Stopped in for a quick lunch on a Saturday, it was packed but worth the wait. We ordered a faji queso taco and some carne asada tacos, all delicious! I forgot to get a picture of the faji queso taco but it was similar to the picture but add shredded white cheese, it was my favorite. Can't wait to go back, highly recommend!

La Salsa Verda Taqueria quickly serves up delicious tacos. It is a bust your own table establishment, but the quality of the food is always great. Inside is clean, bright , and almost homey. Make sure to use the salsas!

This is my favorite taco spot in Dallas. I used to like chilangos in Dallas but this is wayyy better. I got 4 tacos - 1 surtida, 1 tripitas, and 2 asada fajita. The breakfast burritos are amazing here, i always get the bacon burritos. The aguacate salsa is so good, i order extra salsa's with every order. If you love street tacos, you have to try out La Salsa Verde!! Everything tastes fresh and delicious. I placed a pickup order and the order was packaged very well.

Wow this place is legit! The food is so good and authentic. I have been looking for tacos like this being new to the area. Some standouts are the pastor. The quesa birria was good but I did find the beef itself a bit tough. Otherwise the flavor and taste are good and the consommé was one of the better ones I've had. It even comes with some pieces of meat and chickpeas which is nice. I definitely want to go back and try more things. Do note that the tacos are more like street tacos so they are pretty small which might be justified by the low price!

    Not birria tacos

Ordered the birria tacos. Did not get that. I tried to explain what I wanted and she acted like I was ignorant, or she didn't understand which is absurd because I was very clear. It seemed clean.

Order food , pay and get drinks as you walk in. Seat yourself then they bring you your food. Clean restaurant with mostly high top tables. Tacos were good.

This isn't my go-to taqueria but it will do. Pretty busy when we walked it around 9:30pm. Ordering was simple, you will be given a number then your order will be brought to your table. The food is good but I tend to compare it to my usual taqueria place. We ordered the asada fajita and lengua tacos. The meats are tender but could've used a little bit more salt for my liking.

    * date visited: 09.07.2024 * ordered: breakfast plate * fantastic. $6 for this entire plate of very filling tacos with eggs, sausage, and ham! the beans and potatoes on the side were also a nice touch and the salsas on the table were sooooo good. * i love counter ordering, and the seating was open and easily accessible. very pleased, i love hidden gems in plano :)

That's what the plate will look like and you'll still want more.

This is the best Taco joint ever. The service is great and the atmosphere is just pure friendly. Enjoyed my food and loved this experience. All I have to show for it is an empty plate

They have the best tacos for a great price point! The tacos were not greasy, and the cuts were great. My overall favorite was the crispy trips tacos and the lengua tacos. the tacos came out very quickly! Each table had sauce on the tables. I recommend the green sauce!

My favorite tacos in Dallas are at La Salsa Verde! When you are looking for something authentic and really is different from the DFW "Tex-mex" style food, this is the spot. The staff mostly speaks Spanish, so knowing a little bit help you out. I would say what makes this food great is the cheese they use, it's great! All the salsas on the side are good toppers. Get a Sangria drink on the side, you won't regret it. *chefs kiss*

Choriqueso and pork suadero. Both yummy.

The food is absolutely slamming! I found this spot on Taco Tuesday, and now I feel obligated to come back every single week.

They brought a large basket of perfectly crispy, warm chips with salsa and took my order. I got the #15 lunch special which is your choice of two enchiladas (I got sour cream chicken), rice and beans. The food was served quickly and at the perfect temperature. My enchiladas were bursting with chicken and the sour cream sauce was the perfect compliment. The rice was excellent as well. Even the iced tea is great, and featured a legit lemon slice. They have a full bar which I'll be trying on my next visit and two large TVs set where you can see one or both from any seat in the dining room. I told my server she's going to get sick of seeing me because I'll be here at least twice a week! Service was excellent by the way. My tea was even refilled without having to ask. It was a 10 star meal!

We entered and no one says anything, lady came in after us waiting, shoving us to see if there is a list for waiting... like girl were the only two people in line. We got sat and the workers are very friendly, no problem there. Chips were good and came out crisp. I ordered the two taco plate. Taco shell was very stale, was very sad. The ground beef wasn't that good, chicken taco was better (surprisingly). Rice and beans were decent. Overall, didn't hate it here, but also not that great. There was a lot of people here and a lot of people waiting to be seated as well.

We were very pleasantly surprised. It's even better in my opinion. The people are very warm and friendly. The food is really delicious. I love that they bring not only good salsa with their fresh hot chips, but also a tomatillo sauce and a black bean dip. We've now eaten there several times. The taco meat has a nicely charred flavor. The tamales were very good. (I'm picky about my tamales. I've tried their ranchero sauce, chili con carne, and sour cream sauce. None of them disappoint. Their rice isn't dry like it is at many other Tex-Mex places. And their $5.00 all day frozen margaritas are worth it. We usually go for the lunch specials that run until 4:00. They don't have mole on the menu, yet. I'm looking forward to their future specials. In this day and age where it's hard to keep a restaurant open, I really hope this one survives. It's not fancy, but the food and service make it worth it. And I'm a picky person when it comes to spending money on food I don't make myself.
