3/22 Panarea Bread offers a fantastic environment for sitting alone to have breakfast, lunch or dinner, for meeting as a group to eat, or to have a cold beverage or hot while you do work on your laptop by using the free WiFi that's available. You can come as you are, but most people come casual. I see a lot of parent and child dining in. Panera has expanded their food selection and upgraded in the bakery section as well. Just looking at the pastry's can be very tempting. I asked for a vegan or vegetarian selection and the young lady that was working the cash register was well versed and very knowledgeable in the products and ingredients. She inspired me to have the steel cut oats with strawberry and nuts and she offered a fruit bowl as well. Very good suggestion, thank you! I scored $3 off from my perks. They also have a drink or sip program, my elite Veronica C. Takes advantage of this program and she really enjoy her drinks. I don't visit Panera enough to partake in that program nor am I that dedicated. Was starving after work and decided to order Panera through the app at this location! It's my first time here and I had a great experience. I got french onion soup, Chicken frontera sandwich but customized it to change the bread, as well as a salad and mac and cheese for my cousin. The food was ready before the set time, picking it up was smoothly and everything is correct. I feel like it's hard these days to get a perfect order! The food was hot even by the time I arrived home and it tasted fresh. The food also came with three decent sized breads that were warm and soft. I definitely will be back in the future. read more

I came here with a friend to have a pleasant breakfast. Our attire was casual for relaxed visits but the visit was frustrating today. The cashier seemed to have forgotten her thinking cap in another place. We order a dozen bagels she was asking if I wanted 6 bagels and then she said 13 bagels. Ordered 3 sandwiches and she rang up 2. The manager was a bit condescending because he didn't know what was going on. Normally it's on point and service has been better on occasion. read more

Zero stars if I could. I did a door dash at 6:18 3 soups an and a cookie and it is now 7:43 and they still didn't finish. My door dasher wait an hour now and I had to call them because they were trying to tell him my order wasn't in the system and soon as I called they magically found it. They also said the kitchen was having "tech issues" its soup. Now after he waited an hour, they just canceled the order bec they couldn't fulfill my order. I realize my reviews are pretty much the same from location to location but Panera is pretty much the same from location to location. My individual reviews from restaurant to restaurant will only differ slightly. This spot is close to my house and bank that my wife uses for business so we always stop by when in the area Like all chain restaurants there is a specific model they follow. I like the one that Panera uses. There restaurants are always bright, cheerful and very clean. Condiment stations are always checked and cleaned and tables are constantly being maintained. I like the way that you order from one area, given a buzzer so you can find a seat and relax, then get called to pick up your meal. The team member taking our order was extremely cordial and helped us through a couple of modifications with ease. That's a really good trait of any restaurant these days given so many diet restrictions of patrons. We had soup for lunch as we usually do. My wife's chicken noodle is always to her liking, rich tasty broth with plenty of noodles and meat. I love the creamy chicken and rice. It's always so flavorful rich and hearty. As always the food was extremely fresh and very well prepared. Panera certainly has made me a lifetime customer and I always look forward to a visit. I think their coffee club was a brilliant idea and never pass by an opportunity to grab a hot (or iced cup) of coffee. read more

I tried their Passion Papaya Iced Green Tea and loved it and I don't even like green tea and papayas lol. My mother got the cream of broccoli soup, I tried it and loved it! So much that I ended up buying it in a supermarket near my home but I don't know what it is but the taste was better in the restaurant lol. The cashier was informative but one of the cook's had an attitude when I asked for my food and had to correct her. I was so happy with my Napa Almond Chicken Salad Sandwich pickup order! The ingredients and bread was super delicious & fresh! I was afraid that I wasn't going to get a fresh sandwich by ordering after 6:30pm, but the bread was so light and soft, as if it was baked just this morning, or last evening! I actually want to buy a whole loaf of this bread just to make me some sandwiches at home! I will be sure to try out some of Panera's other sandwiches on the menu in the future! When I walked in, my order was already ready for me right on the counter, packed with care, with my name on the front of the bag. Everything went really smoothly, no errors were made. I tried the warm grain bowl today (Chopt has them too), but the portion was incredibly small, and definitely NOT worth $11.39). I expect chain establishments to keep to a similar level of service and food quality. Today's visit (Sat. Evening) was very different from my usual visits (at a different location). So it was a slight miss. This Panera locale must be very busy given it's located in a couple shopping Plaza. They didn't have a plain bagel or any plain rolls. No croissants be either. So bummed. While i ordered other stuff and got everything immediately (well drinks), I waited ten minutes before asking, as they forgot my Strawberry Banana Smoothie. The cashier apologized for the wait and said she'd work on it right away. But my thought was, why is the one cashier doing the work when she has to man the register? They were not short staffed given I saw three workers manning the hot food station and giving out orders. And there were two more workers visible but working towards the back. Management needs to revisit the work flow and they should have a designated person doing specialty drinks that a customer can't get on their own. Well, at the least, other Yelpers did say this location lacked service, I'd have to agree. But I did enjoy my Asiago Cheese bagel as I was hungry from all the shopping I did in the Plaza. read more

Happened upon this location. Was looking for a slice of pizza but the place next door is cash only so we skipped them and went to eat where food as it should be. Very nice inside and deceivingly large. Very good parking. The staff taking my order was friendly. The staff making the sandwiches seemed too busy in their own conversation. While ordering I had two people ahead of me that ordered and changed their order about 4 times which caused a long wait. The most outrageous part of it was they insisted on knowing what kind of steak was used and the type of cut of the steak. They wouldn't complete their order until they knew. The veggie sandwich was made on the incorrect bread that I ordered and was subpar compared to other locations I've been to. Overall wasn't a great experience in comparison to other ones. read more

Small Panera Bread with limited seating. The tuna sandwich was very meh! Tuna was very soggy drenched in a lot of mayo. The only good part of the sandwich was the sour dough bread. The turkey sandwich was also meh. Wish it came in chunks of meat. Tip: Order on the Kiosk tablet instead of waiting on the long line! The line is way too long here. But luckily for their Kiosk ordering system, we were able to place our order on the machine and dine-in much quicker than those who waited on the line. There are 3 machines near the door entrance. The only downfall is that they don't have certain baked goods items on the machine for order. So if you really want that cheese danish, like I did, than I'm afraid you have to wait on the dreadful long line to order face-to-face. read more

My wife and I had lunch here yesterday. Tucked away in the middle of a sizeable shopping center, it's easy to miss this Panera from the main road (Hillside Ave.) Step inside, however, and you walk into the familiar confines of the well known chain. This location is pretty decent. Friendly staff and ample seating. Plenty of menu items to choose from. Well stocked bakery/pastry section. On this day, we had 2 flat bread sandwiches (Southwestern and Mediterranean) and large bowl of the creamy tomato soup. Due to it being busy during lunch, we had to wait about 5-10 minutes for our food to be prepped but it was all made well. Both sandwiches were tasty but didn't leave us feeling guilty. The tomato soup has always been one of my favorite items here and didn't disappoint. Parking can sometimes be a little tough due to all the neighboring businesses but that may be the only complaint. This place offers you a great place to work with lots of advantages: free internet, free coffee refills as long as you pay as minimum as $2, free water, free AC outlet, free heat, free bathroom, and it lets you stay as long as you want. Great people, you may leave your stuff unattended for a short period of time and they will still be where you left them. The customers are nice, polite and they do not disturb you, of course as long as you do not disturb them. In addition, it has a great environment with great lighting, good for reading and or working on a laptop. This place is the best compared to: Tous Les Jours, free WiFi but they let you die in cold as they don't turn the heat up and they don't offer free AC outlets, and free water. The workers do not know what is the meaning of Free and they haven't been at their competition for comparison and to know what is going on... Super Stingy! Cafe Bench, overpriced products with free WiFi and free bathroom. Temperature is ok, not too hot nor too cold. But, it lacks of free AC outlets. Stingy! Barnes & Nobles, free AC outlets, free bathroom use, free water, free browsing through their magazine colection, and free WiFi. However, WiFi seems not to be working properly most of the times... Temperature is ok, they don't let you die in cold or from the heat in the summer. An ok place... Apple Store, free AC outlets, free bathroom use, free WiFi... But no food to be digested inside... After seeing a long line at the counter, I decided to use the kiosk at the front entrance for the convenience of ordering. However, once I get to selecting a payment card/debit, the kiosk just keeps saying "communicating to card reader". The people behind us had the same issue with the 3 other kiosks too. The Panera Manager said they are waiting for them to be serviced , but there should be a sign that says they are out of service or do not use. It's such a waste of time to find out you can't pay once you decided to order what you want on the kiosk & left with anger and frustration. This is my local Panera store and they still haven't fixed them since last summer 2022 . Other than this, I've had no issues with this location. I ordered the chipotle chicken avocado melt and THIS is what I received. Honestly and absolutely GROSS just by the presentation of it. I ordered this for delivery and before I even opened the bag, something was leaking and it turns out to be the balsamic sauce i added in the order. Not only that, they served me avocado that's EXPIRED. Just look at the coloration of the avocado. And just by tasting the avocado too is expired and not fresh. The absolute worst location I have ever stepped foot in. The staff members are extremely incompetent and it's despicable that I'm forking over money to these idiots that can't even toast bread or operate a cash register. This morning I lost it! I worked a graveyard shift last night and I was starving on my way home this morning. I realized I really wanted a cinnamon crunch bagel with hazelnut cream cheese. After waiting on a long line that seemed like it was moving at a snails pace I finally got to the register and it was clear the kid working was VERY new. He took over 5 minutes to get my $20 order correct (no biggie) and in the process let me know that they didn't have hazelnut cream cheese ( now we have a problem). So, due to their lack of supplies I was forced to annul my bagel fantasy (I only like hazelnut cream cheese) and get a breakfast sandwich instead (egg whites, turkey sausage, spinach, tomato, on a asiago bagel). Long story short... my breakfast sandwich was burned and not like a little burned like burnt. I had to throw the entire thing out and I was/am livid because I spent nearly 50 minutes in total waiting in line/ordering/waiting for food I had to throw away. read more

This follow-up review is long overdue regarding this hot mess of a Panera location. I am truly a glutton for punishment for continuing to go here. Here's my issue: I frequently order iced coffee at this location via the mobile app. After placing my order, it sends you an alert and updates the app re: your beverage is ready & you can come pick it up on the Rapid Pick-Up shelf. From previous encounters, I always give at least 10 minute lead time before I arrive, since the task of placing an empty cup on a shelf is somewhat beyond their skill set. I arrive after 10 minutes, and cup is nowhere in sight. I now have to wait to get the attention of one of the employees there (they always seem to be super busy preparing their overpriced hospital food) and I have to go through same speech each time: "I placed an online order, said it was ready for pickup, it is nowhere in sight", at which point they hand over the empty cup. Some of the team members are familiar with me and are very pleasant / courteous, and know to reach for a cup as soon as I walk in. Here's the part that annoys me....why can't the cup simply be placed on the counter when it was supposed to be "Ready" for pick-up? They update the app / alert saying my order is indeed ready for pickup when that is completely false. I sometimes receive the alert 30 seconds after placing the order, only to walk in 10 minutes later to no cup in sight. There have even been times where I walk in and see my order ticket (no cup), just sitting on their back counter! HUH?? Why would you say my order is "ready for pickup" and then just have the order ticket just sitting there? I think I know why: Having worked in customer service management for over 20 years, I am well aware how that performance can be measured by time-driven metrics (i.e.: answer phone call in certain amount of time, prepare order in certain amount of time, deliver package by certain time, etc). My feeling is that these folks are measured on how promptly they "fill" online orders as they arrive. They see my drink order come through, immediately mark it as "completed" (to look like superstars for promptly "completing" order"), and then totally disregard placing my empty cup on the shelf. I truly do not understand how / why this concept is lost on them. I've timed it and it would take approximately 2-3 seconds to place the empty cup on the shelf per the ticket order...no idea why completion of this simple task is so difficult for them. At one point I spoke to a manager there and he attempted to provide an explanation re: delays in the system, orders getting backed up, etc. If that was indeed the case, why would I get a notification that my order was "Ready"??? Makes absolutely no sense. I am beyond frustrated with how difficult it is for their team to acknowledge my online order and simply place my empty cup on the counter. read more
