It is so easy to order through the app and pick up. The staff and management even went out of their way to help me when I messed up placing an order. They got me the additional food really quickly and were so kind about it. I arrived at 1:40pm, received my order ready text at 1:45pm but didn't receive my order until 2:15pm. Tried this place for the first time with a friend since I'm not from around this part of town. I was told it's the only one in Maryland but not 100% sure if that's true. Stopped in to grab lunch today after a meeting. I had a back cheeseburger with fries and the Black and White shake. My order came pretty quick for lunch time on a Thursday. The food was great but the service aint...I went yesterday and it wasn't crowded and there seemed to be a bunch of people working...so why did my buzzer start to buzz yet nobody had my tray ready when I got to the counter? Probably because the employees had their backs to me and we're talking to each other for a minute and a half before one finally turned around and brought me my food. I just stood their awkwardly..Same thing happened when I went for a drink refill I saw girls on their phone behind the counter laughing and talking to themsleves. I waited until a fry cook on the other side of them came and refilled my drink and apologized and got my refill. But my cup was greasy after she handed it to me probably because she made my food. Extremely friendly staff, lots of smiles and offers to help make our dining experience the best if could be! The lady who took our order offered a great recommendation, the person who gave us our order double checked to make sure the order was correct, and another gentleman offered his assistance if we needed anything after we started eating. Food was awesome as expected, but the staff there was terrible. One of the employees accidentally stepped on a mayonnaise packet that was on the floor and it shot out like a water gun. This is the most trash shake shack I've ever been to. My burger has disgusting both times I have gone. My bun was soggy right when I received my meal & my burger was severely undercooked. On top of my meal being absolutely horrible the service was equally bad. Kids who aren't doing their job correctly are working while the manager doesn't correct the behavior. They are holding conversations like it's social hour and not work. They will hold a full conversation while holding your food in their hands. Burger patties were bland and thin. Milkshake costed over 5 dollars. Caramel flavor was strong but the texture and flavor of the ice cream was mediocre. Size of the milkshake was small to medium. I was shockingly charged an extra 50 cents for whipped cream. One of the worst money-grubbing actions by a restaurant I've ever been a part of.
