    Mediterranean omelet

I came here to meet a former business friend and associate for breakfast. I arrived early and was seated in a conspicuous spot to meet my friend. Eric, my server approached and asked it I wanted coffee, while bringing water and utensils. My friend showed up, he ordered coffee and we began to catch up with our lives. Eric came by a bit later and we ordered our food and off he went to get the kitchen staff stared on our choices. A short time later, our Mediterranean omelet and biscuits and gravy with eggs and each being a Coby three pancakes arrived. It was tasty and ample servings for each of us, with me taking the pancakes home to enjoy later . Eric was on top of things, refilling coffee and being pleasant and attentive.

This Original Pancake House is a well-oiled machine with awesome breakfast foods and veteran servers. I enjoyed a blueberry waffle, which was deliciously light and bursting with fresh blueberries. It was served with blueberry syrup and a huge dollop of real whipped cream. Heavenly! My dining partner was guided by our server to order a pancake and egg combo. She was so knowledgeable and patient. Our food was delivered in record time. Love this place!

Today's brunch adventure took us here. The place is very popular and there can be a bit of a wait. The food was Devine. My waffle has bits of apples stuffed inside and they gave me apple flavored syrup to top it with. The bacon is thick and crispy just like how I like it and my loaded potatoes were so filling I couldn't finish them all. The highlight was the apple pancake and it was humongous! That feed your whole table LOL. It as delicious it tasted like a Dutch apple pie. The service is fast and friendly. We didn't have to wait too long once we were situated. The ambiance of the restaurant is typical for a brunch spot on the weekends.

The Original Pancake House is one of my favorite go to breakfast places. I really appreciate that they utilize fresh ingredients such as fresh squeezed Oj and pancakes from scratch. They have such a cozy atmosphere and each time I've dined in, staff has been kind, attentive and efficient- especially on weekends when they get busy! If going on a weekend, i'd recommend getting there a tad earlier as wait times can get long, just fyi. My menu favorites include coffee, oj, bacon, and the fruit pancakes which are served with fresh whipped cream nanas, strawberries, and strawberry syrup. Would recommend, especially if you have a sweet tooth! Overall, I would recommend stopping here if you're looking for a fresh breakfast with a lot of menu variety!

The Original Pancake never disappoints. We arrived before 8am on this particular Saturday so we didn't have to wait for a table. If we have waited another hour, the wait would have been crazy. After we were seated, our server came quickly and brought us our drinks. The coffee is always delicious. I ordered the breakfast burrito. The chorizo packed some nice heat, which I really appreciated. The avocado spread offset the spicy chorizo perfectly, while the potatoes added the crunchy component the plate needed. It had been a few years since I had been here but I'm happy to see it's as reliable as ever.

This spot is one of my parents' favorites and they have unbeatable crepes. I've seen more GF options on the menu which is cool, but I'd love to see more dairy free options or dairy alternatives on the menu in the future. The service was great and it was a very neighborhood/locals kind of vibe inside. Always happy to grab brunch here when I visit.

So we went to the original pancake house last weekend in Cincinnati & definitely had to try it again this weekend. Let me just say, it was delicious & definitely made me search to see if they have some in my area too! (Which they do! have 3 locations in Indy! Nice!) Josh was the best server, he was hilarious & kept everything full & fresh! The place has a lot of booths, but does have some tables as well, we requested a table cause booths just aren't as comfortable for us & we waited a few minutes, but it was worth the wait! I got the apple pancake & it was good, but too big to eat it all. Which is a good thing, my friend got the corn beef hash, she said it was delicious! Definitely a great place to try!

Service at atmosphere lovely. However I was seated by a qindow that had a few dead fruit flies and the toast my wife ordered was hardly toasted. Other than that; nice place

First visit with a party of five to this restaurant in 2026. Sunday morning for brunch, just a short wait of 15 minutes in a busy establishment. Service was quick, friendly and accommodating. We sat in a booth near the front door but didn't notice any drafts or crowding from waiting customers. We ordered a variety of dishes to include silver dollar pancakes, Dutch baby, Swedish pancakes, ham and cheese omelette, eggs with biscuits and gravy, stuffed crepes. Sides included orange juice, buttermilk pancakes and a fountain drink. All servings were served on china, with stainless silverware and cloth napkins. All servings came quickly, were hot and large, worth the price. Everyone enjoyed their food with only two comments for improvement, one being the biscuits were too thick for the amount of gravy served and the Dutch baby was a bit undercooked. Aluminum containers were provided for leftovers, which warmed up nicely. There are several pancake restaurants in the area, this one scores as one of the best. Our bill including tax and gratuity came to $127.15.

I've always been a big fan of OHOP, but this is one of my favorites and we always go to it whenever we visit Milwaukee. Love the old house vibe in the outside and inside and the service is always friendly and fast. Food is great and huge portions which makes up for the bill being more than I'm used to for breakfast. I nearly always get the French toast and the bacon is the best bacon you'll have at any breakfast place. My son ordered the potato pancakes and everyone loved them.

This place is horrible from the out dated establishment to the nasty ass food!! The service is even more unprofessional. Once I informed my server of my experience she sent over the manager named Amy. Amy's approach was extremely nasty and uncalled for. Amy is the most ugliest unprofessional representation of her staff. This is my first and last time. I could have went to IHOP!!

    Do they serve hash browns?

    No, the serve country potatoes

Is there a waitlist or can you call ahead?

Unfortunately there is nothing available over the phone. You have to physically come in and put your name on the waitlist. You can however call and ask how long the wait is.

Can anyone tell me what brand of sharp/aged cheddar is used here? I love it and want to find it for myself.

Do you guys have a volunteer service in the Brookfield location?

    Unfortunately we do not.

I like to try something a little different, so I ordered the Avocado Toast with Eggs. I requested my eggs over easy, and they came out perfectly cooked. For my side, I chose the hash browns instead of the fruit. I asked for them to be extra crispy, and in hindsight, I should have asked for them to be extra-extra crispy. They were still very good. Service: We arrived right as they opened, so there were only a few occupied tables. We were seated immediately. Our server did a great job getting us settled in, gave us plenty of time to look over the menu, and never made us feel rushed. The service was friendly, attentive, and efficient throughout our meal. Atmosphere: The restaurant has a welcoming feel. Large windows fill the dining room with natural light, and the tables and booths provide plenty of space. The noise level was low enough to enjoy a quiet conversation. I also liked how they used wood posts and beams to break up the large dining room, making it feel more intimate. Nice touch. Overall, it was a solid breakfast experience. I'd love to see a few more inventive daily specials to complement the menu.

It's a busy place so we had to wait about 10 minutes on a Saturday morning, but I was OK with it. The building itself is pretty good sized. They have a couple of different rooms with lots of tables and booths. They also have some tables outside to wait at, but I'm not sure if they have an actual outdoor patio to eat at. The service was great and everyone was friendly. They all definitely work well as a team. I started out with just a plain black coffee. They also have iced coffees and Frappuccino type coffees. I believe they have juices and can even make some cocktails like mimosas. They did offer me sugar and cream with my coffee, but I just like my coffee black so that's how I ordered it. For my entrée, I ordered the village omelette and added gyro. It comes with spinach, tomatoes, and feta so the gyro meat sounded delightful in it. It also came with a choice of side, and I opted for fresh fruit. And then finally, you can choose between pancakes or toast. I went with plain sourdough toast. Everything was great and super fresh. The omelette was filling and well-made. They have a gyro sandwich and based on that omelette, I would definitely get the sandwich. The meat was tender and flavorful. And the feta gave the perfect little salty tang. I actually want to re-create the omelette that I had there here in Kansas City because it was so so good. The fruit was fresh and was mainly just honeydew and cantaloupe. And the toast was a perfect vehicle for some of the omelette to my mouth. Overall, I loved this brunch spot. If I lived in the area, I would go pretty regularly. If you are up north in Wisconsin stop in and check them out because you will not be disappointed.

The food is always delicious, the service is truly impeccable with well trained, friendly servers, and it's very clean and homey. I had an egg special, and my choices included two (perfectly cooked) poached eggs, three crisp on the outside sausages, a well balanced fruit bowl with fresh pineapple, melons, and grapes, and a short stack of their light and fluffy pancakes. My husband had over easy eggs, bacon, pancakes and fruit, plus we both had The Coop's rich, deeply flavorful coffee. Everything was excellent and at a most affordable price. Fast forward several hours: my daughter and her young sons were in the area on an errand, so we met up and of course the boys were hungry, so as The Coop was, once again, very close, we went there. My daughter was very happy to see decidedly different menu options for kids' meals than the usual. Two of them had grilled cheese sandwiches with fruit cups, the third had a scrambled egg, sausage, a pancake and fruit, my daughter had French toast, and I had two cheeseburger sliders with fries. Everyone loved their food and the atmosphere, and they all want to go back. Two great experiences in one day!

The manager made an effort to make things right for my family and me, and I appreciated that. Because of that, I decided to give the restaurant another chance, and the service was better overall. However, there was still a significant communication issue regarding the complimentary meals. Our waitress told us that the manager would be comping three meals, which was completely fine since I had brought my daughter with me this time. She asked who the three meals were for and pointed to my fiancé, my mom, and me. I confirmed that was correct. However, when we received the receipt, my mom's meal had been charged. My fiancé ended up paying for it, which I appreciated, but the situation was frustrating and could have easily been avoided with better communication. Unfortunately, we also had the same waitress who had served us during our previous visit. I understood that she was having her first day during our earlier experience, so I tried to be patient and give her another opportunity. This time, though, her attitude felt noticeably different, and I couldn't help but feel that it may have been because I had previously complained about the service. There were several issues during our meal the first time we came (the time before this last visit) We waited approximately 5-10 minutes for water, and my fiancé's pancakes arrived extremely late--he had already finished his main course by the time they were brought to the table. Unfortunately, the pancakes were also not good by the time they arrived. And my smoothie didn't come til I had to ask multiple times. I genuinely wanted to give this restaurant another chance because I still love the food, and I appreciate that the manager previously tried to make things right. However, between the repeated service issues, the lack of communication regarding the complimentary meals, and the uncomfortable experience with the waitress, I don't feel comfortable returning to this location. I will continue enjoying the food, but from now on, I will be visiting the West Allis location instead. I hope the management takes this feedback seriously, because the restaurant has great food, but the service and communication need significant improvement.

I saw a picture of their breakfast burrito on social media and made plans to stop the next day. In addition to the breakfast burrito, which came with a side of hash browns, I ordered cheddar broccoli soup and was gifted a brownie for visiting. The breakfast burrito is build your own with a bunch of different options for meats, cheese, and veggies. I went with bacon, American cheese, and spinach and wasn't disappointed. The burrito was hefty and every one of the ingredients stood out. This is something I would definitely come back for. The three hash brown patties tasted as you'd expect and I appreciate that they weren't cold in the middle or bland. You can definitely notice the freshness in the soup. It was thick and used actual florets of broccoli, not just the stalks. Given the size of the burrito I had just eaten, though, I wish there was an option for a smaller portion of soup. The bowl was large and if you just plan on having that as a meal it's fine, but I would have preferred buying a cup as compared to a large bowl. Hopefully that's something they consider as a menu tweak. I'm not a big brownie person, but I enjoyed it. Like the burrito and the soup, it was a sizable portion, so worth the price if you're buying one. I'd be interested in trying their lemon bar or coffee cake on a future visit as those are more up my alley. I enjoyed talking to the woman who was prepping the dining area while I was there. She mentioned that Senor Luna's next door is their sister location and that Miss Daisy's has such early hours (currently 5am during the week) so as to cater to the nearby business park. I appreciate the early hours because I can easily make it there and back over to where I work in plenty of time.
