This was my first time at Raising Cane's Chicken Fingers and I was super impressed. The gentleman at the register was really nice. He was helping me with understanding the reward points and gave me a card. Before I get to the food, I noticed everyone was working. There was a system and you can see it. It was productive and whoever was running this, kuddos to him because he reminded me of how a fast food restaurant should be managed. Ok, I ordered the chicken strip meal which came with fries, a piece of bread and a drink. That bread was a total surprise and really good. I asked for their signature sauce and honey mustard and they were both great, so I took turns dipping into each one. I decided to dine in and it was just nice to sit and enjoy a meal without people arguing, loud music and a dirty establishment. This place was so cleans and new. I'd never tried Raising Cane's Chicken Fingers until recently and boy did I enjoy it. I had no idea they mainly focused on chicken fingers which is an interesting choice, but holy moly - they know how to do chicken fingers right. Their fries and sides are good, and the staff were all very nice and very friendly. The dining room was super clean and had a real fun disco ball theme once you look around a bit. I'm glad we gave it a shot. We'll be back. Recommended to anyone popping in on their way to CostCo or headed down Robious Rd in need of a quick meal. read more

Cane's has the best chicken fingers period! This is REAL white meat chicken cooked fresh and lightly battered. There are a variety of combos. My favorite includes the 4-piece chicken, the sesame seed toast, fries, and coke slaw. They have Cane's sauce, but you really need to try their version of honey mustard. It's the best for dipping. Lots of big pa is fir parties too. Trust me...once you try it, you won't want to touch the chicken fingers at the other fast food restaurants. A group of us came here for the first time, one of our family members had been to a location in Texas and raved so we had to try it! The chicken was hot and juicy, with a nice crispy breading - loved it; the dipping sauce was incredible- more please; the Cole slaw wasn't too sweet and had a delish tang to it - yum; the fries were hot and fresh, but nothing amazing, just good ole carbolicious starch; the Texas toast was a welcome addition with its buttery soft texture; I chose the tea as my beverage - the ice machine was plentiful, the beverage station was clean, and the mixture of teas I got was refreshing! Several drink choices to suit your fancy! Fast food at its best! Fire dude! We "roosted" in a big round booth and didn't feel "cooped" up, but they also has high tops and regulars tables. The quick service impressed me; the guy taking our orders was efficient and brought out our food as it was ready to keep it hot, even if the other orders weren't up yet! Noooice! The place was im"peck"ably clean; loved the photo op mural, all and all it was a great time! My sister took me here and told me that they're known on the West coast. I was looking forward to trying it out. The inside looks like any other fast food, if that's what they're considered. I just got the chicken tenders and fries to begin with. It was actually really amazing. It definitely tasted a little fresher than your run of the mill fries elsewhere. The workers there were super friendly and helpful if we had any questions. I would say they're a little more pricier than most places, but if I'm craving really good chicken and fries, I'd stop by here. read more

Been here 3 or 4 times and the food is usually delicious, hot, well cooked and the place is clean yesterday, the food was just 2rm, barely cooked and the place was absolutely filthy with trash and food on the floor and our table was dirty as well. After all of the curiosity surrounding Raising Cane's we were finally able to give them a try. For our first visit the food was very hot, fresh, and delicious. I must say we wasn't excited about the crinkle fries, but we do appreciate the fact they aren't frozen. The chicken was flavorful, crispy, and of great quality. The texas toast and cole slaw was a nice little touch. Oh and that side of sauce is seriously DELICIOUS! However, at this point we've eaten here over three times and there is no consistency. The unfortunate part is the food is great quality, but doesn't always come out like our first visit. At least two of our visits we received soft not crispy chicken, smaller chicken strips, or bottom of the bin fries (you know the ones with no potato!). Customer service lacked, but that's not a deal breaker unless my food is not on point. Overall this place is worth a try if you enjoy chicken tenders, texas toast and good sauce. They added extra charges to my order that I then had to hold up the line to get taken off, and then didn't give me my drink, necessitating another holdup of the line for everyone. There was no communication between the employees, and after that I discovered a THIRD problem (got charged for extra toast they didn't give me) and left in frustration with this place. Cane's has brought something new to the Midlothian area. Everywhere closes so early if you are getting off work later or just need to run out for a quick bite, this is the place for you. The food is good, especially the fries. The service is always great especially with the morning crew. The ambiance is nice and in a safe area. One thing I have noticed is after the first set of managers left, the staff doesn't seem so happy. The two last ones that came seems to be micromanaging the staff. Food: - Chicken: always hot, fresh, and juicy - Toast: again always hot and fresh, buttery, and amazing - Fries: crinkle fries, no seasoning or anything, honestly nothing special - Canes Sauce: this stuff is addicting! I literally dream about it. I found a copycat recipe online and tried to recreate it at home - not the same. Get an extra - or two. Service: we have always had fine service. Sometimes it takes a while, but we're willing to wait for hot fresh chicken. Ambiance: nothing too special. Plenty of outside seating which is nice. We ran a test to see what the best option was - ordering in the drive thru, ordering ahead through the app, ordering in-store to-go, or dining in. I may have "raised" my expectations too high for Raising Cane's. When I was in grad school at UVA, I loved going to the location in Charlottesville. The food was always good and the staff was always friendly and efficient. I stopped by at 2pm on a weekday for lunch at the Midlo location about a week after it opened. I was surprised to see that the inside and drive through were still packed. The ordering process was smooth but I did wait about 15-20 minutes for my food to be ready. This makes it tough to get a "quick" lunch. The staff was all working hard and I was especially impressed with the young lady cleaning the dining room as she was thorough and friendly (but not pushy like dining room attendants can sometimes be). I do think the chicken here is better than the other national chicken finger chain in town (more moist and crispy) but can't compare to our local museum district option. Overall, I enjoyed my lunch and may return once the buzz has died down a little. Glad to have them in town! read more

This was my first time trying Raising Cane's and I have to say I was pleasantly surprised. I went in with an admittedly skeptical attitude since most fast food in the area has been disappointing more and more lately. I got there shortly after 1pm on a Thursday so I'm not sure if there is heavy lunch crowd but the line was basically nonexistent. The staff were very pleasant and polite and got my order correct. The only problem I have is this place in another that asks for your name. I always find this annoying as I think it's unnecessary and wastes time, especially since most times I must repeat my name because they don't understand. The food also surprised me as it was hot, fresh and delicious. The chicken was juicy and had the perfect crisp crunch. Even the fries were good and had a crisp to them when I expected them to be soggy since they serve those generic crinkle-cut fries which whenever I usually get them are limp, wet and underwhelming. The only complaint I have about the food is what it comes in. They serve the food in those big Styrofoam clamshell containers. The ones that trap all the moisture in and inevitably condensates and drips all over the food. So, you must eat quickly, if not you'll get a soggy mess. Now the price. Yikes! The only big issue I have, this place is crazy expensive, and this is the only reason I won't visit as much as I want to. I know costs are going up everywhere, but I think this is a little too much. I don't think my jaw has ever dropped so much as it did when I saw the menu prices. They can definitely do better here. Today was my first time trying this restaurant. I've heard good things about the food. I got the box combo. Asked for honey mustard (2) and ketchup. The chicken tastes disgusting. The honey mustard tastes off..it's the worst honey mustard I've ever had the misfortune to try. I was not given any ketchup, but a cup of an orangish colored sauce that's the best tasting thing in the entire tray, but even that sauce couldn't mask the taste of the food. Just horrible. :( It was definitely not worth the $12 I paid. Edit- I think my order was supposed to come with toast too, but I just realized that I didn't receive any. I Am leaving this review based on the way the employees are being treated here. Multiple Times during different shifts there are complaints of management Not allowing their staff to take breaks. With no breaks, means no food. They are working full shifts with NO break at all. Its unfair that staff are standing on their feet all day and cannot take their legally entitled break. If the only thing you focus on is chicken tenders, I would expect a better product. Additionally, they charge for sauce after we bought 10 tenders for almost $20.
