Great eye doctor! Will be coming here for as long as they do business. Recently transferred to this practice when my previous eye doctor closed their doors without notice. It was actually an emergency and I wasn't even a patient at the time, but I called and they fit me in right then and there. I needed to have an eye exam for work done last minute. And i mean really last minute. I called on a Tuesday with and impending nor' On Wednesday and the friendly staff made an appointment for me (AND KEPT IT!). Not only did they fit me in during a snow storm but they called me twenty minutes after i made the initial appointment to let me know they had an opening that day! Dr. Tzepos and his office are amazing. Helpful and friendly staff and amazing service. I walked in on a Friday and was scheduled for a Wednesday easily. The doc is very thorough and explains everything as he goes I was very comfortable in the office as the staff is also friendly and talkative. My insurance was fully explained to me as to what would be covered and what would not and a breakdown of what I was paying and why was given. I opted for contacts and Dr. Tzepos explained the cost and what options were best for me. I have in the past ordered contacts through 1800 contacts and other means and for a year supply I payed a good amount less then I normally do. Dr. Tzepos and his staff are wonderful. I have been going to Dr. Tzepos for years and feel very comfortable doing so. He immediately makes you feel at ease while at the same time is thorough. He has the latest technology with excellent communication skills while you are there with him and after your visit. I liked him so much, I insisted my husband and son also go to that office. We get excellent care when purchasing contacts and glasses. The women that work in that department are friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. He makes sure you are comfortable and he asks if you have any questions; And when you do he takes the time to answer them. I've been going to this eye doctor for 5 years, since I needed glasses. There are now two doctors and I've had both and they're very good. I'm always able to get an appointment when I want it. I've never waited past my apointment time and the staff is always kind and helpful. Also, they have their own store with a wide selection of frames to choose from. read more

The Doctor is great! Very thorough and knowledgeable, but that Jessica, oh my! She is over where you pick out the glasses and you can tell she doesn't want to be there! It always seems like you are interrupting her when you walk in, she has a terrible attitude! Very snarky! read more

I called the office on Saturday morning with an emergency and was told I could be seen if I came "right now." As an emergency patient, I had to wait to be seen for 15 minutes while in pain and a patch over my eye. My fiancee checked me in, but the receptionist disappeared. I had to call the office while in the waiting room to get attention, as if it was a hassle to see someone suffering. Today, I went in for a follow-up and brought this up to the doctor. Not only was he not apologetic, he made excuses for it and provided no explanation for the staff's rudeness. I was belittled for bringing this to his attention, and degraded when he noted that I had felt pain from the night before my appointment, as if to question my judgement and the validity of my pain. Never have I felt in my life the way I did when being seen as a patient by Dr. Tzepos. I have absolutely no respect for him as a medical professional. In addition, I made a constructive criticism about the lack of cleanliness in the waiting room only to be ridiculed once again. Apparently empathy and understanding isn't something they don't teach at optometry school. read more

Don't go here. Dr. Tzepos did a perfectly reasonable job on our eye exam, but after spending appr. $1000 on eye exams and a pair of prescription sunglasses, this office was incredibly unhelpful in getting my warby parker glasses fitted. Sure, I didn't buy them from them, but I was a current customer, and was only asking for a couple of minutes of assistance. If you want to be treated poorly and like you're asking for unreasonable favors, this is the place to go. If you want a good experience, find some other optometrist. Also, the fitting they did for my glasses didn't actually get it right, so now I have to find some other place who will treat me better. read more

Dr. Tzepos is a great doctor. He has a genuine concern for the well-being of his patients and takes the time to listen their concerns and not rush through the visit. I had a terrible eye infection once and called outside office hours and he was very responsive and even made time to see me. The office staff is knowledgeable and efficient and even tough I've been snubbed a few times by the girl in the eye center, the office staff is generally friendly and welcoming. It takes only a day for contacts and glasses about week to get. Their prices are reasonable and I always find something I like among the selection of glasses. I recommend him if you are in the Seymour area. read more
