Made an appointment online for 230pm and received text reminders. Showed up on time and they didn't seem to have any idea I was coming (not busy at all). They were very sweet offered tea/water while I waited but I waited 45 minutes then when she started working on my nails she got up 5 minutes later to do someone's wax. They had snacks and light refreshments offered as well as calm music playing in the background. My technician, Molly, was absolute perfection! From my manicure to my pedicure to my eyebrow wax, she paid 100% attention to detail. The downside of this is that it was a very slow process. I personally would rather sacrifice my time than to a sloppy job, so I left the salon, extremely happy. They are new to the area and they are trying to upsell everything, which I completely understand. So if you go be prepared to try to get sold on everything, but in the meantime, if you just go in for what you need rest assured that you are going to get one of the best manicure/pedicures of your life. They include in their $42 pedicure spa treatment a 10 minute lower leg massage. They actually set a 10 minute timer so that you know you're paying for exactly what you get! They are a mini Medi spa, which is very enticing to people like me who may be desiring other treatments for a reasonable price without going into the city. They are brand new to the area, all of their equipment is top-notch and very clean. Included in their pedicure, they employ a facial steam piece of equipment so that while you are getting your pedicure, your legs and feet are surrounded at all times by warm air. It's a small thing, but much appreciated! The staff is very friendly and welcoming. They offer tea, coffee, water, and I believe wine. It was a very relaxing environment with classical music playing at all times. Just what I needed to relax from a stressful week. I highly recommend this location and its staff. Shanyuan has exceeded my expectations in so many ways. First of all, the salon is spotless clean, the employees are very nice and they all speak English. I have tried all of the nail salons on High Ridge Rd. and Sanyuan by far is the best. They not only do the best powder manicures and pedicures which are not expensive at all and last over an hour. I made an appointment and did have to wait a little but didn't mind. My technician and the team stayed late until I finished. Other salons would have sent you out with a half ass job. Have been wanting to try this salon for some time now and I'm so glad I did. First, it's extremely clean which is a huge plus for me! I had the best pedicure ever and my manicure was perfect. The staff was polite and friendly, they even offered me water, snacks and chocolate! They offer many different services sort of like a mini medi spa.
