My mushroom burger was cold. Cheese was nowhere near melted and they weren't even busy. Atmosphere was pleasant so they get a star for that.

Look, it's Shake Shack. You know that Danny Meyer and his team will make it perfect. The line moved quickly and my sister and I enjoyed our meals at a table in between the stores. The building that Shake Shack is in used to be the back of the old Lerner's/ NYC & Co where my sister worked when she was in her teens and twenties. I worked across Mall Walk at Woolworth's when I was high school. Ah, memories. So, my Chicken Shack was delicious (add a few drops of the Louisiana Hot Sauce to the buttermilk dressing side of the sandwich, trust me) and my sister indulged in the Shack Stack and cheese fries... ooey gooey all over. I tried the miso caramel custard, which I wasn't especially fond of, but usually their custard flavors are very tasty. Why am I not giving the store five stars? The layout of the interior space needs a better design for flow. If you take your order-buzzer outside, it's hard to get back in to get your food. If you gather with the horde in front of the pickup counter to wait for your device to buzz, then you might get crushed in a stampede. Adding an additional exit-only door on the side of the building would help get guests out with their take-away and al fresco orders. Adding an additional in-door to the pick up area would help eliminate the crush. read more

The food is usually good and consistent at this location in my experience. I usually pick up in person but this time I ordered through Grubhub. There was a large drink missing, directions not followed on the order, and no sauce for either of the chicken bites orders. I chose honey mustard for one and the shake shack sauce for the other. Instead, they threw ketchup packets inside the bag, which makes me believe they barely read the order. The only thing they got right was adding the onions on the burger. The drink was refunded by Grubhub, everything else was just annoying. I hope the managers speak with their staff about being meticulous and double checking all orders, especially the ones where the customer isn't there to check. read more

Will never return to this Shake Shack location. Last night we ordered on the app... we scheduled the order for 10: 30pm. We got there at around 10:22pm. The girl practically yelled at us "Ya'll gotta gimmie da few more minutes! You're early!!!" ... uhmmmmm... OK. WE KNOW WE ARE EARLY. CALM DOWN. We see her rushing to throw together our order! She spills my husbands drink and my chocolate shake, she didn't even bother to wipe the cup or give us a new one.. she just made new drinks and put it in the same messed up cups. My husband says to her..."can I get a new cup, this one has chocolate all over the outside" she responds by saying "no you can't." And... the remade shake wasn't even a full cup. I wasn't in any type of mood to argue with the ratchet thing so we left. TRUST ASSURED, NEVER AGAIN. I don't care how good the the food and shakes are, it really reallyyy is disheartening to deal with such attitudes. The females that are working there are just ANGRY. It was good, fresh and made to order, not great, but definitely good. I had their signature 'double shackburger', fries and a chocolate malt, about $20. Overall, the sandwich was small to average for a chain restaurant.The patties were small and thin, but tasty. It reminded me a lot like another chain, Steak and Shake, except S&S is about 1/3rd the price. The tomato was really good, there was very little of their special sauce, but again, it was tasty. The fries were very good crinkle cut, but again nothing different than I can get most anywhere else. The malt was average quality, with good flavor and consistency. It appeared a little small, but the cup may have been larger diameter than in used to. Overall, the experience was good, but I won't be back. There are better chains at a much better value, (i.e., Culver's and Steak and Shake). Better yet visit an establishment making a homemade patty of reasonable size and quality not sold by a chain.... read more

The hamburger was fresh and delicious. It was butt naked though. I like lettuce and tomatoes on it, a little pickle or something. But it was naked. I don't like the taste of the cheddar. Next time I will put it to the side. This location isn't crowded. The cashiers were friendly. I won't necessarily crave Shake Shack after this experience. read more

When I get take out here I always know it will be delicious. I took away a star because either you can order on the app or wait on a long wait line. The problem with ordering on the app is that it's alittle harder to customize what you want. When I go I get a shack burger ( burger cheese and shack sauce- ask for shack sauce on the side, you will get more.) Then I also order cheese fries with the cheese on side. Before I eat my sandwich I pour the shack sauce on my burger and add some of the cheese sauce that goes with the fries onto my burger too! Okay so I just had a meal at shake shack last night I really love shake shack there food is delicious there my only comment is that I waited over a half an hour to get my food because the staff needs to get it together. I had a meal on a Friday night and I was waiting there just watching them argue about the whole damn time while my food just sat there. I visited the restaurant in cross county mall NY. First I give the good and that it the burgers tastes great and don't get me started on the shakes. They were delicious! The downside is they are really small, I would say get two...if you can afford to because they are on the pricier side. The bad, we made two orders and one box of fries was only half way filled.we did take it back because a I said the portion is really small and fries is $4 we were not accepting that's. They gave us another one so that was a plus. We had to order off the app, no one was allowed inside. I tried to use my card on their app and it gave an error twice so I used another and it went through. A few days later I see that shake shack took three payments off my card. I've been trying for days to get to someone and no one picks up the phone if you do get a correct number. Apparently some of the numbers on google does not work. Also I sent in a complaint and have not heard back from anyone. I would eat there again because they food was good, but now I cannot trust them they stole my money. read more

Horrible experience both times I went. I never got a chance to try the shake shack wave and I went to this location being that it's near my job in cross county. The first time I went I ordered a crispy chicken sandwich because I dont eat beef and it was so over crisp that it literally scraped the top of my mouth and it hurt for days and the fries were horrible. So I gave them a second chance a few weeks later and everything went smooth and I ordered the grilled chicken sandwich but unfortunately when I went to put ketchup on my sandwich my tomatoes had two pieces of hair on them!!! Here's what I ordered from here: Double Cheeseburger with bacon, fries, and a salted caramel shake. The tastes of the cheeseburger was amazing and they put a good amount of bacon. The bacon was nice and crispy. They fries were the crinkle cut fries. The taste was fresh, crispy and a little crunchy. Now down to the shake, it was really good. I just wish there was a large size. Also, be aware that there are no combos everything is separate. Overall, I would definitely comeback here. read more

The burgers are good. The fries are trash. The fries taste like frozen crinkle cut fries you can buy at any supermarket. Nothing special about the fries at all. Wish the fries were better. The shakes are tasty and a highlight. Disappointed that they don't put whip cream on the regular shakes. They only give the option for whip cream on the premium shakes, and you have to pay EXTRA for the whip cream on those shakes. Lines are long.
