    Matcha Red Bean Milk Tea
    Reeven S.

I've been to several Sharetea locations, and this one stands out. It is very spacious inside, not too busy, and offers very fast service. I ordered the Matcha Red Bean Milk Tea, and I think it's my favorite boba drink I've ever had at a Sharetea location. I usually prefer fruit teas for their refreshing qualities, so that says a lot about this milk tea flavor. The drink was not overly sweet, and they added plenty of boba and red beans. The red beans were a fantastic complement to the matcha milk tea flavor. Overall, a very solid drink and service.

the workers are so kind here! took a funny prank very well after we noticed it was a slow day. we called them while in the building and responding worker took it well. definitely changed my view on this store a lot and will be back! drink was also good too ;)

This is a nice place to grab a drink while you're shopping. There were three employees working last night and my drink came up before I could take a picture of the Christmas tree in the corner. Although I wanted 10% sugar level, they only offer 0% or 30% - nothing in between. I do like that you get a wide variety of fruit teas and milk teas. The staff was patient and cordial and the price was reasonable. Here's What I Think... I'll definitely be back when I'm in the area.

One of the better Shareteas around. It's located in one of the more well known shopping centers in this area, so if you can find the shopping center, you can find this Sharetea, albeit it's towards the inside of the area. It's not a very big location, but the building itself is pretty new. It's located right next to a robot server hot pot place, which I'm curious about at some point in the future, but I digress. There's a couple of tables inside for seating, but again, it's not a very spacious atmosphere, so I wouldn't think of this at a hangout spot other than just going there with friends to grab some boba. They do seem to always be pretty busy with people lining up and filling half the room often. We usually do online ordering, and this is probably one of the best parts about the place, or at least the only experience we've had thus far as we've never ordered in-person, so can't quite speak to that part yet. However, the online ordering here is very quick and efficient. Drinks are almost always on time as expected. And they're pretty good with handling people as they walk over to the counter to do the pick-up. However, if you order online, you'll have to use Sharetea directly for that, so just make sure you have that set-up prior to heading over and trying to order on the way there. The pricing here is standard of Shareteas, and the menu etc. are all the same. Drinks here are also tasty. No issues with it as I've always thought quality for Shareteas overall have been great, with the service that usually fluctuates quite a bit. Will be back to this location in the future again for sure if I'm in the area.

    Hot taro milk tea

This place is in a strip mall/shopping center. I got the hot taro milk tea, which I would not recommend (but that's not the shop's fault) , but I'll def come back to try others. I came on a Monday at 6 PM and it was hopping, so it must be popular. Despite this, the baristas were very quick and considerate! It is pretty small, but they do have four outlets and wifi. I'd recommend it as a place to quickly catch up on emails or the like, not for long study sessions as the in and out could be distracting. Four stars because they closed their restrooms to the public. :/

TOGO ORDER ONLY: DRINKS: I ordered my usual: House milk tea with boba, grass jelly, and lychee jelly. I always get 50% sweet cuz the sweetness from the boba is already strong. Strawberry green tea with no toppings. And my husband his mango pearl tea with boba. SERVICE: Was really easy and no line which i definitely appreciate. Went over my order and everything went smoothly. PRICE: $20.00 and under for three drinks is pretty normal and i dont mind paying for these drinks bc i am craving it always! OVERALL: I will definitely b back for sharetea. My house milk tea was really great and i loved it. There r couple shareteas around my house and will make effort to go there.

The drinks here typically run sweet. I'll order 30% sweetness and the drinks still seem far too sweet. So a minus star for that. Another is the logistics. If I order online, I find that the drinks take a while to finish, around like 15-20 minutes. And then even though I pay online, when I get to the store, I have to wait in the regular line even when I'm just picking up the drinks. They should definitely change their logistics to accommodate online orders better. Other than that, this is a great place because they have a lot of different flavors and toppings. It's pretty popular too since there's always a line when I go.

I like this place better than others. They know how to do their job very fast and very good service. That is why I'm giving them 5 stars.

    Mango Green milk tea

Inflation ain't no joke.. $6-$7 now for a drink now? Mango green milk tea is a must at Sharetea and quality remains decent + drink remains delicious. There's plenty of parking here as it's located in a plaza with other shops -- dimsum, food to go, groceries, etc. Drink came out pretty quick [but not sussy fast]. We did see one of the person preparing our drink in the back blowing his nose and did not wash his hands after.. We were nervous consuming our drink but with that $6-$7 spent, we gotta do what we gotta do and hope for the best.

    Ask the Community - Sharetea

They told me to order online but the website on Yelp doesn't even let us order drinks?

You can walk-in and order now.

Do they open at all currently for take-outs?

Yes, they are open for take-out!

Do they use cows milk or almond/soy milk? I'm lactose intolerant.

Not sure, however they do have many dairy free options.

    Are there any non-dairy options?

Yes! They have plenty of fruit tea, brewed tea, and non-dairy ice blended options.

Can I combine stamp cards to get a free drink?

Usually if you ask them, they'll combine them for you. Being a forgetful person, once had multiple and have asked them to combine it all onto one. Never had an issue here.

Workers are always friendly, even when it's busy, and I've never had a bad experience. I love their Toffee Coffee, especially iced since it comes with toffee bits. Definitely on the sweeter side, recommend if you're more into sweet drinks and being up on sugar instead of caffeine (however they do have more caffeine forward options). Ambience is nice, tall open windows so there's a lot of light that comes in and there's always music playing. Not a lot of tables for big parties, but they also offer some couches with tables in the back. Cheese Bacon Crepe w/ Pasta: 9.5/10, delicious, my go-to. super filling, also has chicken & mushrooms. Pasta is not the most flavorful, but definitely does its job as just the side dish and I always end up finishing it anyway. Toffee Coffee: 11/10. One of my favorite coffees that I definitely treat as more of a sweet treat. The toffee bits in the iced toffee coffee are my favorite. I always crave to get this when driving on Hesperian.

(It was worth the 13 mile drive for me.) With floor to ceiling windows welcoming in the comfort of daylight and warmth of Californian sunshine (thank you A/C), this cafe sits high above Castro Valley overlooking the distant hills and the bay, depending on where you sit. It's in the front space of a church and upon walking in (my third visit), I feel held by the Lord. Strangely, I'm feeling tears well up because this is the exact sort of space I've been needing as I go through some challenging life circumstances. It is peaceful here but it also has a vibrant community energy on a Thursday late morning. This space is welcoming to all of the bay are community and if you didn't know it was a church, you would never know. It's for the whole neighborhood and beyond. There are tall round tables, bar tables, normal round tables, armchairs at tables, long barnhouse style tables. This space was thoughtfully curated to allow for relationships to be grown, work to be done, and quiet time to be experienced. The Americano I had is nice and strong (whoowee... I'm awake now!). They had interesting drink options and some baked goods. Prices were average for the Bay Area. I love that the cafe supports community outreach. From the web, it partners with this church and community programs. It seems to operate around community support and social impact initiatives. I love that they actively support Inclusion & Autism awareness and medical debt relief (WOW!). This is a cafe that is doing it right!

Service just ended so a lot of cars were leaving as we arrived. Don't recommend getting in line right after service because I waited over 30 minutes just to get two drinks. The lavender lemonade was very refreshing and not too sweet. The matcha latte on the other hand tasted watered down, so I could barely taste the matcha, super disappointing. It was a nice and sunny day so we decided to sit outside. The inside was very spacious, but I was overstimulated from all of people talking, especially when I was waiting in line. A good spot to stop by to grab a drink and enjoy the view outside if you're in the area. Glad I meet the time to check this place out.
