A very busy Chick-fil-A given the location it is in. The food itself is actually decent. The service however is quite negative. Not only did the get the order wrong, the server gave us a look of disgust when we asked for straws and then reluctantly gave it to us when we show we order drinks and they didn't provide us with straws. I guess I have to apologize for workers having to do their job? Would not recommend this location to anyone. No ambiance to be said since there are no seats and the people working here are rude.

The Bryant Park Chick-fil-A at 1180 6th Ave is an express, grab-and-go location that's surprisingly well-organized compared to other fast-food spots within walking distance. The operation is tightly run, and the food was prepared just as the good Lord intended--nothing out of the ordinary when it comes to quality or customer service. However, finding a comfortable spot to eat your food can be challenging. The dining area is limited to barstool seating, which isn't ideal given the large portions Chick-fil-A is known for. Fortunately, I managed to grab a seat by the window, where one of the corridors has a small ledge suitable for resting, though it only fits one or two people at a time--I'm not even sure if that was its intended purpose. As expected, the location gets packed since it's in a tourist-heavy area, but overall, it's a solid spot for a quick bite if you're on the go. The ambiance here is as expected: large and loud.

Just got lunch here. What a sad tiny piece of spicy chicken on my sandwich. The fries are at least good. That is the reason for 2 stars rather 1 star. $13 for sandwich and fries - complete waste of money. I go to Melt Shop and get 4 chicken tenders for $8 w/o fries - sometimes the individual chicken tenders from MS are larger than the sad chicken I just got. AVOID THIS PLACE!

Reliably good chicken. The food here is always good, the inside is cleanly, and the staff is usually nice. I would highly recommend ordering from the Chick-fil-A app so that your food is ready for you when you arrive

This Chick-fil-A is ALWAYS beyond busy. It's amazing how they address and control the mayhem. Having staff members approaching customers while in line, with a menu and tablet, is a genius idea. They always get my order right and are always courteous, cordial, and appreciative of our business. I hope, that you'll experience this location's military precision business approach and enjoy the good food.

-First Impression- I was surprised by how small this place was, even for New York -Food- Everything was fresh and hot. I just wish the fries were seasoned... -Service- The line was literally to the door, and I was thinking about leaving, but one of the girls went through the line handing out menus and taking orders on a tablet. When I got to the register, I gave my name, paid, and was handed my order a couple minutes later. Two thumbs up! Everyone seemed pretty nice, so that is a plus as well. -Price- See pics -Did Not Like- The garbage was overflowing, and it didn't appear that anyone who worked there was concerned, or going to take care of it any time in the near future. I felt bad and took my trash outside. -Noteworthy- No seating available while I was there -Recommended?- I'd stop by again and hope

If you walk Pass this establishment then you'll think it's a mad house. The line literally wraps around the building but once you go in side you'll realize they are actually organized and the line goes by super fast. I popped in on a Wednesday and was pleasantly surprised as I waited online- an attendant offered me a menu and then another attendant came by to see if I was ready to place my order- they did this right on the spot on a tablet while I waited in line. Once I got to the front to a cashier they confirmed my order and handed me my food. Wow! Very genius of this establishment. I wish more restaurants used this method. Also, everyone of the workers I interacted with was very nice. Not rude or snooty. Most busy restaurants are filled with miserable staff. I will definitely return and recommend to others. I ordered the spicy chicken sandwich combo. It came with waffle fries and a soda. Shockingly I was not charged when I requested to try the special sauce. The meal cost me almost $11. At other burger joints I would be forking over atleast $20 for this meal. Super pleased with the food, price and service.

Juicy chicken sandwich. Kept very warm in foil packaging. Ordered on mobile and had a quick pick up time.

WOW probably the best fast food location I've seen in New York City. This was conveniently location in between Times Square and Rockefeller. We stopped by on a Saturday night wanting a quick bite to eat and to bring over to Rockefeller. The line at this location was out the door. When we finally got in past the two doors we were surprised at how small this location is considering its at a prime area. After a 15 minute wait we were at the front and ready to order. Our cashier was nice and efficient. Once we were done ordering we stepped to the side and waited for our order. By the time we stepped aside our name and order was called. We barely had to wait for our food although this place was packed! The fact that this was so conveniently located, we took our food to go and ate it at Rockefeller.

The pre-made frosted lemonade with a bit of liquid on top.

Been to this location numerous times (when I started my review it was a 3 star) and everything was always great until today. I ordered my usual frosted lemonade ($4.78). There were a few people in front of me in line which is normal. The cashier said she will make it for me. Wonderful. Though, I happened to see a pre-made one sitting on the counter where the workers make the beverages. She fills the lemonade in the cup, sees the pre-made one and gives it to me. There is a hole in the ice cream like someone ate from it (maybe?). The cashier tells me the hole is from the ice cream blending and to shake it that is what they do. I shake it though the top is a bit liquidity. I took a sip but it doesn't taste like it usually does for me. Since I don't know how long the cup has been there, I dumped the frosted lemonade in the garbage can since I didn't want a stomachache. Normally, this place is efficient. Some employees are cheerful and others are not. A person takes your order while on line. You tell the cashier your name and you pay. Wait a few minutes, another employee calls your name and gives you your order. You go enjoy your meal.

And let's just say... the house won. I ordered a Chicken Sandwich, Spicy Wings, Fries, and the 3-sauce flight. The sandwich? Dry, old, and looking like it clocked out an hour before I arrived. The chicken itself was hard on the edges and somehow soggy in the center -- a combination I didn't even know was possible. The mayo situation looked like someone whispered the word "sauce" over the bun and walked away. The Spicy Wings were no better -- overcooked, dark, and tasted like they'd been sitting in the warmer since lunchtime. Not spicy. Not fresh. Just... tired. The fries? Burnt, cold, and absolutely done with life. They didn't even pretend to try. The only thing that saved this meal from being a total loss was the 3-sauce flight. Credit where it's due -- the sauces were actually solid. They added enough flavor and moisture to make the rest at least edible. Without them, this review would've ended a lot sooner. I get it -- it's Penn Station, it's late, everyone's hustling, and the crowd is nonstop. But even with that, freshness shouldn't be optional. Overall: If you're starving and desperate, grab the sauces and hope for the best. Otherwise? Keep walking. There are better options within the same block, even during off-hours. Go to Gardenia. On this occasion, KFC had a promotion to try out the 3 Piece Original Recipe Tenders Box, which came with fries. Since it may not be enough, went for the "Taste of KFC 2 Piece Deal" that included a drumstick, thigh, mashed potatoes with gravy and a biscuit. My order went through KFC's app, which I downloaded now for the 1st time. This location, a block from Penn Station and MSG certainly gets a lot of customers, keeping the KFC busy behind the counter. That being said, all the tables had crumbs and, while I'm eating, some guy came in rummaging through the trash foraging for something to eat and exited with a discarded bucket - making the experience less than optimal. Putting that aside, here's the other reasons this meal dropped from 3 to 2 stars: While I enjoyed KFC Original Recipe Tenders more than a chicken nugget, they gave me Buffalo Ranch sauce instead of the KFC Sauce I ordered. They corrected it, but having now tasted also their Comeback Sauce, I'd order that in the future over the KFC Sauce. The biscuit and was much smaller and drier than I remember, or get elsewhere. The fries were also not something to write home about. Oddly, the 2 Piece Deal ended up with 3 pieces, but the drumsticks were more like drumettes and the thigh was possibly from a runt - so, I guess it was equivalent to the amount of meat I'd expect from 2 normal size pieces. Perhaps these kid's "tea playset"-size components are how they're able to sell this (value) Taste of KFC 2 Piece Meal for $5 - shrinkflation? Would I go back? Not likely to this KFC location due to the other more appealing nearby options, but open to try elsewhere something else on their menu again if the opportunity permits and I'm nearby.
