I had wanted a cold holiday drink (black sesame) and cashier rang it in as hot but the guy who called my name was happy to help make me the correct one. (Regular Sweet, Regular Ice) I haven't tried the black sesame holiday drink yet since it was for someone else so I can't give my opinion of it. -Peach green tea creama: 3 (50% Sweet, Light ice, w/ boba) I have visited other sharetea locations (Union City and the Berkeley) multiple times so I can taste the quality difference. Although they gave a decent amount of boba and cream, there was hardly any tea to the point where I could hardly taste any peach green tea. Sharetea you are amazing! When I was visiting my hometown my family kept telling me to go to this new location to try out different drinks. Sure, I could get a regular milk tea but everyone gets those! Instead I opted for a green tea creama and that was heavenly. When you get it make sure to cut two slits on different sides and to tilt your head at an angle to get the cream and the green tea. Ugh, just describing it makes me want it again. I was so excited that Sharetea opened in this plaza. I've been wanting to try Sharetea since it opened in San Francisco but it's a little to far for me to just go and grab boba. The location is good - it's right next to a Chinese restaurant which is a smart move. I've only tried two drinks here so far: the ginger milk tea and handmade taro drink. Ginger Milk Tea - I got this because there was a special for the ginger drinks and I really like ginger. I got standard sweetness and no ice (but it was still cold). The drink itself was sweet and didn't have a strong ginger taste. I wanted it to be more gingery but it's okay, it was still good. I also like the boba here because it's chewy. The texture is good! Handmade Taro Drink - I LOVE THIS DRINK. There are real taro pieces in it. It was sweet and icy. There are plenty of seating although there isn't really a big table. Good place to catch up with a few of your friends. I think this is one of the best boba places in San Lorenzo. I much prefer it over T4 because I like the wide array of selection. read more

I grew up in SL and have been waiting for there to be a boba shop to be added to Greenhouse Plaza and now there is! There's also BoBo drinks but both places are on different levels. Drinks can be customized to different sugar and ice levels. Menu is basically the same as the Union City Sharetea. My favorites would be Mango Green Tea Crema, Hokkaido Pearl Milk Tea and Sesame Milk Tea. When they first opened, service was definitely slow. I think I waited almost 30 minutes for my drink but now it's more efficient. My order comes out in less than 5 minutes (on a weekday). Be warned that this is pretty much a hangout place for high schoolers so it can get loud and the tables fill up by the night time on weekends. Will continue to come here to get my boba fix as it is near my house :) read more

For now, I give them 2 stars. The two times I have come here I've run into issues. 1) they don't take bills over $20, I didn't have my cards and anything smaller. Which is dumb because money is money, if you don't trust the bill get a black light or a pen that can tell you it's real. 2) they ran out of pearls? At a boba place? Really? It's like McDonalds running out of fries. Any way I don't have much else to say about it, it's still new-ish, I'll wait till they get things settled and returned. By the way, it's like 9pm on a Tuesday night and there are a million people here. Update: I returned here just a week later to grab some drinks. Another long line, the cashier was not helping the line because she was chatting it up with other customers and coworkers. Quality of the drinks are good, not watered down like other Shareteas. I usually get the roasted oolong milk tea or peach green tea. The only thing I don't like about this place is that they will charge you for toppings even if you don't want it (most drinks come with toppings) and if you change your topping and replace it with something else, they charge you extra. Love this Sharetea location! I have always love Sharetea and I was SO excited to find that it opened up in San Leandro! Sharetea drink is pretty standard among the different locations, so I would just recommend my all time favorites: the Kiwi tea with ice jelly and Okinawa milk tea. Although you cannot adjust the sweetness of the kiwi tea, it's not too sweet. You can taste the kiwi seed in the drink, so I am guessing they at least use real kiwi. Okinawa milk tea is just excellent, it is brown sugar milk tea but it just taste so good! Specifics about this particular location, it is very spacious (compared to the SF and Berkeley locations) and clean. Staff are very friendly and efficient. They are popular, I have seen the line being out the door but I have to compliment the staff for being fast paced and on top of things. One thing I do not like about this location is that it is right next to the chinese dim sum place. There are always a lot of people smoking outside the restaurant and in front of Sharetea so you inhale lots of second hand smoke even inside the store. We came here after lunch to get some drinks. I ordered coffee milk tea with boba (less ice, 30% sweet), oreo milk tea with boba (less ice, 50% sweet) and coffee crema (less ice, 30% sweet). It is great how there is finally a Sharetea in San Leandro, especially very close to home. Typically, the lines are long, especially during the holidays. Even though the lines are long, the staff are very expedient, and the line becomes a very small issue. Typically, a drink will take from five to ten minutes to come after ordering. The drinks can be adjusted according to the sweetness and the amount of ice in the drinks, but some of the drinks are not adjustable, such as the Kiwi with Ice Jelly. Some of the recommended drinks include the Classic Milk Tea, Okinawa Milk Tea, Wintermelon Fresh Milk, and Kiwi with Ice Jelly. However, even if some of the drinks are adjusted for their sweetness, the drinks still have a tendency to be very sweet. read more

This is my go-to boba place because I live right next to it. Every time I go (which is at least one time a week), there is usually no line. The employees are helpful and take orders fairly quickly. They all know what they are doing, and the drinks come out fast. The place (including the bathroom) is always clean, and the decor is cute and welcoming. I have gone there enough to have tried over half their drinks. The drinks are made well enough to satisfy my boba cravings. Their toppings are solid, which includes boba (duh), mini boba, aiyu jelly, grass jelly, pudding, ice cream, litchi jelly, red bean, and more. Their fruit teas are tasty (though I am not really a fruit tea fan). I love their crema/kreama (different places spell it differently and I get confused) and teas (especially the mango and oolong tea). The milk teas definitely hold its flavor, though some of them such as the matcha, Okinawa, and oolong milk teas are more watered down than other places. Recently, their frosty/smoothies became very chunky, like they were not blending them enough. They started to feel more like a snow cone. However, asking for the drinks to be extra blended seemed to do the trick. Nice job Sharetea, you make me a happy customer! read more

My group of 4 rushed here on a Saturday night a few minutes before closing. We were at T4 up north around 10:40 PM when they decided to close early due to weather .. that makes complete sense, right? I did a quick Yelp search and found ShareTea, 9 minute drive from our current location and it closes in 15 minutes. We sped through the rain and barely made it in time. We were basically the last customers and the staff greeted us with a smile. I rarely visit Sharetea since other tea places are more convenient for me. Their top 20 menu caught my attention, but I realized there's probably no more than 30 items on their menu...so does that mean everything is good?! hahah I ordered their mango passion green tea with 100% sugar, no ice, and no toppings. The store is very clean and has a very modern design. I got the cocoa crema with mini boba and it tastes like a chocolate in-n-out milkshake that went on weightwatchers (which is a VERY good thing). I want to give Sharetea a try but I had a bad experience with the gentleman working this Sunday (7/23/2017) morning. I walked in at 11:02AM and politely ask if they were opened yet. The gentleman behind the counter looks at me strangely and shakes his head. He glared at me like I broke into the store or something. He doesn't say a single word to me but turns around and yells into the kitchen asking why the door was unlocked. Dude, you could've at least just responded and say "No, we are not opened yet." Instead I got this awkward stare and silence. Work on your customer service and speak up. Your business hours for Sunday is listed as 11:00am - 10:00pm. Reason of coming: I was craving for boba and I wanted to the bubble bottle. Overall: There is a parking lot, but because I arrived on Dec. 26th and because it was the day after the holiday, there was A LOT of people and no parking. The lines were out the door and the service was slow. I arrived and saw a note that they were out of BOBA! So I ordered a milk tea without boba to satisfy my boba craving (go figure). I did however got the bubble bottle, which was $5.75 if you were wondering. After waiting in line for 10 minutes to order, I waited another 30 minutes for my drink. It was ridiculously slow. After 25 minutes waiting for my drink, they had boba again, but failed to ask the people who ordered if they wanted to add boba, it was pure disappointment. This boba place is a total hit or miss depending on the baristas. Sometimes they serve it with a good tea kick to it, sometimes it tastes like sugar milk. I never really understood the hype about Sharetea. The drinks, IMO, are overpriced for the quality you get, and the only benefit of coming here is that it's closer and open until 11pm. Every time I order matcha drinks here, it's either really powdery or really watery, which is very disappointing. Sometimes the tea to milk ratio is way off. I only come here when I'm too lazy to make the longer trip to T4 or i-Tea, so I just settle for some subpar boba. read more

Drinks are a 4 star ! (Most share teas) the only downfall was the grass jelly and pudding is a little skimpy, compared to the other share teas. Also, heads up no agar pearls and crystal jelly at this location. Service is a for sure a 4 star too, the workers are very nice. read more

They have the option to customize your sugar and ice levels for your drink. Be warned, though, that some of their drinks aren't customizable so prepare for a backup drink if your drink can't be modified. The drinks are pretty decent and the standard size comes in a pretty large cup. They don't have that many tables and most of these tables only seat 2 people, so if you have a large party, you may be better off at T4 (the other boba place in town) which has more room. I really appreciate that they don't blast music at your face, though. From what I recall, there aren't any games stocked for your entertainment. The ambiance is decent enough to get some studying/work in if you can tolerate a bit of noise. The Wifi password is provided on your receipt, so take note before you toss it! There's a large parking lot that is shared with some large stores like Safeway, so there's a chance you may have trouble finding parking during the busier hours. Compared to other boba shops nearby: - Less room and tables - Better suited for 1-2 people than a large group - Better for studying than other places because of noise level (when I was there) and abundant outlets - This is a small shop so lines can easily go out the door, which can make it chilly during colder weather. read more
