I wish there was a another sauce I don't like cilantro but all in all the flavors we could anyway. First time going and I loved it ! Very comfortable once you walk through the doors . The first thing you may notice is all the names written all over the place , which they allow you to do once you are done eating . I happen to love that touch ! The wait to be seated wasn't long at all . BUT I did take away from a star cause once seated and placed our orders , we did happen to wait a while and my sister had ordered wine for about $7 and you literally get half a cup . You could honestly just buy a whole bottle at the Liquor store for about that much . They do bring popcorn out , but that was gone within 4mins cause it was 5 of us . The food was amazing !!!!! It's pricey, but you get a ton of seafood. We went for dinner, 3 adults and a 4-year-old (who ate chicken fingers). We each got a combo meal and some hush puppies to share. The crab legs were the highlight of my meal, but everything else was fabulous. The only thing I would change would be ordering an extra potato and probably splitting the combo meal with someone. It's not a place we could afford to eat once a week, but we'll definitely be back for more. read more

During my last visit my partner and I waited over 2 hours for simple orders while watching countless take out orders being fulfilled. We eventually got fed up and just left. I will say as a customer who has been to shaking crab a couple times I didn't really enjoy this place the sauce was not the best usually at shaking crab I have a bag full of flavorful sauce this place was very skimp with the sauce &the meat & did not have that flavor it was also a bit salty I ordered 1 lb king carbs & only received 2 crab legs they were big but I was not even full at the end of bag when I go to shaking crab I leave nice & full & satisfied I even have left over sauce in my bag to take home & make additional shrimp at home with left over sauce. Yum! Even better than I anticipated. Staff was super nice and gave wonderful suggestions. I got the lobster with the Shaking Sauce and a side of hush puppies and my husband got the snow crab and crawfish with the Cajun sauce. If you order more than $50, you get a complimentary pound of clams (or two other choices, I can't remember what they were), so we were able to try those with another sauce too. The special of the night was lobster, so I went with that with a pound of mussels and shrimp. Upon the recommendation of the staff, I went with Cajun flavor, medium spice. The food was prepared perfectly, steamed in a bag with the seasoning and served with redskin potato. The flavor, texture and temperature were outstanding. Don't let the mussels surprise you; they are huge. I'm fairly sure they are green lipped mussels from New Zealand based on the size and markings on the shell. We had fried shrimp - 8 large shrimp well battered and fresh. The onion rings were tender and crunchy. Fried catfish was also fresh, mild and sweet. Sides of corn, potatoes good. Hushpuppies were plain, not tarted up with spices, and were great with one of the several dipping sauces available. Everything was fresh and hot. I brought snow crabs with corn to go. I asked for extra shaking seasoning sauce. When i got home, there was hardly no seasoning in the bag. Looks like they were skimping on the seasoning. juice in the bag was somewhat watery. The flavor comes from the seasoning mixture. The corn ws dried out, even with the seasoning. I was totally disappointed with this place. Although this is close to home, I Won't return. Shaking Crab in other locations are much better. read more
