Since I've been on a budget lately, I have her cut my own hair now too, and she does just as good of a job. These days, we all consider her a family friend. The one time she was unavailable and we had to take our kids elsewhere due to an impending travel deadline, the experience was such a comparative letdown that it simply served as a reminder that Cornelia truly IS the best and worth waiting for! :)

My son really enjoyed his experience before, playing in the waiting area. During, playing with a box of cars and airplanes. And after looking at himself. My son is two. And it was his first hair cut ever! Tete gave a a lock of his hair and a little pamphlet of when, where, his first hair cut was!! (Not pictured) The reason I gave 4 in stead of 5 stars: The address wasn't updated on other websites. Our appointment was at 10am (right when they open) and I was getting really worried he wasn't going to be able to get his hair cut because I was 19 min early looking for the salon at the wrong location. Finally after 10 Tete answered and provided me with the updated address. Also my sons hair is really choppy and uneven. (Expected for a first haircut for a TWO YEAR OLD) I'm not mad about it at all. I love it. And I'm happy my son does too.

They are so patient, kind, and understanding every single time we come in. They take their time to make him feel comfortable, but are also impressively quick--which is exactly what you need with a toddler who doesn't love sitting still. And they still manage to give him such a great haircut every time. We've tried dropping into other salons before, but ended up walking out without a haircut because they just didn't have the same level of patience or care. This place is completely different. We are so grateful for Sarah and Erin--they've made what could be a stressful experience so much easier for our family. Highly recommend, especially for parents with young kids!

When you walk in the salon, it looks like an ordinary adult salon, but if you walk towards the back left, there is a whole room dedicated to kids cuts! The worker said if we wanted to get a hair cut we could drive to that location (30 minutes away). To me this is pretty unacceptable. I don't understand how this information wasn't shared when we checked in and I don't understand why they let us sit there for 30 minutes waiting before we had to ask what was happening. And then to suggest we drive 30 minutes to another location for our 4pm haircut which would have given us an arrival time of 5pm, an hour after our scheduled appointment.
