Placed an order for pickup via DoorDash. I was notified that the food was ready before getting there. Great! Once I arrived to the counter, I can see a bag behind the counter. Once my presence was acknowledged, I informed the woman I was picking up an order and showed her the order details on my phone while verbally reciting what I ordered. The woman reached for my phone and was trying to exit the order details screen to hit the option that said I picked up my order. So, now I'm confused because she had yet to hand me my order. She then turns and said something about the computer not closing the order out. I asked her why would I hit the I picked up if she had yet to hand me my bag so I could verify it is my order and that everything was there. After a moment, she handed me the bag as I hit the I picked up. All the food was there but was not prepared as requested. I had ordered the General Tso Tofu and requested it be prepared extra crispy. It was not. The flavor of the food was okay. I am dissatisfied that the food was not prepared as requested and that my food was held hostage because the woman who should not have been trying to touch my phone wanted me to acknowledge picking up an order I had yet to receive. What a nice little surprise for me today in Orlando. I was not expecting much from this little Chinese takeout restaurant, but they surprised me with the stellar food and service. I often like to order off of the "secret menu" everywhere I go. The nice short Chinese men behind the counter working the woks said he could chef up a quart of Young Chow Fried Rice ASAP, no problem for the low price of $13.95. Young Chow Fried Rice is all that I order when I have a craving for Chinese fried rice and this place makes it excellent. I ordered some to go and had the L5. Curry Chicken w/ roast pork fried rice lunch special since it was too early to feed the family and roast pork fried rice is the default lunch special fried rice, "NO SUBSTITUTIONS!!!" as the old joke goes. The food was all prepared quickly and uber delicious . The ambience is straight clean Chinese takeout joint, about as good as it's going to get until you go to a white table linens and white glove $35 - $55 per person 5 star Chinese restaurant. I ordered here by accident tonight because they have the same name as the one that was by my house and didn't know they had closed permanently. I Googled for a new number thinking the number had changed. The egg drop soup was excellent, the egg rolls just like I like them, crispy and full. We ordered Pepper Stake, Chicken in Garlic Sauce and Broccoli in Garlic Sauce and everything was delicious. Fried rice goes crazy good, it's the perfect amount of meat. Ask to add extra steak! It's the perfect amount for the price. My bf and I eat this rice almost every night lol, it's pretty close to the hispanic "arroz chino"!! The service it's pretty forward and straight to the point, they're quick! So, my lunch did not exactly work out. I had many chances to leave, but I was hungry, and had already turned over the money, so leaving without food was not really an option. It needs a lift. The people need to eat happy meals. They are sad people, and the decor is sad as well. At least one of the two needs to be impressive, but neither was in this instance. I could not help but think of people laboring endlessly in life, the hardships, the pain. . .what are we here for anyway? while watching this crew assemble my meal. It's a place that makes you believe in posted health department ratings. I've been here a few different times its never been the best but today I ordered spare rib, rice chicken and broccoli and that came off of the combo I also ordered fried chicken wings with a side of fried rice the rice was amazing but something was really wrong with the chicken and broccoli the taste of it was just disgusting I don't know what's going on in the kitchen but it was really bad the fried chicken wings weren't crispy at all the spare ribs didn't have any sauce on them they put the sauce on the side which is just weird right the staff was nice but all together I would never recommend this place to anyone read more

I give this place zero stars. I was very new to the area and was searching for a Chinese takeout to become my usual. I regret not turning around and walking out the door from which I came. The appearance of this store is something of a horror story. Ever saw a very cliche video of what a bad restaurant looks like on a movie (I.E. larry the cable guy health inspector), well this was it. I am never someone to judge a book by its cover and also am very adventurous when it comes to food so I ordered something I thought no Asian restaurant could mess up... a general tsos combo...with eggroll. I got home and opened my paper bag of food and opened my container of general tso's. Most General tso's has a nice golden brown sauce tossed into crispy fried chunks of chicken.... this looked like several gobs of black tar. Once again not being one to back down I took my first bite. It tasted like pure grease. They even messed up the eggroll.... it was saturated in grease ( and I normally like a slightly oily eggroll) never again. The food is terrible the rice isn't fried, i ordered pork fried rice and received steamed yello rice with a few scarce pieces of pork, no vegetables. I also ordered a lunch special shrimp and broccoli. The shrimp was totally under cooked and it was clearly obvious that the food was not at all fresh. The "sauce" was gelatinous, and distasteful. The only thing that I enjoyed about my meal was the texture of the rice it was very soft and fluffy despite the fact that it was tasteless.
