Second time in Texas. First time I had Torchy's and this time we tried this place. I enjoyed this more! Mainly enjoyed the dorados barbacoa tacos. Nice crisp texture and juicy meat. Comes with lime and VERY spicy potatoes. I can handle a medium heat level, but this was entering high heat level territory. The juice drinks you can get help to cool down the heat (watermelon one truly does just taste like freshly pressed watermelon). Lots of seating: good space for a stroller.

Went to Taqueria Los Angeles after seeing posts on Instagram. Honestly, was pretty disappointed with the food. The restaurant is large and has plenty of seating. You order at the counter and they bring the food out to you. The utensils and everything is self-serve. They only have bottled water and drinks available for purchase. The chorizo burrito was filling but predominately was rice and beans. The al pastor tacos were the redeeming part of the meal. The flavors were good with onions, cilantro, and hot sauce.

We drive 1hr to be eat here we normally get tacos, tortas and the loaded fried the food is absolutely AMAZING!! And the people here are super friendly 10/10

First visit and it was great. You place your order at the register and then they assign a table and bring out your food. They also use a robot server so sometimes it's a person or the robot. Given it's our first visit we tried a little of everything. Flauta's were large and covered with cheese and sour cream. Filled with meat and I think beans. This was really good. Taco dinner was not on the menu but we could order it with any meat you want. We liked chorizo, chicken, and al carbon. All the meets are nicely filled in the tacos and tasted great. The quesadillas was huge and delicious. Came with some salsa. The burrito was great and as big as my head. Hot sauces they had 3 types, green, orange, and bottled. The orange and green were really good, but if you can't take the heat skip them. Lastly drinks, they have a variety of drinks but no soda machine, recommended. They did have Coca Cola glass bottles. Some dishes came with potatoes and that was my favorite thing, spicy potatoes with sweet onions.

Had a friend in town who wanted some authentic Mexican food. Not your typical Tex Mex, so this was recommended by someone and figured we'd give it a shot. Nothing fancy, just a little hole in the wall type of place but those typically are the best.... We walked in, and the line was crazy long, so we knew it was about to be good. Pros: Food was good, I got the California burrito with chorizo which was very flavorful and huge. My friend got the fajita chicken quesadilla, which he enjoyed as well. Cons: it was their "HH" and you're supposed to get a margarita with that, but nobody even mentioned that to us when we ordered. I had to ask only because I heard about it in other reviews and on social media. Then, my friend ordered a HennyRita and the cashier tried to charge us extra for shots of Henny because of a mistake on his part (which I will say the manager cleared up after I complained about that), so I appreciated him doing that for us. Also, seating is tough sometimes. They have large picnic tables but they're rarely clean. **Areas I think they could improve on: cleaning tables/space so that people can find clean spaces to sit/eat. Service (training staff). None of them knew anything about the menu when questions were asked, they weren't charging ppl correctly for things, and I just think the experience would be better if the service was a little more organized and customer friendly.

Always here about this place but never got a chance to visited once I was in the area. Wanted to play it safe on my first visit so I got the birria taco plate, which came with rice and all the fixings. Also tried the chicken tacos. I was shockingly surprised that I liked the chicken tacos more than the birria. The chicken was super flavorful and juicy. The portions were great. I also tried the pineapple agua fresca which was the star of the whole visit. I ordered the large but I wish they had a bigger size!! Menu is pretty straightforward and the cashier offered help when ordering. The food came out pretty fast but everything was fresh and piping hot! Very casual inside and a nice place for meeting friends. Will definitely be back to visit for a casual lunch.

This grease isn't even from the food I ordered?!?!

The least you could do is have someone check orders for delivery before handing the order off to the driver. Not only did I have to wait almost an hour to get my food from Uber Eats but the order was wrong. All it takes is eyes to check an order. Then you give me just red salsa not the green one. I'll never order food delivery again so A) I can get my food while it's warm and B) I can verify my order is correct before I leave. Terrible experience today!

My enchiladas were bursting with chicken and the sour cream sauce was the perfect compliment. The rice was excellent as well. Even the iced tea is great, and featured a legit lemon slice. They have a full bar which I'll be trying on my next visit and two large TVs set where you can see one or both from any seat in the dining room. I told my server she's going to get sick of seeing me because I'll be here at least twice a week! Service was excellent by the way. My tea was even refilled without having to ask. We finally got a table after about a 25 minute wait. We ordered the pork carnitas. The meat came in sizable chunks. Some pieces had a little fat, but most were pretty lean. They were all very tender and crispy on the outside. We also ordered a street taco dinner plate, which came with three tacos with proteins of our choice. We decided to go for a combination of beef, chicken, and pork. They were all delicious, but we liked the pork the most. It was moist and tender. We concluded the meal with some puffy sopaipillas. They were really good too! Our waiter was friendly and helpful, and very knowledgeable about the items on the menu. We enjoyed both the food and the service, and the lively vibe as well. We'll definitely come back. But next time we'll try to get there a little earlier to avoid the long wait.

We were very pleasantly surprised. It's even better in my opinion. The people are very warm and friendly. The food is really delicious. I love that they bring not only good salsa with their fresh hot chips, but also a tomatillo sauce and a black bean dip. We've now eaten there several times. The taco meat has a nicely charred flavor. The tamales were very good. (I'm picky about my tamales. I've tried their ranchero sauce, chili con carne, and sour cream sauce. None of them disappoint. Their rice isn't dry like it is at many other Tex-Mex places. And their $5.00 all day frozen margaritas are worth it. We usually go for the lunch specials that run until 4:00. They don't have mole on the menu, yet. I'm looking forward to their future specials. In this day and age where it's hard to keep a restaurant open, I really hope this one survives. It's not fancy, but the food and service make it worth it. And I'm a picky person when it comes to spending money on food I don't make myself.
