I decided to stop by for a half order of mojos and I was disappointed that the recipe has been changed. Now the batter and seasoning is different. You can never go wrong with a family day at shakeys . This will always be a childhood memory for me and to keep coming here with my little family . We get the package of pizza , chicken , mojos and separate some pitchers for the fam . Service is pretty great you pay for your food then wait to be called out to retrieve it yourself . The ladies at the arcade are very friendly and nice to the kiddos . I do wish they had more options for alcohol since I'm not much of a beer drinker but other then that I love it here . Every time we are in the Los Angeles area, we try to hit up a Shakey's pizza for a little bit of Nostalgia. We had them a long time ago on Bay Area, and really don't have any in NorCal. We had a recent moving party and of course the Beer part was taken care of, we needed to feed the "crew". This location wasn't to far away from the new address; and we ordered Fried Chicken, potato Mojos, and 2 Pizzas ( Combo and Cheese pizzas) pies. The guy on the phone was super friendly and our order was ready before the quoted time. It was a Football Sunday and Baseball Playoffs, but it was ready ahead of schedule. Everything was delicious and it seemed liked the right amount of food. Definitely worth the stop and it was close enough to make the trip since it was close. read more

Dang. Shakey's has really become stingy with their portions. First they put the chicken in the same box with the mojos. I've seen them fit both a 4-piece and 8-piece, respectively, into a box with a full order of mojo's. Now they've separated the chicken (only a 4-piece order) from the mojo box. But the portion is still so ridiculously small. Either get a smaller box for the mojo's or raise the price. read more

On 12/26 - A friend and I called at 5:02pm to ask about pricing for Pizza, Chicken, Mojo (PCM) Family meal. We spoke to a male who didn't sound too thrilled to be there as he responded to our questions with one worded answers and prices. Fine... we hung up meanwhile we decided what to order. I called back at 5:12pm and talked to Nick. We placed the order for a Medium PCM family meal for Wendy were told it was 27.99. Great, they told us 30 min. We showed up probably 45 mins later to pick up the food. I forgot my mask so I had to stay in the car. My two friends got off to pick up the food and pay. We parked right at the front so I was able to see right into the establishment and can see something unfolding because I'm not seeing payment being taken and all I see are words being exchanged back and forth. A few minutes later my friends come out with no food. Turns out the individual that took the order over the phone, wrote down a Large PCM meal instead of Medium. When my friends arrived, they were told by Nick that the order for "Wendy" was not theirs as many people call in for PCM meals and that he was not going to give us the order. Apparently there was another Wendy that ordered the same thing we did (just one size up) at the exact same time. Nick which is who they dealt with, was being completely unreasonable and would not admit that he input the order wrong. This is clearly what happened. He even had them show them the phone call log for evidence on their phone. Yet still he wouldn't budge. The food had been sitting there for almost an hour at this point and he was still stuck on the idea that that order was not ours, but for a different Wendy who would still be coming for it. Apparently our order didn't exist. There was only one other male working at the time and he admitted to never taking an order for Wendy. All fingers pointed to Nick who did nothing to accommodate us nor did he offer any solutions. He told us that in order to get our original order we would have to order it in the moment, pay then wait 30 more minutes for the food. We asked if we could pay for the Medium price, and take our food. Seems like a reasonable solution for the paying customer. But nope not for Nick. He repeated ten times that that wasn't our order! THEN WHOSE IS IT NICK?!!! He said "there's only one Wendy here and that's not your order so yours has to be under a different name" My friend said, "it was placed under Wendy. No other name." He goes "tell me another name" -______- She said it's Wendy! I am Wendy!! It's under my name!" He would not give us that order, he never offered any solution, did not show any compassion and kept repeating the same thing over and over and got defensive multiple times and even threatened to kick them out. Customers were overhearing and started to complain about the customer service at this Shakeys location and said they NEVER even answer the phone. We left without any food. Nick was disrespectful to my friends, never admitting to writing down the wrong order. Once my friends told me what happened I called and asked to speak to the manager on duty. The person said what is your situation? (Take one guess who answered the phone) I said, I will explain my situation to the manager, is there one on duty? They said That's me! Okay what is your name, I asked. "Tell me your situation first and then I'll tell you my name" , I said no I need to know who I am speaking with first. Once again I was hit with, "once you tell me why you're calling I'll tell you my name" I don't know what one thing has to do with the other. It was very obviously Nick who was on the line and we got nowhere... I hung up and told him I would be taking this up with someone above him. I'd like to speak to the owner of this Shakeys as we have never received such POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE IN OUR LIVES. Completely ruined our dinner plans, and our night. What a shame ... read more

The woman's restroom had no hand soap and this was the first time I used it . I used the restroom the 2 nd time and a worker was in there acting like she washed her hands n when it was my turn there was absolutely no hand soap in the dispenser. I'm really struggling whether to give this location 2 or 3 stars. I typically order ahead for pick up and don't dine in. One of the primary reasons is every time I go, the games are off or are broken. This doesn't sit well with my 5yo. Tonight I think has been the worst. When I arrived, there was a line to the door. Only one girl at the register taking orders. Well I ordered ahead and for a reason. I didn't want to wait and was in a rush. Regardless, I was told I had to wait in the long line to just pay and receive my order- which took 30 minutes to get through. By the time I got my food, it was cold and soggy. The taste the wasn't the usual, so I'm not sure what they changed or because it had sat for 45 minutes before I was able to get home and eat. Completely disappointed. $60 for cold food. Most places have a "pick up" line so customers don't need to wait. One person in front of me also called ahead and was waiting a long time. He finally gave up half way in and left without his order. So not only did the store lose a sale but food was prepped for a customer who wasn't getting it. Double loss for Shakeys. I think the manager needs to revamp the process to keep customers. read more

The worst experience ever!! Do not come to this location if you have a special needs child. Today is my grandsons birthday he wanted to go to Shakey's, we went around 6:30 pm it wasn't very busy, just a few tables were occupied.There was a party of gentlemen celebrating what appeared to be someone's retirement, they were a little loud. My grandson being autistic started to get agitated so we asked the manager if we could please sit on the other side of the restaurant, we explained our situation to her. She responded NO we can't sit over there because that area is reserved for parties only. We told her we just wanted to eat our food and we would leave, we said to her we would make sure to clean everything around us so her employees wouldn't have to clean.
