We stopped here late on a Saturday night for a milkshake as a dessert. The employees were all very nice, helpful and working very hard late at night. We waited a little for the milkshake but I think it tasted great!

I remember when this place first opened a few years ago. The lines were long and people were at the registers. Now I know why this place wasn't so busy when I recently stopped in. The restaurant was filthy, the registers were unmanned (self-service tablet was used for ordering), and employees were chatting and laughing it up in the kitchen--nobody that worked there could be seen. It was such an odd feeling, like the place was on auto-pilot. My daughter and I figured out how to order on the tablet, grabbed a cup for my drink, and went to the soda fountain to grab a Coke Zero. The drink was flat and full of a lot of foam..Diet Coke, same thing. Tried the Dr. Pepper...nothing but water. I just paid $3 for an unpalatable drink. When I finally was able to get the attention of an employee in the kitchen (interrupting the loud conversation taking place), she looked like she couldn't be bothered--and she wasn't. Nobody came out to the soda dispenser the 90 minutes I was there hanging out. Our food finally came out and it looked yummy. Korean BBQ burger, bacon avocado burger, two fries and a maple snickerdoodle milkshake. The fries and the milkshake were really tasty, but the burgers were nothing special. My daughter's burger looked like it only had half a bun and it was soggy; my avocado bacon burger was flavorless. This was a waste of $38 that included a tip that I now regret leaving. Certainly, nobody earned it that day. Such an underwhelming and disappointing first experience.

While I have heard about this place from many people, I have never stopped here before. Since I was out of town for work and wanted something sweet, we decided to stop. I had a shake and it was okay, not one that I will run back to have another but not bad either

We stopped by here for a quick bite. The location was not the cleanest but it was okay. We got our food to go. I ordered the Shackburger which was delicious. My husband and I split the bacon cheese fries. Those were filling and tasty. The service was okay overall, I love the food here so I will keep coming back

We were on our way to Swenson's and my wife said that she "craved" some Shake Shack. So we find ourselves in Shake Shack for the second-time ever. So half-way to Swenson's, I pull into a parking lot and head the opposite direction to head-over to Shake Shack in Pinecrest. Soo glad we did! The food, like before tasted great! The workers are friendly and accommodating and the place is kept clean and welcoming. The beverage and condiment bar was well-kept and everything was in-stock. We ended up getting a follow-up order of their bacon cheese fries as it was just so good. I also tried their 6 Ct nuggets (BTW, it was a nice surprise to find 7 in there! ). Those were gone quick, so quick I forgot to grab a photo. Similar to Chick-fil-A, in-terms of appearance, but much crunchier and a bit bigger. The BBQ sauce threw me off tho! It's less tangy, and it's not your Sweet Baby Ray's. Maybe I'll try some honey mustard next time. Maybe some people like the BBQ ‍ Anyways, again, we will be coming back. I'll also be utilizing the app next time, as in the last couple of months, we've already been here twice. I have a feeling we'll be seeing this place more and more.

To my surprise there was a Restaurant in a glass atrium and gave me vibes of being back in Orange County, CA or LA. We had reservations at 11:30 am. and arrived at 11:15 am. We were asked to wait. There seemed to be a lot of employees walking around and many tables were open but seemingly still had to wait. So 15 minutes later we were taken to our table. The air conditioning was definitely on point so bring a jacket. Our server warmly welcomed us and wished me well for Father's Day. Shockingly the restaurant didn't do anything special for fathers as a complimentary gesture. The server took our drink orders and waters came within minutes and after that everything went into "SLOW MODE". My daughter's Cesar salad came in about 20 minutes from the order. Our main entrees came out (1) Hour after the salad and my lamb chops and potatoes were warm at best. The flavor for the lamb-chops were wonderful but the potatoes were very salty. I would skip on the green beans as they had no flavor and only topped with kosher salt. My wife enjoyed her breakfast plate and the sausages were HUGE. The pancakes seemed to be the big hit. They were sharply thin and had amazing vanilla flavor on their own and were wonderful without maple syrup. They didn't last long as my daughter devoured my wife's portion. My daughter liked her truffle fries but had some challenges with the Steak Sandwich as her jaws were hurting after eating the first half. The type of roll used is very chewy and unfamiliar as we are originally from Philadelphia. (I know, bad decision) but she had her choice. No sweet treats for us. The ambiance is amazing but I would say that we would return. The food was fine except for my temperature but our issue was predominantly the wait time. Happy Father's Day

Our server was great, suggesting items since it was our first time here. We started with the Gem lettuce salad to share. The dressing was delicious and it was a good portion to share as a starter for 3 people. I had the Petite Filet for dinner which was cooked perfectly. The asparagus on the side was very charred. The plating of the dish was also lacking. The lobster roll sandwich plate was very empty. The sweet potato was great and the crème Fraiche was so good. My friends enjoyed their sandwiches. Overall nice restaurant and atmosphere but pricey.

This time, I brought my family along for lunch, and it did not disappoint! We took advantage of their happy hour specials, which included half-off pizzas, select appetizers, and drinks. We started with the Street Corn Nachos and added grilled chicken. They were absolutely incredible--easily some of the best nachos we've ever had. The flavors were perfectly balanced, and every bite was delicious. We also ordered the whipped feta, which was simply divine and a must-try. For our entrées, one person ordered the pepperoni pizza and really enjoyed it. I had the sausage pasta, which was fresh, flavorful, and surprisingly light while still being incredibly satisfying. The third entrée was the Thai noodles , and it was another hit. Everyone commented on how fresh and well-prepared their meal was. The service, as always, was impeccable. We were greeted immediately and seated right away. What really stands out about this restaurant is the teamwork. Everyone pitches in, whether it's bringing out food, clearing plates, or noticing your water glass is getting low. It doesn't matter if they're your server or not--they make sure you're taken care of, and that level of hospitality really makes a difference. The restaurant is also spotless, and I love that the open kitchen allows you to watch the team preparing the food. It adds to the overall experience and shows how much care goes into every dish. Whether you're stopping in for breakfast, lunch, dinner, or happy hour, this place consistently delivers. Great food, outstanding service, a welcoming atmosphere, and a beautiful space make this one of my favorite restaurants in the Cleveland area. If you're visiting the Pinecrest area, do yourself a favor and make this a stop--you won't regret it!

The restaurant is beautiful, with an upscale feel that makes for a nice dining experience. The service was also excellent--friendly, attentive, and efficient throughout our visit. We started with the Buffalo Cauliflower and Chicken Potstickers as appetizers. Both portions were a decent size, but the cauliflower was unfortunately very greasy, which made it difficult to enjoy. The potstickers were better, but neither appetizer was particularly memorable. For our entrées, we ordered the Strawberry Fattoush Salad and a Heckburger. The burger was solid and enjoyable, but the salad was disappointing. Fattoush salads are typically packed with fresh ingredients and bold flavors, but this version was mostly romaine lettuce and lacked the vibrant flavor profile we expected. At $14, it also felt underwhelming for the price. Overall, the atmosphere and service were the highlights of our visit. While the food was okay, it didn't live up to the restaurant's upscale ambiance or pricing. There are plenty of dining options in the area, and based on our experience, I think there are better places to spend your dining dollars.

Eight years worth of Fairmount moments later, this review is well overdue. AMBIANCE: The ambiance allows you to slow down and enjoy your company. The restaurant is dim lit, has fireplaces, and loungey atmosphere. It somehow feels warm and I heard a lot of people refer to it as a second home (people are always so friendly here!). There is ample space - three bars, main dining space, and huge outdoor oasis bar. Nestled in Cedar Fairmount neighborhood, you'll also be able to enjoy historic neighborhood. There are seating arrangements if you're craving company or want to enjoy your date. Seating options include couches by the fireplace, tables, and high tops. Fairmount is delightful during every season. During the summer you can enjoy the bar and patio. In the winter you can dine at the igloos. I prefer all seasons here. FOOD/DRINKS: The menu at Fairmount is impressive and has exciting seasonal/weekly additions. You'll never get bored. The cocktails here are refined, very boozy, and very well crafted. The food is seriously delicious, and consistent every single time. I've been impressed with every dish. The dishes and drinks frequently follow the seasons. During my latest visit I enjoyed Butter Pecan Warm Cider with bourbon ($12, so bold and boozy, tastes like fall). I also ordered Fig Trouble Little China ($15, a more rich version of Old Fashioned, so delicious). I also tasted Short Rib & Risotto for the very first time ($28, such a delicious dish, every bite was just amazing). My favorites? Ah, so hard! I'll go with the Fairmount Burger! It's angus beef burger with bacon-fig chutney. It's so delicious! I can't even be serious about meat at the other burger places, this is easily the best burger in the city. My seasonal favorite? Kevin McCallister seasonal drink that resembles coquito or eggnog. The drink is topped with rice paper that includes the design of Kevin from Home Alone. It's such a fun tradition! I look forward to this drink all year and always tell the world about it! SERVICE: The service is excellent. I haven't been anywhere where service is right on point every single time. Everyone is nice - the owner, hosts, and waitstaff. You truly feel seen and like the most important guest. I've visited previously while on dates and frequently dine here solo, always had the most pleasant service. EVENTS: Many people book events here for their non-profits or companies. As far as individual events, Fairmount hosts a fun NYE party every year! PARKING: Onsite parking lot is available at the back of the building. You can enter through the front doors on Cedar or right through the parking lot door. There are numerous reasons why I love the Fairmount. I consider it to be the best dining experience in the Cedar Fairmount neighborhood of Cleveland Heights. I also love how the owner Jake is very engaged in the community and is incredibly friendly with the surrounding business owners. I'll choose this place again and again for calming ambiance, crafted cocktails, and delicious food. To many more years of Fairmount and at Fairmount!
