax than at some other dealerships, but in the end, the extra cost (the shipping fee plus Carmax just being pricier in general) was worth it. My salesman, Marcus, was super nice and chill. I didn't feel rushed or pressured at all. The sales staff let me take a longer test drive than the normally allowed 20 min, and I appreciated their flexibility. After all, if I'm going to drop thousands of dollars on a vehicle, I need sufficient time to test drive it, visually inspect it, etc. I also appreciate the fact that Marcus and the crew did NOT drill license plate holes in my front bumper (the state my car shipped from does not require a front tag). He knew the car was looking sharp, and he guessed correctly that I would want to avoid drilling holes if possible (I found a magnet solution). He handed me my front tag as well as an order for Carmax tag installation if I changed my mind. That is good customer service. Now to the reason why I don't regret having paid a bit more at Carmax. My car ended up having two issues: an engine emissions issue (check engine alert) that required Carmax to update a couple of parts, and a paint bubble on the rear quarter panel. I'm thankful that I noticed both issues within the 90-day warranty period. For the paint issue, I brought the car back in, a service manager looked at it, and he said right away they'd cover the repair (either through a repair shop of their choosing or of my choosing). Again, I appreciated the flexibility. I was a little surprised they didn't write up paperwork promising to cover the repair, but sure enough, at the designated time, my chosen repair shop called the service manager, and the service manager made the payment. How about that? A handshake deal that came through. But seriously, Carmax, the paperwork route is the better one. Some pro tips: Make an appointment online. Unless it's a slow day like a Monday, do not just stroll in and expect quick service. I made two appointments (for two separate test drives), and a salesman greeted me within minutes of my arrival each time. Another tip: take longer than 20 minutes for your test drive if needed. They are flexible (and they do not ride with you during the test drive). I'm giving 4 stars instead of 5 because it's a bit disappointing to have to bring a new (to me) car in twice for repairs, but they did live up to their warranty. I'm also just a tad bitter that they offered me a low price for a trade-in/sale a few years ago, but, hey, I didn't have to take their offer. All in all, I would not hesitate to shop here again. You might pay a bit more, but at least you get a 90-day warranty. Some other local dealerships offer nothing after you drive off the lot. My only other piece of advice (not Carmax-related) is to shop Certified Pre-Owned (CPO) if possible. The particular car I wanted was too old for that kind of certification, so I went the Carmax route. Cheers.

First, I was told I couldn't transfer my personal tags to at leased Vehicle. I informed that I had done it on five prior leases of different vehicles. They grudgingly said they would do it and then I ended up having two different title numbers issued. Ended up spending hours at the MVA trying to sort it out. I also never received the fragrance cartridges that were supposed to come with the car. I emailed the dealership twice and never received a response. All of the paperwork for my lease was digital and was supposed to be accessed by a password that I created. Tried to access that paperwork when I went to the MVA and the password didn't work. It said the only way to reset It was to contact the dealership. I called and told them I needed it reset immediately because I was at the motor vehicle administration. My call was transferred to some extension and nobody ever called me back. I escalated all of my issues to Genesis corporate and was told somebody would reach out to them and have them get back to me right away. I got a call back from corporate two days later saying they had tried to call Fitzgerald, Genesis of Rockville and they never received a call back! I have been a Lexus owner for 15 years because the service was incredible. I have never been treated so poorly by an auto dealership in my life. To add insult injury, it is the hardest dealership to access and try to park in because there is absolutely no space for parking there. It is also hard to get in and out of because of the traffic. At this point, I would cross the American Legion bridge just to find a different dealership.

We went for a test drive, then headed into the office to review the car history and sign the paperwork. The atmosphere was casual, no pressure. Justin attempted to answer my questions, what he didn't know, another salesman, Tony, helped with. The manager/owner also came out and discussed how they get and vet cars. Everyone was pleasant to work with and it really was a no-haggle/hassle processes. The paperwork was simple enough and I drove away with the vehicle the same day.

We purchased a car for our College aged son back in May 2024. We have purchased several cars in…read morefrom other dealers but decided to give Member Car a try. We took the car back to member car for A/C service three weeks after we brought it. It appears that the A/C issues that we had with the vehicle (That were not corrected) led to other issues such as coolant leak into the #3 cylinder (head gasket issues) which caused the turbo issue. Our son returned to school Richmond, VA four weeks later and alerted us that the car would not go above 20 miles per hour. We had him take the car to the shop in Richmond, and they alerted us that both the fuel injectors and the turbo have gone bad on the car. We found an outstanding shop in Richmond that diagnosed the issues that the car dealer should have noticed. Cylinder 2 and cylinder 3 misfire codes. The shop performed cylinder air fuel ratio test and vehicle failed due to cylinder 4 running too rich. Based on this the engine is more than likely leaning out the vehicle which is causing cylinders 1,2 and 3 to misfire. Cylinder 4 injector has gone bad. Due to condition of vehicle misfiring they did not test drive vehicle but performed cylinder air fuel test at idle. After replacing injectors and running vehicle we found noise coming from engine area. Narrowed noise down to a bad or failing waste gate on turbo. With waste gate unplugged the noise is not present. The shop took off the inlet pipe going into the turbo to confirm that the turbo compressor wheel does have lots of shaft play and does not spin well at all which confirms the turbo itself is bad causing the lack in power while trying to accelerate The shop looked the vehicle over and only found that the A/C condenser has a spot where it looks like it may be leaking some but the A/C was cold The shop found that find head gasket is blown, by doing a coolant pressure test and pretty quickly the test lost pressure, they found water in cylinder #3. The vehicle needed a head gasket replacement, turbocharger replacement including the fuel injectors. WE HAD TO PAY $5000 AND WE JUST BROUGHT THE CAR FOR $15000. WE TRIED TO CALL THE OWNER AND HE IGNORED OUR CALLS, THEN ALL OF A SUDDENHE GOT COVID. DO NOT BUY A CAR FROM MEMBER CAR.
