While visiting family for the Thanksgiving Holidays, we stopped in at this establishment! I have never seen such a high tech bowling venue. We got there at around 7 PM, had a fantastic Pizza and mixed drinks. The french fries were amazing! Some of the lanes were being used by a league, we bowled, and around 9PM, half of the lanes had the black lights. Pretty cool! So you had the option. I really had a great time, the staff was very accomadating, especially the manager who greeted us! I would definitely visit when we go back again! read more

While the interior is nice the service was disorganized and the manager was not friendly. The two servers were running around in a panic from lack of help. I ordered some food and it took 45 minutes to receive even after multiple inquires and it was still wrong. The server told me that the manager did not want to speak with me. Regardless, when I did corner the manager he was unfriendly and abrupt stating that he would only give me 20% off my ticket and I should have sent the food back if it was wrong... why would I do such a thing after waiting 45 minutes..I did not eat it, but picked the cheese off to give to my kid. Have been here a few times but this time will likely be the last time for 5 people it was almost 90 bucks for 2 hours absolutely atrocious pricing just absurd then we got a drink which was Mountain Dew in a pitcher and a refill of it not knowing how much it was they didn't tell us we go to pay when we leave turns out it cost us 20$ for 2 small freaking pitchers I almost wanted to fight um such a scam in every single way... they must be losing business though which is good because the past 3 times it was completely dead this place is a joke management aught to be a shamed of themselves read more

Our family went to Seven Ten on Christmas Day, and were generally very impressed. We have lived in upscale neighborhoods up and down the East Coast and finding ourselves in Hagerstown (which is the opposite of upscale in every imaginable way) we were skeptical about trying Seven Ten. I have to say that we were very impressed and relieved. Our first impressions were that it was very nicely appointed, the decor is a nice departure from what you generally see around here and the staff was very attentive. When we were escorted to our reserved lanes, our table was dirty- an oversight that I feel was avoidable as we had reserved our lane on-line and someone should have checked to make sure the area was presentable before our arrival. Our server cleaned the table immediately, which was good, but it would have been better to have had the area clean when we got there. Aside from that, we had a wonderful time, we bowled, played pool and visited the arcade. Everything else was clean, our needs were met, and the food was absolutely delicious! The full service bar was nicely appointed and the staff was very attentive. Our family of 5 was able to enjoy a nice outing in an environment that is more along the lines to what we are used to, for less than $200. I think this represents a step in the right direction in bringing "swank" to Hagerstown and I hope that it will continue to improve. We are looking forward to returning for our next family outing. read more

Let me start with my qualifications in writing this review.....I have worked at many of the countries top restaurants, but I started at the bottom working for mom and pop corners pubs and diners. I worked my way up from the bottom and am now a very well known chef and critic in my area (Certified Culinarian from Orlando Culinary Academy Le Cordon Bleu program. Diploma in excellence in Culinary arts from Franklin County Career and Technology Center). My last job before I where I am now was lead production supervisor in the production bakery at Universal Studios in Orlando, FL. Tonight. A group of friends and I all went to Seven Ten bowling lanes in Hagerstown, MD. One of our friends reserved a lane for 6 PM (This is on a Saturday). When we arrived the place was civil and not busy. We were promptly greeted and given our lane. That is about the highlight of our experience. From there..it just went down hill. The seating at the lanes does not provide enough space for any more than 3 people. We had a group of 5. I found myself standing during most of the night. The lanes manager does not control how many balls are on the floor. No one took their bowling balls back so our ball return was overflowing and sometimes when balls were returned it would knock other ones off of the hold and you would have 11 lb balls hitting the floor and rolling around so you would have to chase after them. When our server greeted us she provided 3 of our 5 drink orders. She then said she would return with straws. 30 minutes later I had to track her down and ask about the straws and my friends drinks. 30 minutes after that the server asked for our orders. All but one of us placed an order. I received my brick oven pizza about 45 minutes after I place my order. The next order came out 20 minutes after that along with my appetizer of Spinach artichoke dip (this was supposed to come out way before my pizza). My friends husbands sandwich NEVER came! Anytime we asked for a refill we were snubbed off and told they were too busy!!!! At one point one in our group asked if she could get a refill in Iced tea and the waitress agreed but never got it. My guess was to be a smart ass. When we went to leave we hadn't seen our waitress in 20 minutes. Some guy though had the nerve to see us putting our coats on and run up to ask if we had paid our checks. I paid my check....but in the tip line, I wrote......"Worst service I have ever had in my life". Lets talk about the food. Pizza, it tasted like it could have been good. If it wasn't for the fact that it was burnt. Spinach artichoke dip...way too expensive for the very small amount that you get. Plus my "Toasted baguette" was actually "Burnt stale french loaf" I could have broken a tooth easily. My friends told me that their burger buns were hard and their fries tasted like they were cooked in old oil. Some reviews state that the Chef is rumored to have been from Aqua 103. If that's true...I see why he isn't there anymore. Aqua 103 plans on staying business. Management.....careless and they don't care about your business. After 1 game that lasted 20 minutes. (Yes 20 minutes.....we hadn't even gotten our drinks yet) we all went up to pay for a second game....the management told us that we didn't reserve the lane long enough for a second game. After explaining that we hadn't even gotten our food yet. They reluctantly let us PAY for a second game. After the 2 bowler in the 8th frame. The game froze and told us that we had timed out. They refused to turn it back on. Only after one of our sassy friends got in their face explaining that we paid for ten frames and she wasn't leaving until they turned it back on, did they fix it. Overall, your guaranteed a better time watching paint dry. Save your money from this overpriced kick in the face of a bowling alley. Go to the places that have been in business for years and know what they are doing. No reason you should be paying 7.50 per person per game. and 18 bucks for burnt pizza. read more

This was our first visit. It was was a very nice place. Great potential but absolutely terrible service. I will not be back, even for $2.50 games. I would rather pay full price else where and get good service. Every employee had a terrible attitude. Drinks were all very poor quality considering the high price. We will never return. We should have known when we pulled in and we were the only car in the parking lot. read more

Very disappointed! Staff at front desk was very nasty and rude. We got there at 6pm and asked for 2 lanes and was told we could only have one because we did not have reservations. They had plenty lanes opened but claimed they were reserved. A large group of 8 came in after us and got the 2 lanes to the left of us WITHOUT having reservations and then a couple came in and got the lane to the right of us WITHOUT reservations. When we brought it to the attention of the staff at the front desk, they lied and said they had made reservations but the people had already told us they just walk-in without reservations. Both girls working the front desk have a real bad attitude. They do not know how to provide good customer service! We will never return and will make sure our friends and family do not spend their money there. read more

Seven Ten is an upscale bowling venue that features gourmet food and good drinks. It has the feel of a dance club with decent music blasting as you walk up to the door, the lights down low and music videos playing on screens that stretch across the lanes. They were also broadcasting a college football game on alternating screens the Friday night we were there. The interior design is very nicely done...cool and modern (Everything is clean and gleaming and you can smell the new construction). The bowling pits have sofas and coffee tables to make for a nice conversation area between frames. Wait staff can be summoned by a button on the scoring console but they also check in frequently to see if you need any more drinks or food. There are tables for eating and visiting if you're not bowling. And they have 3 pool tables and a large room of video games. The bowling shoes and balls are all brand new. I hear that the head chef used to be with Aqua 103. I believe it, as the food is really good. I thought the mixed drinks were interesting. Cost-wise, the bowling, shoe rental and ball rental are much more than you would pay at a traditional bowling facility. It was $16 per person for two games. The food and drinks were all reasonably priced for what you get. Pool seemed highly priced at $20 per hour for a table. This place advertises itself as a premier family entertainment destination. We specifically went a little later in the evening in the hopes of not running in to any kids there. There were a couple kids way down from us, but the music was so loud that we couldn't hear them. They may do things differently during the day or in the earlier hours of the evening to appeal to families, but when we were there it had more of a dance club feel than a place for little kids to hang out. I suppose as long as there are video games, there can be kids. The crowd that we saw there by 11pm on a Friday was in the 20-something range. Apparently they have space on site for special events that can accommodate 250 people. I didn't see where that was located, but it is a large facility. We really had fun at this place, liked the vibe, enjoyed the attentive service and hope to go back again. read more

Near the end of the holiday season, my family wanted to get together for a fun night out of bowling. It happened to be a Monday night. I went to the website to see how I could make a reservation. Turns out that Monday nights are "Family Night". My brother called to inquire about this package which includes 1.5 hours of bowling, pizza, and soda for $40. We were super excited that we happened upon this serendipitous deal! So during the phone call, the employee describes the package to my brother, and then tells him he has to book it online. So he goes ahead and books two of these packages, since there were 7 of us. He had to put a down payment of half the price, so $40. We arrived excited that our last minute plan was working out so perfectly, only to have the front desk employee inform us that they "are not honoring the family package tonight". We informed him that we already spoke to someone on the phone and they told us to book online, we had already paid and everything. He said he understands, and that we were not the first customers to complain about this. He said I don't think we can do anything, but do you want to speak with a manager anyway? I said yes, please. He walks over to the man beside him, asks a question, and comes back to tell us again that he said "no". At this point, I was becoming angry, so I inquired, "Are you the manager, sir? Can you please come talk to us?" He proceeded to tell us there was nothing he could do and showed no signs of solicitude. He did not apologize or offer any suggestions on how to remedy the situation, then he went and hid in the closet and left the younger boy to deal with angry customers. We asked if we could have our money back and the boy told us he could only refund the money to a gift card. Of course, we did not want to come back to this place with such horrible customer service, so we decided we better just bowl and try not to let this man ruin our evening. For 6 people to partake in ONE game of bowling, the total came to around $70 (my grandmother decided not to bowl due to the expensive prices). No pizza, no soda. We bitterly grabbed our shoes and tried to enjoy our "family night". We do not fault the young boy, who was just doing as he was told. However, the manager's behavior was unacceptable, especially after falsely advertising. That is not how you treat customers. Needless to say, we will not be going back to Seven Ten. read more

Stopped in tonight to bowl a few games, what a nice place. It's beautiful inside, nice upscale environment, good music. We didn't eat but the menu had many choices that sounded great. Got a few drinks which were reasonably priced, good variety of beer on tap and a full bar. Bartender was awesome, easily one of the most customer oriented people we've encountered. We were pleasantly surprised and will be back, really nice place. read more

I have now been lied to and literally robbed at this so called bowling alley twice they say family friendly and I say they got that right as long as your family has no class or respect for each other this place takes the cake everything they claim to be is a lie and they are not shy to tell you they don't care and no you can not have a refund for the lanes you reserve and pay for I was told by owner I got my reservations it's just not me or my family bowling on them but thanks for the free money I should try again next week with my children beside me So please don't put your family in this illegally run money pit someone needs to shut it down and make the owner or whoever is in charge and treat them like the criminal that they are no way this is legal please let people you care about know what this place really is so it can stop read more

I've been here twice this month and both times the experience has been really good. Both nights we went on a Friday and surprisingly it wasn't too packed like i thought it would be. They had a special where you pay $25 to bowl all night (10pm-1:30am) and it covers the cost of bowling and shoes. It's a fairly decent price if all you are doing is bowling, however if you want drinks or food be sure to bring extra pocket money because the food and drink prices are kind of high (why im giving it 4 stars instead of 5). Very clean, new equipment, friendly staff although the bartender seems to disappear from her post a lot (not sure if its because she's helping other customers or not). I saw that they have an arcade and pool tables but I have yet to check those out. I believe they are also adding on a nightclub as well called Suite 710 based on what i've seen on their facebook. Should be completed later this year and I can't wait to check that out! read more

After seeing the ads in the Frederick Newspost about this new place in Hagerstown, I decided to take a look for myself. I was amazed at the facility, just walk through the front doors and you know that you are in for a fun filled night. Normally I am not a bowler nor is the group that I was with, but we had so much fun that we were there for hours. The music is great, the people are a blast and the food is excellent. Try the Bavarian Pretzels and dip you can't stop at just one! I talked to the Manager and staff there who are all so friendly and they told me that they do birthday parties and special events and that they can also do catered events for companies. I am so excited that something of this magnitude is here in the area. I will drive up to Hagerstown from Frederick soon to have another great night out with friends and family. read more

Just got back from taking my kids. This place is very different than any bowling house this side of Gaithersburg. I highly reccomend taking the family or even if for a adults night out for fun. It's well worth the ride.The overall look of the place is nice and just relaxing. Our waiter was awesome and super attentative and very good with the kids The arcade is top notch with all of the latest games. A definate plus for me as well. The kids and I had a blast, but can sometime be a distraction for them.Didn't try the food for the fact that we just ate before going there. Not a very well managed place, poor service from managment to ownership!!! Kinda creepy that the owners are always hanging out in the center just "watching" everyone. I felt as if I was home being watched by our parents, i witnessed them follow people around and that was uncomfortable. The manager seemed to not be able to make any decisions on his own and had to double check everything with the owner. wierd. This place is WAY to expensive just for an enjoyable night out. The arcade may be sizable however the games are way to much and outdated. $20.00 wasnt even enough to get a fair amount of games. The food is overpriced and definatley not "upscale" as advertised. The bar isnt really a bar, it looks to me as if it is just a service station for the servers to get there drinks? Very tiny and not much of a selection. I dont know what these people were thinking when this place was designed, I thought it was going to be more a friendly family atmosphere, however i think the "bowling" was just a out for other ideas, they tried to make it like a nightclub scene~ not cool when you have your kids there and they are exposed to volger videos and words very unconsiderate!!!!!!!! read more
