BUT when I left the sweater for the manager to look over it was hung on a hanger, no creases. When I got it back it was crammed into a small plastic bag and the bag was hanging from the hanger. It's all full of impossible creases that won't hang out. So now I have to pay to have it dry cleaned, of course they offered to do it (and charge full amount). Are you kidding me! You crumbled it up into a ball and want me to pay you to dry cleaned it. That treatment (by a manager no less) tells me to stay far far away. They obviously don't care about quality garments!

Siri said dry cleaning solution was what you use. Having none and smelling up my car, I rushed home to change my slacks (not liking other possible alternatives) and rushed to get there by closing time (6pm). I asked if they could get out the gasoline and wasn't a problem. They took my contact info and I got an email when they were ready the next day and looked great with no Smell of gasoline. It cost $7 .95 which was worth it for me. I was happy to get it done and well. The young man that waited on me was pleasant and helpful. The next day I received a thank you card for using them. Some years ago I had working clothes needing dry cleaning. Though it costs a bit, they do have sales and knowing I can get something done well and over night while being appreciated will make me use them when needed (hopefully not for gasoline stains!).

After giving my review on 9/21/2018 Patricia responded and her comments were accurate. A family member gave me 4 used shirts and said they always take their clothes to the "dry cleaners". Dummy me assumed the shirts needed to be dry cleaned. I checked with my family last night and they said "have them laundered and pressed not dry cleaned". I do apologize and have changed my rating to 4 stars because the service was good and the shirts are to my liking. Lesson Learned. read more

But..a few things have made me take my business elsewhere Recently, I needed to have two long special occasion dresses cleaned. The girl at the counter told me that the rhinestone straps on one of the dresses could be damaged or lost. Anyway, I decided to quickly remove the rhinestone straps thinking I would sew them back on when I got the dress back. That same dress had rips on the bottom hem. When my husband picked up the two dresses it was over $80. Now I am okay with paying for a premium service if premium service is provided but for $40 to dry clean a long dress, DO NOT have me remove the straps so they won't get damaged. Also, they sent my husband a text that they could repair the bottom hem of the dress after he picked up my order. That service wasn't offered to me when I was dropping off the dress. My second experience was with a yellow dress and two small light marks (photo) - The manager told me that they might not be able to get the marks off the dress. Really? That disclaimer has happened almost every time I have dropped off any clothing item that has a mark or spot to this dry cleaner. These were not heavily soiled or stained garments - just light marks from general wear. What's the purpose of dry cleaning if not to get the clothes clean? If they are going to tell me every time that I drop off clothing that my items may be damaged or they might not be able to clean it completely, I'll find a place more confident in their abilities to provide the service they are charging me for.

I explained this and that it was dirt from red rock to your staff over the phone when I called to inquire about cleaning the dress. Any person would be emotional to find their prized possessions returned ruined and to be asked to pay $300 for the ruined dress. Any person would also be shocked to be talked to so aggressively while they are processing that their wedding dress is ruined and they are being threatened by Aiden that he would have to "take things from here" if they didn't run their credit card. The staff at Dove Mountain Cleaners were clearly out of their scope and had many opportunities to communicate this to me or inform me of what was happening with the dress throughout the process but they chose not to. It's clear that your company just wanted the money for the services even if you weren't capable of doing the work and it was out of your scope. I have since taken the dress to another company who informed me that the whole dress should never have been soaked in water and that you should have only cleaned the bottom of the dress, as the rest was still white and any small stains on the rest of the dress should have been spot treated only. The other company was shocked that Dove Mountain Cleaners would take a job they aren't competent to complete and then charge me for ruining my dress. It was clear negligence. Your staff being so unwilling to do anything to rectify their mistake is unacceptable and that is an unethical way to do business. The dress in all 3 of the pictures I posted is the same dress and it is illogical to blatantly deny that it is my wedding dress. Anyone looking at those photos can identify that it is in fact the same dress in a bag with a tag showing the dress was serviced at your store on that specific date and time. I also have pictures of the dress still perfectly white except for at the very bottom during the red rock photo shoot (see attached). I would have had to lay on the ground and roll maybe a dozen times to get that dress the same color that you returned it to me in. Let customers be on alert that Dove Mountain Cleaners will not inform customers if they are out of their scope and competency. As evidenced in their reply, they will not take accountability for their mistakes, and they might be so defensive as to even accuse you of a scam if they ruin your items. Take your clothes elsewhere if you care about your items and want them back in the same or better condition than you dropped them off in for cleaning!!
