UPDATE AT BOTTOM. Only order from Sexy Pizza if you're ready to wait TWO HOURS for a barely hot pie! We were told it'd only be an hour, fast forward 45 minutes MORE and we are calling the store to check in - after saying their driver had just left and promising it'd be no more than "10mins tops" we got our pizza two hours later. There was one large pizza for four of us, and we're all still trying to figure out if the pizza was good or if we were just THAT hungry and stoned. AND the driver didn't even have Parmesan or crushed red pepper - which we requested when placi the order in the first place! Which comes to my point - I truly believe Sexy Pizza only continues to exist because of the Stoner and Hungry Colorado crowd they pull in. Please step your game up, you made a very angry customer! UPDATE: Kudos to Sexy Pizza for taking the time and effort to make this right. I was messaged ASAP from a manager, and from there was able to refund my order and try Sexy Pizza all over again. "Sexy" Pizza is a complete misnomer and in fact a complete turn off. A primary factor in our off-putting experience was the manager acting extremely rude and possibly sexist. In our group consisting of three guys and one girl, the only one not served was the girl who was called names I care not to repeat here. Insulted despite her megawatt smile and million-dollar personality. After being served our pizza by a coworker who was very kind and expressed regret, our lady friend was told to leave by the manager unceremoniously. Jefferson Park Sexy Pizza is amazing. We order it all the time and always have great service and food! I like to build my own pizza and my husband gets the Sexy Sheik. We love the cinnamon knots but sometimes they can be over cooked so it's a bit hit or miss but when cooked well the are fabulous!! read more

Sexy Pizza. It's kinda like getting a "C" in class. You passed, you're average, but you're not really happy about it. At nearly fifty bucks for two 16" pizzas, you're expecting straight "A's." Just didn't have any memorable flavor. The pizzas did arrive hot and quick, about a 1/2 hour after online ordering. Only issue with the delivery: I like to tip all service people in cash, it's a better deal for them. I indicated this option when placing the order, but a 15% tip got charged to my card anyway. Annoying. The lady that delivered was kind enough to be honest and say she got the tip when I asked her. Otherwise, I'd have tipped out twice that night. While we're rolling with some school analogies here, let's also compare this place to your college booty call. Gets the job done, but you only call them up when everybody else is closed. read more

I'll start this review by saying it was the first time in my life I threw away pizza. I mean... it's not hard to be a good pizza place right? You need to not mess up a pizza, and provide decent customer service. Well... Sexy Pizza, huge swing and a whiff! I read the poor reviews prior to ordering from Sexy Pizza, but it was getting late and I didn't want to brave the crowds of people at Hops & Pie. I mean, c'mon right, how bad can it be? The answer was surprisingly bad. I ordered my Sexy Sheikh around 6PM for pickup, and was told the pizza would be ready in about 15 minutes. I get held up getting groceries and show up at Sexy Pizza around 6:45 and my pizza isn't ready yet. I finally get my pizza and check my receipt: Call in time: 6:03PM - Time stamp on the receipt was 7:06PM. This pizza took over an hour to make? Wow, this thing must be some delicately hand crafted masterpiece to honor the Pizza Gods right? I took my pizza home and my disappointment only grew. The entire underside of the crust was black and the edges were bubbly. Now, I enjoy a nice crust bubble, don't get me wrong, but when the entire crust is bubbles and the bottom is charred, it's just tough and terrible tasting. I'm not even mad at this point, I'm actually pretty impressed. The pizza ended up being so bad that I threw it away after a few slices. 1/10 will get frozen pizza next time. read more

Full disclosure: I live next door. On my first visit to Sexy Pizza, Justin was nice enough to give me a 'welcome to the neighborhood' discount (after having explained I just moved in next door). On another occasion, I was able to speak with Kyle, the owner, as he was serving beer at a street festival that he and their other Jefferson Park vendors at 25th & Eliot had put on. Between the warm welcome in the shop and the community contribution -- I would have to say that I love this place. Great beer selection, nice employees, good food. Glad to have them. read more

So after ordering from SP a few times I can say the pizza is not bad. New York style.....yes. Amazing...not necessarily. This is a good pie. Straight up cheese pie is not an easy thing to pull off. These guys can do it. Thin, chewy crust and high quality toppings. Price is fair. The delivery times have always been met with what was promised. The food itself was pretty good. The online ordering process was not. It does not give you the opportunity to edit anything that you order. For example, the boyfriend and I got a "family special" that included a large pizza (HUGE is more like it), salad, garlic knots, and two sodas. No where did it give us the option to change or omit what came on the salad. I tried to add "no olives on salad" into the line where it asked for my name but that didn't work. It also did not give us a deliver estimate. It just said "times vary based on how busy we are". So it took just over an hour ordering at 6:15 on a Saturday night. The garlic knots had extra garlic butter floating around in the container, which I loved! If we order again, we'll probably just call to make sure everything is done correctly. We also will be sure not to order when we're starving since we'll never have any idea how long before the food will get to us. read more

It was light and flakey and didn't have that weird taste that most gf crusts have... I mean, you can always tell, which can sometimes be disappointing. But this was absolutely delicious.
