This place is still such a gem in Riverwest! They're cranking out delicious food and drinks and it's a must-visit. I love the unique seasonal drinks they have and usually get one of those. Also check out the cute little area where they sell cards, pens, hair clips, and other gifty things.

I've walked past Seven Swans Creperie several times and finally got a chance to stop by this weekend. I love how cozy and cute the interior is (I didn't get to take a photo of the patchwork wall, but it is adorable). Ordering is easy as you order at the front and seat yourself after getting a number for your table. They have a ton of fun flavors for their sweet and savory crepes. They also have a vegan menu, bakery items, and seasonal coffee drinks as well! We ordered the cherry cobbler crepe and the chicken pot pie crepe! Both were super delicious, and the perfect size to share. I also ordered a orange clove latte as well, which was perfect for the cold weather! The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming! Overall, it was a great experience and I definitely want to come back soon! Also, it does get busy in the morning, so I highly recommend coming right when they open :-)

I love Seven Swans! The food is amazing so many different varieties of crepes savory and sweet. Something for all your taste buds. The lattes are also top notch! Also seasonal flavors. I really enjoy the vibe, very artsy

I'm still fairly new to the area and always looking for fantastic food anywhere I go. One of the things I've missed about my hometown since I relocated is a crepe shop and...this place knocks my hometown's spot (sod dr) out of the water. When you walk in, you grab a menu and order, receive a table number for your order, and pick your own seating. I ordered a Sweet Potato Latte that was on special and it was AMAZING. And for eats, I had the Campfire crepe. 10/10 recommend and look forward to coming back. The waitstaff as a whole were SO friendly as well. Definitely makes the place one you want to return to.

Service is top-notch and the food quite tasty. We frequent the establishment weekly, after climbing at the near-by Adventure Rock (North Avenue). Have never been disappointed.

Crepes were super delicious. Also had the lavender tart which I could have eaten 10 of but I had to pace myself. Latte was delicious as well. Fast service and cute decor.

This place is a hidden gem - at least it was, before supposedly going viral on TikTok a few weeks ago, leading to a Sunday brunch rush in the late morning. The secret is to go right when they open or around 12:30/1PM. Service: You order at the counter, then find a seat in their dining space all on your own. Frankly, this is a very smooth experience and preferred to having someone interrupting your meal every 5 minutes to wait on you. If that's not your jam, that's alright. Coffee: One of the best restaurant chai lattes (aka not from a stand alone coffee shop) - owed to the spices and masterful layer of microfoam. Their espresso is smooth and balanced, and they have an impressive menu of coffee and tea that changes seasonally. Ambience: Think up north antique grandma's house - their dining space is a rescued collection of eclectic pieces of furniture. It's cozy, inviting, and warm, thanks to an ample amount of wood and deep greens. Their space feels like a warm hug. Food: The heart of the matter - their crepes are exceptional. I've tried their savory crepes, which are good and have a generous portion of filling, as well as their sweet crepes with fruit, Nutella, etc. But much like vanilla ice cream, I judge any food spot on their ability to deliver on their most basic menu item. Where Seven Swan's shines is their plain crepe (Dad's Skinny Pancake).

    - good food, great service, warm ambiance - no reservation can be made - would love to come back! Checked this place out with my girlfriend as its been on my list for a while and seeing a recent instagram post from them! They offered some good sweet and savory crêpes, good service from their kind staff, and a cozy environment throughout the restaurant. For my crêpe, I got the Forest crêpe for a savory start to the day. The crêpe itself was nice and soft and buttery, and not inherently sweet, so it allowed the savoriness to shine and not be mixed with a weird sweet flavor. The bacon was in nice big pieces and its saltiness was able to be tasted with each bite. For some additional flavor, the garlic parmesan sauce worked complementary to add some extra salt without the meaty flavor. Mellowing out the strong flavors from the bacon and parmesan, the spinach and mushrooms offered a softer texture and helped to disperse anything extra to balance the dish and prevent it from feeling heavy. For my drink, I got the Golden Milk Latte. This was unfortunately really not my cup of tea. I honestly cannot remember much about the flavor as I was surprised with the amount of "debris" in my drink from the additional spices and turmeric. It felt like I was drinking straight out of a tea bag. I imagine this was for some healing properties if sick, but I would think I could get the same effects without having to experience all the grit in my mouth. My girlfriend got the Paris crêpe to have a nice sweet treat for the day (without bananas). This crêpe was nice and soft and not overly sweet with all of its toppings. There were plenty of strawberries and nutella throughout, but it never felt too much. There were plenty of almond slices on top, so maybe that helped to cut through and prevent it from being overly sweet. Overall a solid crêpe that has me wanting to try their other sweet crêpes! For her drink, she got the Peppermint Latte (seasonal). The drink itself was pretty strong and powerful, but the cream on top helped to balance out the bitterness. It had some good peppermint flavor, but given the holidays, I think personally would have liked to see this option more as a peppermint hot cocoa... still good for the cold winter day! This place offered some good food and was pretty busy despite seeing an earlier post discussing slow business. Of course, days vary, and we went on a saturday morning, but it was good to see that they were busy! We had been told food would take ~1 hr, but it came out a lot quicker, so that was good to see considering the crowd. It is all self-seating, and the staff was very friendly and notified us to just let us know if they needed anything to be cleaned. The space itself was quite cozy and even had a few trinkets on sale from local artists. Alongside the warm interior, they also have an outdoor area that I would imagine is just as welcoming! It was good to see they were busy and I hope it continues through the new year so I can come back when it is warmer and see new items on the seasonal menu and sit in their outdoor area!

Every time I have come here have enjoyed anything I've ordered. They have really good baked goods as well. Extremely friendly staff and love the ambiance! One of my favorite breakfast spots in Milwaukee.

Visited again and had another GREAT experience! Tried the farmers market crepe, the seasonal lemon blueberry, and the Italian crepe. I still think the KC is the best but it was all so delicious! I also want to take a moment and thank our cashier. I didn't get their name but they had short, ginger, curly hair and they were the BEST! Great vibes, recommendations, and chit chat!! GIVE THEM A RAISE IMMEDIATELY :)

Highlights 1) Amazing Food 2) Cute Vibe 3) Gluten-Friendly* Can't believe I waited this long to try Seven Swans! This is a perfect, cozy spot for weekend breakfast. We visited at around 11am on Sunday. The restaurant is order at the counter, then find a table style so no reservations. It was packed when we got there so we did have to put our order in and then wait about 10 minutes for a table to open up. It's a little cut throat for a table it seems so this may not be your best option if you have a really big group and are coming at a peak time. There were a ton of different crepe and specialty coffee drink options. They have sweet, savory and tons of gluten-friendly crepes. I did the "Frenchie" which had caramelized onions and gruyere cheese. It was bursting with flavor and perfectly portioned. Can't wait to come back! * Not sure on the status of a shared kitchen but the staff was aware of gluten-friendly items and the menu is clearly labeled. As always, if you have specific needs, call ahead or reach out to the restaurant.

I went to Seven Swans Creperie with two friends on a Saturday around 11AM. My first impression was that I loved the colors on the outside and inside of the building. Warm, colorful, bright, and comforting. It totally reminded me of a mix between an old school diner, Pinterest, and my granny's house! I mean all of that in a very positive way. Very cute! This restaurant doesn't take reservations, however, we found seats quickly. When I first walked in, I felt slightly overwhelmed, but they have great signage regarding how the process works and the staff was very friendly! When you arrive: grab a menu, find a seat, review the menu, then place your food and drink order at the counter. You're given a number for your table and everything is brought out to you. You pay prior to receiving your order. They also have a self-serve coffee station or you can order coffee drinks at the counter. The menu offers a great variety of sweet and savory crepes, including vegan options. They also have a dog-friendly patio, which I'm looking forward to enjoying in the summer.

What an absolute gem in Riverwest! Delicious, inviting, and bright atmosphere inside. The crêpes are filling, especially the savory ones. We tried a sweet and savory crepe - the Paris and Frenchie. Both were amazing, they don't skimp on the fillings and the texture is perfect. I like the casual vibe: You order at the counter and they bring out your food. Cheerful, helpful staff and everything came out as it should. The vibes are that of your grandmothers farmhouse; loved the eclectic wallpaper and cozy patio. Great to have a breakfast spot that specializes in crepes and fills a welcomed niche in the Milwaukee brunch scene. 100% recommend this place for a really tasty breakfast.

However, I cut it right down the middle to get that runny egg yolk and where want one ...? There wasn't an egg. It seemed like it rest a scoop of maybe farmers cheese or something like that. I didn't say anything because I thought I misread the description. I looked later and realized it should have had a poached egg. Ugh. I did miss that a lot. Main reason for taking off a star - dish not made correctly. The rest of it was very good. The potatoes delish are usual. My cousin had the herb omelette with ham, the potatoes and side of pancakes. She enjoyed it and took half home for breakfast tomorrow, unless her husband finds it first. Of course we will be back to try other things in the menu. It's a really great place for brunch/lunch.
