I stopped by here earlier today by myself for my morning coffee. When traveling, I like to hit up local coffee shops and on this day I happened to go to Seven Grams Coffee. For full disclosure, this was my second coffee of the day but I did grab it on my walk into the office. I had actually noticed Seven Grams earlier in the morning but it was still closed at that point. In any case, it's located on Charlton Street in SoHo and the storefront itself is somewhat small. Inside there's a clean, modern setup with some seating and a display case loaded with yummy looking pastries. After looking over the drink options I ultimately decided on a cappuccino. It took about five minutes from ordering until I had my drink in hand and was on my way. Once I was able to taste it, I thought it was pretty good. The espresso here easily stood up to the milk and had a nice strong flavor. Then the milk itself was smooth and paired well with the coffee. The bottom line for me is that I would stop by here again in the future. I enjoyed my cappuccino and would be interested to try some of their pastries.

Went to get try the tiramisu latte is around $13.06 .. very expensive for a coffee drink!! Drink is not bad very creamy .. Is just that the coffee flavor wasn't strong enough for me .. taste just like cream & water .. not worth $13

Really good cafe in nyc! I've been to a couple of locations now and the quality is always very solid. They also recently added a gluten free and vegan chocolate chip cookie to their menu and it's actually quite tasty!

Seven Grams Caffe is located in a nice upscale area of SoHo and very close to where I was staying on my recent trip to NYC! They have amazing vegan savoury/ sweet options as well as coffees. I got a Cortado and my friend got a pumpkin scone along with Americano. Everything was delicious and so rich! I see Vegan options on the menu, and that itself wins my heart, this place although won a lot more (vegan) brownie points with it's taste as well ;) It's a very small cafe with limited seating. I did spot a couple of people working from the caffe and enjoying their coffee on a gloomy work day. I wish I knew about this place sooner but will definitely visit again when I'm back in the city!

Stopped in for a pick-me-up and opted for an iced dirty chai. The drink was super solid and the employees were really friendly. Though I'm partial to the Chelsea location, this is a great option for the area!

The ambiance of this cafe is so nice, long tables with plenty of seating. I ordered a chai latte and the sizing is JUST right! They don't add too much ice either. The workers are so nice and patient. I'm also happy to know they have a bathroom (code required) to enter. 1000% will come back, definitely recommend for a quick and open lounge or a good place to study.

Stopped by to try the Dark Chocolate Coconut Cookie. I wasn't a big fan of it or the price. It tasted more healthy than I thought it would. The coconut offered some sweetness but I think the dark chocolate was a bit too intense. It costs close to $7, and the cookie isn't particularly large. Staff was speedy and they have indoor seating if you want to do a coffee chat with someone or do a little work inside.

Nice and convenient place for a good cup of Coffee. Tried the Iced Coffee and an Iced Mocha, both were very flavorful and nice. Good ambience and good people. Definitely coming back here again...

So cute. From the cups, to the interior, to the employees, this was such a well rounded experience. Would definitely come back!

This was a nice coffee shop right by our hotel located in South Village. You can either order with someone upfront or order your drink/food at the kiosk which was easy and convenient to use. They have a variety of pastries that looked good, but I didn't try and also coffee beans you can buy. This coffee shop has a nice cozy vibe to it and it's not very loud which is nice. I ordered a vanilla latte and it had a nice balance of vanilla and coffee. Would definitely come back here to try the pastries out next time I am in New York.

The matcha flavor came through nicely, while the green tangerine added a bright, citrusy flavor that made the drink incredibly refreshing. It was lightly sweet with a little fizz, and the dried citrus garnish was a nice touch. The customer service was also great. I had a few questions about the drinks, and they were enthusiastically answered, which I really appreciated. I'm always happy when a coffee shop has interesting options for us non-coffee drinkers, and this one definitely delivered. I'll be back and would absolutely order the Green Tangerine Matcha Ade again.

Ten Thousand is a Korean chain (three spots in Manhattan now, plus outposts in Taipei and LA) and…read moreeveryone comes for the einspanner. I don't drink coffee. So I went in for the Green Tangerine Matcha Ade, which is the drink they should be talking about more. The green tangerine is the Jeju cheonggyul thing, the unripe fruit picked before it sweetens, so you get a sharper, almost yuzu-adjacent bitterness instead of orange juice sweetness. That's the right call against matcha. Grassy tea, tart citrus, light sugar, actual carbonation that hadn't gone flat by the time I got to the bottom. The matcha stayed suspended too, which is harder than it sounds in soda water. Dried citrus wheel on top is a real garnish, not a sad afterthought. Staff were genuinely into it. I asked what grade of matcha they use and how it's built, and got straight answers with zero eye-rolling. Rare at a counter-service spot at 1410 Broadway, where most places are just moving the garment district lunch crowd through. It's eight bucks for a fizzy tea. That's steep, and the room is basically a lobby cafe with very little seating, so this is a grab-and-walk-to-Bryant-Park situation, not a linger. Still, if you're a tea person stuck in a coffee city, this is one of the better cold matcha drinks in Midtown right now. Better balanced than Kijitora's peach fizz, which leans sweet. Order it, skip the seating, don't expect quiet.

It happened to be 787 Coffee which I have visited plenty of times on the island and enjoy. With excitement and in Spanish I tell the cashier that I was happy to come across this place as I have tried them out in PR. How is it that this "jibara" apparently from Maricao, spoke to me in broken English while I am talking to her in our native language, total fail. Anyhow, I ordered the coquito hot latte with an extra shot of rum and oat milk, fine, I paid $11 for a very small coffee. Now what I can't believe is that the quesito pastry was $8. I really wanted it but it was not until I paid that I then noticed the price. I sat to eat it while I waited for my name to be called as mentioned by the cashier. I walked around looking at everything, the music very loud and hard for people sitting to have conversations, the place is very colorful and with many PR sayings, however the place also feels very Americanized with the music and layout. I still awaited my name to be called minutes later, but nothing. I approached the cashier, who was just standing there, to ask about my coffee and she wasn't able to tell me so she asked the barista steps away from her. He pointed to a cofre sitting on their counter, it had my name, and when I pointed out that I was waiting for my name to be called, she shrugged her shoulders and smiled like she didn't care. The coffee by now was not all that hot, I never tasted any rum or coquito flavor and felt I wasted my time at this place. What's more upsetting is that I left a nice tip for a service that was not provided. They couldn't even bring the coffee ti my table once they realized it was sitting there and they forgot to call my name. You can find better service elsewhere.
