This is the regular shake shack that we like else where. This one being located in the airport is always jam pack, however the service is very fast. They don't have any seating available with their premises but you can find plenty around the airport. They also serve beers and wine which can be taken to the flight with you. I believe i saw the sign saying they have drinks beers and wine for to go. I have been to various franchise inside the airport and some had really disappointed me with the taste and the service but this location is still good to go if you love shake shack but be considerate that we are at the airport and don't take up their time with long chats. read more

Service: Ordering the food was great, but when I went to pick it up, the guy working there forgot my bacon cheese fries. I politely told him that my fries were missing and he rolled his eyes before giving me my fries. I can imagine that the line gets insanely long during peak hours, but when I got there, around 11am on a Saturday, the only other people there was a couple. The service here is mediocre and they misspelled my name to Michal, making it hard for me to pick up my meal, because they call out your name rather than using the vibrator. Located in the new Southwest Airlines terminal, this Shake Shack is probably the best place to eat here. Yes, it was crowded with a few people waiting for food and more waiting in line. Thankfully, the line moves quite fast. Beware this is not a lot of seating but the new terminal has other options nearby. They have a nice selection of Burgers, Chicken, Dogs, Shakes and even beer and wine. It's a carnivore's delight! Yum! Remarkably, the prices weren't as high as I expected for an airport restaurant and for New Your City. The staff is friendly enough and the service is quick. The line moves along well. This one's in Terminal B in LaGuardia, and you can get a good hot burger or chicken sandwich here for far less than a pre-packaged sandwich at one of the other stands on the concourse. I'm resubmitting my review (from memory) because Yelp deleted it for no good reason. In fact, I think my review was deleted because this business is public. I might short Shake Shack. It is, after all, a public company. I had heard the media hype about it and this restaurant is really no great shakes. The food is average and the prices are high. I don't get it. And sales aren't growing like before. A near flatline. Bronco's hamburgers in Omaha is better than Shake Shack. There is no place to sit and eat. Just a place to stand and eat like a cow at the feed bunk. The airport had a very small eating area with a few tables. The table I eventually snagged was nearly broken and very wobbly. When you're pregnant in an airport and you see a Shake Shack, you just go. Listen, it wasn't pretty. I didn't even pause to take a photo. The food was so damn good that it was my priority. I had a single shackburger (helloooo cheese!) and then decided I needed more cheese, and also had the cheese fries. Are you sensing a trend? After years of saying that I wish we had a Shake Shack in Columbus, then after months of not actually getting the chance, there it was at the La Guardia Airport. The line was long but it was totally worth it. The fries were hot, crispy on the outside, and had just the right amount of salt and seasoning. They tasted so fresh which is definitely a perk of waiting in line for so long. I didn't even end up using my ketchup. And possibly it was because I was so hungry but the burger itself, with just the cheese, and bread was literally the best I've ever had. The seasoning was just right, the bread was soft, and without any other toppings the cheese was easy to taste and the flavor of the burger really stood out. Like I said I could I have been just really hungry, but this particular burger and fries just knocked out in and out for best burger I've ever had. If you adore room temperature fries then by all means... I didn't notice the heating lamps until it was too late. I wasted my $5 Terminal B voucher on these horrible fries. Shake Shack is better than this! Fries are the only thing on the menu I can eat and they were terrible. There's not much more to say. There's a super long line, the employees scream the entire time repeating the same thing as if you didn't hear them the first, second, or third time. The burger was not worth the 20 minute wait at all. I thought the burger came with mushrooms but come to find out it a a complete mushroom burger with no meat at all. When I explained this to the manager he offered to let me switch to something else. For that I will give them three stars for trying recover. Otherwise, I wouldn't waste your time here. This was the closest restaurant near my gate and with an injured toe I wasn't looking to venture out too far. The line appeared to be really long with little movement however once I got in line I found myself at the front counter within 5 minutes. I pride myself on not spending money at airports. Having been on roughly 60 flights in the past 5 years, you can imagine how much money I'd be saving by not eating at the airport, even if you can write part of it off as a business expense. The one exception is Shake Shack at La Guardia. When this opened up not too long ago as part of LGA redesign, this was a game changer. It's kind of sad that it took so long for this to happen. SS has been open at LAX for many years now. I remember being at an international airport in another country where there were 2 SS in the same area. I went to a SS in Istanbul before a SS opened in LGA! I try to stick to just the double meat sandwich, but when I'm not in the best mood and want to splurge, I get the Shack Stack. If I really want to splurge, I add fries. This will run you ~$15. Yes I know, In-n-out is way less expensive, but it is a different experience. The Shack Stack cheese explodes in your mouth, and they use pretty good quality mushrooms. Most people have tried SS before so I'll spare the description of the other ingredients like the potato bun. People who go to NYC for the first time nowadays may not know hoe dreadful it was like to go through their airports (although Newark hasn't changed all that much, whereas JFK and LGA have). Now, you look forward to going to LGA. SS might be my biggest reason why.
