    Dinner Salad with Chicken

Love this place so much! The pizza is always amazing and the salad with chicken is the best. We got ours to go so it was nice to be able to set the time as well. When we came in, they were quick with getting to us and quick to bring over the order. Definitely looking forward to coming back!

Although I generally get the same thing when we come here, and it's always to go, the food consistency and quality is always on point. I'm in-laws live up the street from this location and we often get it on game days or when we want a quick, yummy lunch or dinner. I get the chicken salad with either the veggie or Fab Four pizza. The orders always come out correctly and on time. The ordering process is seamless and I haven't had any issues with it. The food itself is good, nothing worth complaining about for sure but nothing too spectacular either.

Fan favorite in my family. Love the rolls, cheese pizza, and chicken salad. Service is always friendly and fast.

I've been to Sgt Peffer's a couple times, Millard and Saddlecreek location, but my first time leaving a review. If you are ever in the mood for classic Amerian style Italian food this is the place! You order at the counter, take a number, and they bring your food to you. They have a lot of different options from salads, pasta, pizza, etc. My husband ordered the manicotti and I had the seafood lasagna. We both enjoyed our dishes and I loved the lasagna! We ordered pizza bread for our kids but they were not hungry from eating a lot of sugar at a bday party prior so my husband and I ended up trying it. The pizza bread was okay, I think they should use a different, thicker slice of bread. Speaking of bread don't miss out on their rolls, they come with all the meals! I've only tried their white rolls but they have honey wheat as well. They are so big, fluffy, and delicious. If you come at lunch they have cheap lunch specials. My parents recently moved here from California and Sgt Peffer's (Saddlecreek location) is their go to spot for lunch because of the delicious, cheap food! Definitely a steal!

And back here again surprisingly. Lasagna for myself. Ravioli for B. Large portions and sure is real good everything.

There are two Sgt Peffer's locations, one off Saddle Creek and one in Millard. We have been to both and both are excellent. Last week, we ate at the Millard location. We were promptly greeted when we arrived, and asked to order at the counter when we were ready. I ordered the seafood lasagna and my husband ordered the meat tortellini with Alfredo sauce. All meals come with Italian rolls and choice of soup or salad. We both chose soup--I got the minestrone, and my husband got the chili. Our server loaded a tray for us with the soups and rolls and told us our pastas would be brought out to our seats. We chose a booth, but there are tables as well. All are covered in cute checkered tablecloths. I loved my minestrone and my husband enjoyed his chili as well. The rolls are rather large and dense, good for dipping in soup. When our entrees came, they were still bubbling, fresh from the oven. The seafood lasagna was rich and creamy. I planned to eat half and take half home, but it was so good, I wound up eating all of it! My husband did the same with his tortellini. A couple days later, we called the restaurant and put in an order for catering for Christmas Eve. You can order half pans or full pans of their dishes. We got half pans of lasagna, cheese ravioli in Alfredo, and meat tortellini in Alfredo. We easily fed our 16 guests, and had leftovers for a few days as well!

    Large combination specialty pizza

Ordered the large combination pizza through delivery. Sadly, was a bit disappointed. I think the pizza tasted relatively average. I felt like the only thing I could taste were the onions. Maybe because I ordered delivery, but the base of the pizza was a bit soft/soggy.

Friendly service, comfy setting, and oh yeah - the food! Unfortunately for me, there is too much seafood on the menu but there's always something. People rave about the seafood dishes so I'll trust them and say it must be good. I'm just not into it. On this visit, we each ordered a cocktail. I decided to try the lemon martini which I never order and OH MY GOODNESS. It was awesome! They nailed it. The limoncello brought it home. My dining partner had a dirty martini and was satisfied as well. We enjoyed a Spezia salad which featured mixed greens, prosciutto, tomato, Kalamata olives, and a house vinaigrette. It all combined so well. The lettuce was wonderfully fresh, no need to pick out rotting leaves like some places. The dressing was simply light and delish. We shared a plate of spaghetti. You get several options to add to it. The grilled spicy Italian sausage sounded good. I'm not sure which was better. The sausage or the marinara sauce. Both were soooooo good!! The sausage was truly grilled and spicy and just amazing, and it was not greasy either. The marinara sauce challenged my own that I make at home. We devoured that plate of spaghetti which was big enough to share. I forgot to take a picture as it was served so I am sharing a tight shot of half the order after we divided it.

It can get pretty busy, so I definitely recommend making one ahead of time. The ambiance is quiet and really nice, and the restaurant is much larger inside than I expected, which makes it feel comfortable without feeling crowded. The happy hour menu is such a great deal. $6 Old Fashioneds is almost unheard of, and they are perfectly made for my taste every time. My favorite pasta is similar to a Cajun cream sauce, with the perfect balance of flavors and they definitely do not skimp on the chicken. My kids love the complimentary bread and always order the salmon pasta. I am usually too full for dessert, but this time we shared the chocolate raspberry cheesecake and it was so good it disappeared before I could even get a picture. Definitely a place we keep coming back to.

I've been here on multiple occasions and the consistency and service is unmatched. I think they do a really great job handling busy evenings because I've never had an issue getting a reservation here last minute. It helps the restaurant is large, but I haven't found it influences the quality. My favorite menu items are the vodka pasta and the brown butter alfredo. It's a really hard debate every visit. For $4 you must try the very large portion of rosemary focaccia. They also have one my favorite Caesar salads in Omaha. I also love to snag a spot on the patio if available -- great people watching!

For the main course, I had the penne bolognese fiorna, and it was flawless (rich, fresh, and a generous portion). My better half went for the Big Vinny Combo (chicken parmigiana, fettuccine Alfredo, baked lasagna). Everything hit except the Alfredo needing a touch more salt... though she definitely didn't need any help enjoying those glasses of wine. The kiddo crushed her cavatappi with shrimp -- fork never stopped moving, and she couldn't stop talking about how good it was. Though it could be considered slightly pricey, it's absolutely worth it. I'll definitely be back.
