I stopped by this liquor store or mini market today when I was waiting for my food at the place in the same plaza. I came here to get some chocolate. I wanted a crunch chocolate bar and couldn't find it in the aisle. The person working today told me the chocolate would be next to the counter. I didn't find any crunch so I had to settle for twixs. They have a minimum amount to use credit card here before getting charge a fee so be aware of that. A lot of the items didn't have a price tag on it, so be aware that you'll likely be paying more for a lot of the items here. This store is not that big inside and the plaza this store is in do not have a lot of parking spots. They also don't allow pets inside so be aware of that. read more

The lady who works here is always ripping everyone off and takes advantage of those who don't notice. All the other employees here scan every item but not her! She picks and chooses what she wants to scan and what she wants to over charge by typing in her own price. I always tell her and she says no the register is correct. Every time she does this I tell her to delete everything and to start again but only scanning, and of course my total is always lower. She tries to overcharge anywhere from $5-$10 to my total. A lot of people don't notice and if they do they are too intimidated by her to say anything or it's too late they already left. She knows I always say something but she still tries to scam me if she sees I'm not looking or occupied with my kids. I also noticed her overcharging a customer ahead of me by like $13 since she was paying with ebt. This lady is straight scamming the government!!!!! I've notice she asks certain people "are you paying with ebt or cash?" The other workers here are all gentleman, very nice, always helpful and never try to overcharge me. The only reason I continue to come here is because I live across the street and I don't feel like driving somewhere else as it's always late at night. read more

The people who work at this liquor store overcharge and are very discriminatory with it. Also watch out when using your card they will try to charge you 3-4 dollars extra if you're not looking. I recommend just saving your money and going somewhere else, i've been here multiple times (only place within walking distance in the summer) and i've always walked out feeling like i spent 10-15 extra than what i should've. I love this liquor store! They have just about everything soap, detergent, groceries and anything might need that you forgot at the grocery store. The workers are very friendly and always remember their customers. They do close a little early but they have excellent prices on liquor and their tobacco as well. First off, none of the employees are wearing masks. I should have walked straight out. Then when I went up to pay for my 5 waters the man behind the counter asked if I was paying with cash or card. I told him card. I put the card into the reader and the price jumped up. I asked him if he changed the price and he said that he charged $.75 because I used my card. I told him that I'd rather pay with cash since I thought $.75 was a lot. He told me that "everyone does it for things under $10". I told him that was not true, and that I'd rather have a refund and pay with cash. He said that he didn't know how to that I'll have to come back tomorrow. I told him that I do not live in the area and cannot make it back tomorrow. He said there was nothing he could do. I told him that he needs to tell people that there's a $.75 charge or at least have a sign up! Watch for extra charges that they don't tell you about. read more

The store has an ample supply and prices are expected for this type of stores, however, I've been coming here for the last 4 years since I live around the corner and during this time I've had had 2 times to request a review of my total balance after being charged by the elderly lady who acts like doesn't want to be there and both times she had to fix my overcharged bill claiming she is tired or doesn't know what happened. They also charge your VISA/ MasterCard if you don't spend more than $5.00, which is against the fair business practices. I have to say the young man working there is always kind and attentive to our needs. Today I have asked the LSU to please check her attitude towards me and not throw the change or get upset if I ask why is my bill being charged extra and she simply blew on me. I hope this review gets to the right person to improve the buying experience here it's always nice to have a mini market around the corner. read more

the ELDER WOMAN who works there is the WORST !!! i've been living around the neighborhood for about a year and a half now and i will go to this liquor every now and they have always had a great experience with the guys who work there, but a few months ago the elder lady started to help me out and she's always very rude and always charges more than any of the guys have, i'll usually buy gatorade because of their deal 2 for $5 and anytime the lady charges me she will make me pay up to $7 or $8 which is outrageous i confronted her once about it because when the guys help me they will charge $5.30 never $8 and she said that because of taxes it's that much but i really don't buy that, another time i went she claimed my card wasn't going through when it clearly was bc i got the message from my bank but she started yelling at me and being so rude, i only go in now when it's only the guys bc that lady is a bitch read more

Plexiglass hanging over counter is essentially nothing in terms of COVID-19 protection. She acts like she's doing you a favor when indeed it's the opposite, you have a business because we buy things from your store. She's always rude, I don't know what her issue is, it's funny to see how many comments are about her attitude, but it's really true. They also have everything overpriced and things are also expired, always check the expiration dates. I learned that the hard way. Everything! DO NOT SHOP HERE!!! YOU WILL GET SICK! This store sells spoiled drinks and food. My family has gotten sick only when I have given them items bought from seven kings. Coincidence? NO! The micheladas we have bought there gave my husband and I horrid food poisoning. Recently their milk gave our kids food poisoning.! I stopped going there for a year then gave them one other chance when I was in need of milk for my kids -and they got very very sick. I know it was their milk because only my kids had milk from there for breakfast. The whole family had the same meal and only the kids got sick.They are leaving food and drink out and wait hours to store it! I made sure to smell the milk due to my previous experience. However milk doesn't have to smell sour to be spoiled- that's why they get away with selling it! They do not store anything at the required temperature.
