Great place to go for toenail Tuesdays. It's $13 on Tuesdays to get your creature's nails trimmed and filed. It's around $18 if you go on a different day. Ear cleaning, perfume and breath spray is also included in this price. I used to get a full groom on my little dog but the prices have gotten a bit ridiculous in a short amount of time so I started clipping myself. The last time I went in it was $50 for a bath and trim around the feet, butt and belly. This wasn't a full groom which would have been about $65! This is a 9 pound dog! Besides that, he wasn't sanitary trimmed short enough so I had to trim him up myself 2 weeks later. I'll continue to go on toenail Tuesdays because it's a nice deal but if anyone has any suggestions of where else to get toenails cut and trimmed in town for a reasonable price feel free to message me. read more

There mobile service is one of the best I have used. Shout to Sam!!!!! She is AMAZING!!!!!! My dogs are not very comfortable with other people. Sam made them feel comfortable and relaxed during the grooming. I was amazed at how she could get them to trust her. One of my dogs is not easy to handle, he can be a handful... Took my big shepsky into this salon for the 1st time today and I couldnt be happier. If you know Shepsky's, you know how much they shed. Susan took such good care of our boy and de-shedded him so well, there is hardly any hair falling off him. He also isn't a huge fan of getting his nails clipped and she was able to trim his nails so beautifully without it bothering him at all. Super impressed with this salon. After being greeted by the Salon manager, I met Mikayla who was going to groom my little Baby Charlie. Of course he was scared at first, but Mikayla was very gentle and kind with Charlie. My family and I are new to this area. Finding a good groomer is highly important to us. I have a German Shepherd who spends most of her time outdoors. So it's important to us for her to get her bath once a month. Last week I called around to find a groomer that was available short notice to take my dog in. And Shampooch was the 3rd place I called. They were able to fit in Mylo. When I arrived to drop her off they staff was very friendly and said they would be done with her in a hour. Which surprises me since more groomers take 3-5 hours. Super bummed that I'm giving this place four stars, but at this moment I can't justify giving five....... First time around, WONDERFUL! Just moved to the area, came in for their Tuesday nail special and couldn't be happier. Staff was friendly, prices were more than reasonable and to top it off, they are walking distance from our house. SOLD! We inquired about their mobile service, but after talking to the girl helping us out, I believe her name is Courtney, we decided to just go into the shop. Why not? Save a couple bucks and since it's so close, we can walk our dogs and get a cup of coffee at East, makes sense. We got a rough estimate price, scheduled an appointment and away we go. Fast forward two weeks.....I bring in our dogs for our 9am appointment, and walk in to some sort of tension. Not sure the details, but you could feel it. Let the ladies up front know I was there for my dogs appointment, and to my surprise I'm told they don't have one? Hmmmm, ok. Nothing under my name or number, and nothing under my wife's either. She asks when I called in for the appointment, I let her know I didn't, I thought I made it two weeks ago when my dogs were there getting their nails clipped. Long story short, she was nice enough to offer us an appointment an hour later, at 10am, which I was totally happy and ok with, mistakes happen and they were kind enough to fit us in so it wasn't a waste of time. Later in the after noon I go to pick our dogs up, and back to day one we go, super friendly girl at the front desk, same for another girl in the back trimming another dog; this is more like it. I get my total, and it is a lot less than I expected. I ask, wanting to make sure A. My dogs got the service we were expecting and B. To make sure we aren't undercharged, the plan is come back in the future after all! I ask if their teeth were brushed, I believe the answer was yes? Never really got a straight answer to be honest. If they were, it looks like that was the pricing mistake, she fixes it, charges me the correct amount and away we go. My point to this is by NO MEANS to discredit or be that person to write a bad review. I'm actually not one for reviewing 100% of the places I visit, I actually prefer to review the places I enjoy and intend to let others know they can expect the same positive experience. That being said, a couple things that can be tightened up. Hopefully next time around we don't have the appointment confusion, nor the service/pricing one. read more

After maps took me to the wrong location (since there are a million groomers in Temecula) we showed up 10 minutes late & they completely understood. The woman who groomed him was very informative, kind with my wild child & suggested what was best for his hair type & how to take care of it afterwards, since I had no idea. This place is awesome! I'm the owner of 2 Cavaliers and have taken them to almost every grooming place in the valley trying to find the right people and prices. These girls are SUPER well trained and professional, and often come to Shampooch from the surrounding schools and competing businesses in the area. I know this because I've been recognized by the same groomers at different locations. I have had SERIOUS concerns with some of the most well known and popular businesses in the area. For instance, my dogs were once kept for SIX HOURS, CAGED WITH NO WATER OR FOOD OR ABILITY TO GO TO THE BATHROOM! This happened at one of the MOST well known groomers in the area, and they also sell a bunch of pets and supplies (I'll let you guess whom I'm speaking about. Lol) When I expressed my concern for treating my dogs like that, they had a very flippant attitude and barely cared. They were cruel, unnecessarily so! I can't ethically take my pets to a place like that, especially if they're charging you more than anyone else in the area for basic services! Shampooch treats animals with dignity and respect and they take serious pride in their work. I'll never go to another place again after finding these girls! I've been taking my dogs here for over a year now. The staff is friendly, but they all refuse to leave my dog's nails alone. At first I thought it was a glitch, but i've made it a point to specifically and directly make sure they understand that I do *not* want them to clip their nails. One of my dogs hates it, and he has snapped at a groomer before, so they muzzled him. His nails aren't long, or mangled up or bothering him in any way. He walks on cement every day and has no issues. In fact my Vet says the cement walking helps keep his nails in check, and that the nerve is probably longer in his nails, which is why he hates it. The last time I took them, I was asked (by the owner I think) why I don't want their nails clipped. We had at least a 5 minute conversation about it. And when I picked them up, both pups had their nails clipped! I honestly don't know why they refuse to listen, but it's the last time we'll be going here. It's a shame cuz the prices are good and it's really close to my home, but if they're not going to follow a simple request, we just can't go there anymore. read more

We made the appointment for the mobile grooming service and Alec was very professional, prompt, caring and very informative. Bandit came out happy as well, I can tell because the last time he had a grooming from another business, Bandit ended up sitting in the corner of the kitchen the rest of the day with his head low. The first time we brought my dog in for grooming we had a good experience and liked the way he was groomed and nicely cut , so we decided to go back , this time my experience wasn't so pleasant and was a bit disappointed . So my dog has had a little anxiety due to changes at home mostly walking back and forth at home at night, he really needed a haircut because he is very fluffy and this hot Temecula weather has been crazy , my husband made the appointment and I took him in . I believe I was their last appointment before they closed . I walked in and she started Observing him and right away suggested he needed a super short haircut because he had knots , ( my husband had brushed him a day before ) she said the hair looked like it been chopped wrong in certain areas and just said it has to be super short ( we never chopped parts of his hair off ) it's just the way his hair grows . So I pretty much had no option to choose a style for him . It only took them about 45 min and then got a call he was ready to get picked up . My husband is usually the one that takes him to the groomers so they kept texting him and sent a video of my dog barking . When I got there they told me he wasn't allowed back unless we have him on CBD products because he kept barking and moving a lot and pooped while service she seemed pretty frustrated while she was telling me all this and his hair was super short where you can see his pink skin underneath , I agreed with whatever they told me , but what upset me after was that I got charged more than usual she said $67 and he's a medium size dog (shitzu mix) at first i asked if that was the usual price as before and she said yes but we also charged you $5 extra because we needed another person to hold him still . But I remember my husband paying around 50 before but somehow I got overcharged , and I wish they would have told me about the extra fee on top of price but I had to ask them in order for them To tell me ? I feel like i got overcharged and not just that but she buzzed almost all his hair to make it an easy cut ! Like I said you can see the pink skin . We usually like the hair short during summer but not the way he got buzzed it was bugging him for a few days , Anyway first time a groomers told me my dog isn't allowed anymore unless treated because he was acting like a dog ? I understand if he bit someone or was Aggressive but he wasn't . Plus girl seemed frustrated that she even send my husband videos of him barking and I can feel the negativity . Worst grooming ever! They butchered my dogs fur, and didn't do what we asked for. We've brought out pooch to this place several times in the past and they used to do a great job, but the past couple times, it's been awful. Had a very good experience here! Scheduled an appointment and showed up at the time we agreed upon. Was greeted by a kind employee who took my dog and gave him some love to make him feel comfortable. They did an excellent cut, exactly what I asked for with expert hygiene trim. My dog is normally itchy after a hygiene trim, but they got nice and close with no discomfort for my pup. They finished in two hours, which is very reasonable to me given the mid day week day appointment we had. Usually I am used to 3-4 hours in Orange County.
