I have Such mixed feelings, so I'll start with the food stuff. The food! This was a delicious burger- super high quality beef, yummy sauce, perfect bun. The fries were also great and I can normally pass on fries. This was my first visit to Orange Place, so this part is really a poor reflection on that location, but I despised it. The parking was horrible- we drove around for a while looking for a spot, and when we did we had to walk across a huge grassy area. Whyyyy they're not using that for parking I don't understand. This was frustrating enough that I'll never come back to this location. We walked in on a Tuesday at 12:30, so we expected to wait. But there was no line and we got our food in a reasonable amount of time. My biggest complaint was there are not enough seats! We stood around waiting for a place to sit for a while and we spent our lunch being hawked over. Service was not bad, but not especially friendly. Unless they open a location closer and more accessible, this was probably my last Shake shack trip. read more

Walked in at 6:30 on a Tuesday night. There was a line of about ten people waiting at the register with no employee in sight. We waited for awhile and then someone in front of us went to find an employee. There was an employee standing in the pickup area completely checked out and scratching her head. She came around and yelled at us to use the kiosk to order. We asked if we could order with her and she seemed genuinely bothered and annoyed that we wanted to order food. Not the best experience for me sadly and wish this wasn't the case because dining out with dietary restrictions can already be stressful enough. I'm here to tell you dreams do come true. For some reason even though Shake shack opened months ago I have waited this long to go there. It was amazing and delicious and it made my belly really happy. I went on a Saturday around lunch time so it was pretty busy but there was no line and I was able to order right away. The issue is in the winter time there's not enough seating but I was lucky enough to snag the last table. I waited less than five minutes for my food and the staff was super friendly. I ordered a The classics shake shack burger with bacon, cheese fries, and a chocolate shake. The first thing I ate was the fries because I don't like for my fries to get cold. I could drink that liquid cheese. Yes I know what I said and I meant it. That stuff is delicious and from now on I will be ordering extra to put on my burger because oh my goodness ahhhhmazing! Here they have crinkle cut fries with her not really my personal favorite but they actually were pretty good. They did kind of crumble easily when I had to use the fork to eat them but they were still delicious. The burger was good but I will next time will order a double instead of a single. Just wasn't enough burger for me. I did really enjoy the Shake shack sauce they put on there and I thought the quality of ingredients are pretty good. Last that chocolate shake was probably the best chocolate shake I have had in a long time. It literally tasted like I was drinking a chocolate candy bar. We love the burgers there. We went to celebrate last Thursday 10, some good news on my health! The food was amazing as always BUT the SMELL IN THE BATHROOM!!! OMG!!! was horrible! not just women's. also men's also all the zone! that is really not normal and really not nice at all!!! we ate outside and we never came back inside, it was HORRIBLE! As someone who really enjoys Five Guys, Shake Shack blows them away! I really enjoyed my visit! It's a little quirky to order, it's like Five Guys in that you have to wait in line and go up to the counter and order, then wait for your food to be done. But the line forms right in front of the door, which can get a little annoying. The food is GREAT! Their Double Shack Burger is a delicious, classic cheeseburger! Great burger flavor, and the perfect balance of burger, bun, toppings, and sauce. I was skeptical of the fries at first... Raising Canes has crinkle cut fries, and they are boring and bland. Shake Shack crinkle cut fries are the opposite! Crispy, flavorful, perfectly salted! And get the cheese sauce! It has a very unique flavor and is perfect for dipping! We thought we would take a ride to Pinecrest to get some really good burgers. We were pretty disappointed. I ordered 2 cheeseburgers ,one with no lettuce and one with crispy fries (extra $1.29) plus 2 fries. Nothing fancy. There only about 6 people there so they really weren't busy. Both sandwiches were made wrong. Taking the lettuce off was no big deal - but I went in to get the onions. After chec king with grill staff , she told me they were out of crispy onions but when I picked up my food they didnt bother to tell me or give me my money back. And no apology. By the time I got back in the car all of my food was cold. But they did remember to ask me for a tip upfront (but rolled their eyes when I questioned them on why they charged me for something they were out of) It will be a while before we go there again read more

A longtime staple of people who enjoy fast casual burgers, Shake Shack has finally arrived in the Land! If you've been to a Shake Shack before, it is exactly what you would expect in terms of the staples. Short version, overpriced but good burger, not enough seating depending on when you go. I found the customer service to normally be pretty good and the service staff to be courteous, but sometimes the tables aren't cleaned regularly when they are very busy. It looks like any other shake shack, modern and understated. There is only one floor and not many tables, so it can crowded at peak hours. There is outside seating for the 2 months of good weather in Cleveland, which helps when it gets crowded. My favorite burger here by far is the Shack Stack, which is their normal cheeseburger combined with a crispy deep-fried portobello mushroom injected with melted cheese. If you are a fan of mushrooms, you have to give it a shot! The soft texture of the potato bread combined with the crispy crunch of the fried mushroom and savory flavor of the meat is seriously one of my favorite burgers that I can buy. The tomatoes, lettuce, and shacksauce top this burger off that makes it quite the unbeatable combination. When I've had the normal cheeseburger this time around, it's still good but not nearly as unique or delicious. This will probably come down to personal preference, but it is still a solid burger. I'm pleased to say that the chicken burger here is quite great with the chicken breast being well-seasoned, crispy, fresh, and juicy. All these burgers are on potato bread, which I'm a huge fan of! But, I can't really say that it is really that different or better than a Chick-fil-A sandwich, so I'd suggest you stick with the The crinkle-cut fries are always nice and crispy, with just the right amount of salt. But have you ever been to the frozen section of your local grocery store and saw all those bags of Ore-Ida fries? These kind of taste like those. There is only one size/price here and it isn't that much for the price. Which brings us really to the real problem of this place. This is great fast food but it is just WAY TOO EXPENSIVE! All shake shacks have this problem though, and the prices aren't unexpected given its location. It is 4 - 4.5 star food at really small portions (the burgers are the size of those at MickeyD's), but the premium price just doesn't make it worth it. So, if you can afford it, you won't be disappointed if you set yourself reasonable expectations, but otherwise I wouldn't make it a regular destination. read more

I think this restaurant coming to Cleveland generated a lot of hype and buzz, especially being in a new location. I can't tell if I'm disappointed with it because it was over hyped or because it really just wasn't that great. My first issue is the prices, everything is a la carte. So you must add the fries separate. The milkshakes are separate of course but you can't pass on that at SHAKE shack. So we got those. And we each got a burger. We spent $37 on fast food. I was shocked when I handed my card over to the woman at the register. The burger was decent. No real complaints. I was happy with the fact that they used real bacon on my bacon cheeseburger. My shake was great. The fries were disappointing and when I come back I will definitely pass on those. They basically reminded me of frozen Ore Ida French fries. Absolutely terrible experience. Ordered my food online. Arrived PAST the scheduled time (to give extra time due to CoVid). I walk in, right away I am told to go back outside and they will bring my order out. I told them i am here for online pick up, not to order. She said it doesn't matter. I go outside, I see people who literally placed their order in person get their food before me. I walk back in after 10 minutes or so. I tell them again, I am here for ONLINE order pick up. She looked confused, couldn't find my order, said they are working on it and will bring it out. I am asked to go back outside again. I wait another 5 mins, I go back inside. Turns out my damn order was RIGHT BEHIND the lady the whole time (even before I walked in my first time) and she gave me a wonderful soggy, cold meal. YUM. My friend was visiting from NY last weekend and we decided to go there, I thought maybe they got their shit together. We arrived, the entrance was JAM packed with people. They literally had no idea what they were doing, ZERO organization. The workers there suck, point blank, that or the management as completely failed and dropped the ball on a good COVID system. This is not one of the most organized Shake Shacks I've visited. I had a concrete and it took 20 minutes. When they finally did get it to me, it was more melted than it should have been. (This is not the first time this has happened at a Shake Shack, but at least the other time I had ordered food with it, so it made a little more sense that they were trying to time the ice cream with the hot food, and had let it sit for too long.....I can't figure out this time why it would have needed to sit for any period of time, since it was the only thing I had ordered). It's a little too crowded in here and somewhat stressful. The app was easy to order through so I definitely recommend using it.The expected pickup time and when the order was actually ready was pretty close. By the time we got the burgers home they were still pretty hot and nothing was soggy. I got the regular burger, a milkshake and some fries. The burger was one of the best fast food burgers I have ever had. Like definitely top 3. The bun was perfect, the meat was perfectly cooked and juicy and the toppings on point. The burger was smaller than I expected but otherwise it was awesome. The milkshake was tasty and so were the fries. Overall I would definitely get the burger again. We've gotten so good at ordering on the app that we can time our drive there, and by the time we arrive our order is ready. The only thing I complain about constantly is that they don't have other options for sides other than the crinkle fries, which are good with cheese but we think Shake Shack would do well by offering onion rings, fried zucchini, or fried mushrooms along with a southwest ranch dipping sauce similar to that at Buffalo Wild Wings. read more

This food was really good. Interior is a bit noisy and chaotic with a semi awkward layout. The taste is solid on the burger, cheese fries, and dreamsickle shake. The only problem is you're paying gourmet prices for what is essentially a really good fast food meal, so a little bit overpriced for what it is. My wife and I looove Shake Shack. We've been to other locations in DC, NY and Vegas and we were super pumped when they put one within a half hour of us. If you get a regular burger, it's going to be okay here. Probably similar to Five Guys or something. You need to get a Shack Stack. It's in my top 2-3 burgers I've ever had. Even if you don't like mushrooms, it isn't too "mushroomy". It's deep fried gooey cheesy goodness and goes so well with the burger. I can't recommend it enough. You're ordering the wrong thing if you don't get one. Fries are pretty standard crinkle cut fries. Milkshakes are good but a little pricey. We got a hot dog at another location and it was delicious, so I'd def say to try one if you can. I believe the patio is dog friendly and many Shake Shacks offer a menu for dogs. It was really busy here so I didn't get a chance to look into that. The whole Pinecrest development is awesome. We took the dogs and walked all around. Tons of parking, and seating in other grassy areas to eat if your dogs aren't great on crowded patios. This location can get pretty crowded. Prepare to wait a little for your food, and seating can be tough to find. read more

Stopped in again at this popular joint and was just blown away by the amazing customer service - wonderful employees! After placing my order and sitting down to enjoy, two ladies made sure to stop by and see if I was enjoying the food and to recommend a mix at the fountain. I had already discovered a love for half Blood Orange-Ginger Lemonade, half regular lemonade BUT was offered a sample of Blood Orange mixed with soda water - sparkling goodness. My 'shroom burger was very tasty - I recommend taking a bite and letting the cheese inside to cool down from lava stage lest you burn your biters. Fast, friendly and tasty. So good - especially for a fast food-type joint! I love going to shake shack in NYC, so I had high expectations for the location near Cleveland. Needless to say, the food was up to par, the workers were nice and even checked on our table after we got our food, AND there's plenty of free parking nearby! So nothing too much to complain about! I had the spicy chicken sandwich which was really good. The chicken was very crispy but not too spicy. The sauce started dripping by the end which made it kind of messy to eat but it was fine. I went there on a Thursday, and i figured i would be safe, they had opened 3 weeks prior and i hoped it wouldn't be packed. Boy was I wrong. I did though get a nice interaction with Fox 8's Wayne Dawson so its a "celeb" spot for sure. But on to the food because thats what we are here for right? After getting through a 20 minute line (which went incredibly fast thanks to awesome and attentive staff) i had to wait another 15 for my food to be prepared and given to me. Come onnnnnnnn. They have a pretty good system i will give them props for that. You order, receive a buzzer and when it buzzes you can collect your food from the counter. Not too shabby. My food was PIPPING hot, im pretty sure some of my taste buds are still burnt off. I got a chicken sandwich and some bacon cheese fries, and a hamburger, $25 for that...no drink included. pretty pricey but im fancy so *holds up pinky*. The food was a bit overcooked, my fries were burnt, my chicken was kind of tough, the burger was good but very sloppily put together. This isnt the shake shack i remember from sitting in central park....no this is an imposter. But wait let me not get ahead of myself, obviously i did scarf it down because foodie, but knowing i had just wasted $30 on a jacked up version of a KFC chicken sandwich really grinded my gears. It had some tasty Shack sauce. The cheese was melted ever so perfectly on my juicy burger... I honestly NEARLY inhaled this thing. The fries were golden brown and had the absolute best texture which SURPRISED me because honestly I'm not a crinkle cut girl. These were far too legit to quit. I ate every single one. First time ever trying shake shack and I thought it was pretty good. All the hub bub about In and Out I dont get honestly I definitely like shake shack better. And overall I like the burger at 5 guys the best as far as fast food burgers go. Shake Shack's fries were crinkle fries and they were crispy that's a double win right there. I got the double cheeseburger and also was able to try the cheeseburger with the portobello mushroom. I preferred the old fashion double cheeseburger. Also tried a strawberry shake which was also yummy and I preferred it to the chocolate. This place is worth giving a try even if just for the nostalgia that we now have one in the Cleveland area. I got the single Shack burger, fries, and marshmallow chocolate chip shake. The burger wasn't bad, but it wasn't fantastic. I thought it was really small for how much it cost. Premium price little burger. Kinda of a rip off. Fries were ok, crispy. Shake was good. Tons of little chocolate chips. Had to share it. It was too much. Honestly 5 Guys or In n Out I'd say both are better burgers. Fries at 5 Guys rule. The shake was really good. But overall I was not overly impressed. But! Since their menu is so limited, and they are so pricey for so little, I will not be giving them five stars. Also, they are so busy and crowded. I hate that (not that that is their fault). If you haven't had it, definitely give it a try! The lettuce and tomato were fresh, shake shack sauce is delicious, and there were no soggy bun bottoms. Seemed to be a common issue constant people standing waiting for someone to get up. 3 burgs, 3 fries, 1 grilled cheese, 4 drinks and 4 shakes was $66 The burgers are on smaller side (probably actually the right portion just not what we see at a burger place) The crinkle cut fries were well cooked and crispy but sort of boring. There are no waiters here. You order at the register and pick up your food at the service window. The burger itself had good flavor and was cooked well. It was a thin patty. The fries were fresh but if you get cheese on them, make sure you eat them fast. The cheese isn't good when it's cold. I tried a strawberry milkshake and it was fine, nothing special. If you want whipped cream on that shake it'll cost you 50 cents. The price of the milkshake is absolutely outrageous to not already come with whipped cream. It was $5.19 and served in the same size cup as a small fountain drink which cost $2.55. Overall, the food is good but I drove from Cleveland to try this place and it's not worth the drive to come here again. The price isn't worth it either. Decided to try Shake Shack for the first time and made an online order. When we get there we received the message that it was done and it pointed us to the online pickup rack but yet there was nothing on the rack. The food was nothing more than mid. My girlfriend's sandwich, the Avocado Bacon Chicken, did not have avocado OR bacon on it. When she asked for some avocado and bacon an employee said they'd get it and then got on their phone for a few minutes before getting it. Very poor management I can tell. Very disappointed! read more
