I have been here many times and can't say I've ever had a really bad experience. My husband has had a couple things that he would just say were ok, but my food has always been tasty. The customer service is good if a little slow at times, especially when busy. The place is clean, there are nice views of the estuary depending on the table, and the live music they have is usually for any crowd. The daily menu is written out on a white board and if you don't like the options you can also ask that they make you something special. I usually go for the bean and cheese burrito (yummy). The Toscana Chicken is a hit with my husband. I also like the Sharky's shrimp. They have good drinks as well for anyone looking for a place to just chill at a bar and chat with the locals. FYI this place is cash only, so stop by the ATM on the way in.

Deliciously marinated and seasoned shrimp and peppers inside a chile pastilla con queso oaxaca OMG, taste like un taco gobernador inside a chile, highly recommended if headed to La Bufadora its on the way. Great live band playing classic chicano rock like War& Santana, goods vibes mostly locals. Service is a but on the slow side but there is no need to rush just sit back and enjoy.

So I was told…read moreabout this spot by a friend at work that had went to La Bufadora twice in a 2 month span. He was impressed both times and gave his recommendation. Now, a lot of times I'll hear about a place and take note of it and even bookmark it which I did here. Also many times the hunger pangs don't always line up with future plans to visit a place. Maybe you can't wait that long.. In this case, we were heading to La Bufadora and I suggested we stop here. What a pleasant surprise! Some of the freshest seafood is prepared to order here, which does take a little extra time but well worth it. We were blown away by the friendly family atmosphere that had kept us happy as a clam.. We saw them preparing it all which doesn't get any fresher. And they kept coming back and checking on us and asking if we liked everything. Yes we did! Shrimp quesadilla, fish and shrimp tacos, ceviche I mean we tried a good cross section of the menu and it was all awesome! 4 of us ate for around $25, but it had been a year or two. It's a small spot that you can miss if you're not aware, but trust me you wouldn't wanna miss this place!

If…read moreyou're craving a perfectly refreshing seafood cocktail, flavor-packed fish tacos, or juicy, expertly seasoned shrimp -- this place deserves an immediate stop. What makes Eddie's truly special isn't just the food, it's the experience. When you walk in, you don't enter a typical restaurant -- you're ushering yourself directly into Eddie's kitchen, where the magic happens. Eddie is the heart of it all. You'll see him cooking over the stove, taking orders like a seasoned pro, cracking jokes, laughing out loud, and treating every guest like family. There's no separation between chef and customer here -- Eddie brings you right into his world, making each visit feel like you're part of something bigger than a meal. You can tell he genuinely loves what he does, and it shows in every plate he serves. The food? Absolute perfection every time. Everything that comes out of the kitchen is homemade and crafted with care -- the cocktails are loaded with fresh seafood, the tacos are made with tender, flaky fish that's grilled or fried to golden perfection, and the shrimp is plump, seasoned generously, and cooked just right. Even the tortillas have that warm, handmade texture that store-bought simply can't compete with. The salsas and toppings are vibrant, zesty, and clearly made from scratch -- nothing here tastes mass-produced, and that's exactly why people keep coming back. Service is fast but personal, organized but unfiltered -- it's a controlled chaos that works in the best way possible. You're not just grabbing food, you're witnessing someone do what they were meant to do. Between orders, laughter, and local chatter, Eddie creates memories on the daily, and his customers become part of the story. So whether you're a local, a traveler, or someone who simply follows the roadside signs promising a great taco -- listen to them. When you see Eddie's signs, pull over. Walk in. Order a fish taco. And when Eddie looks your way, do yourself a favor and give him a holler -- because that's just how it's done here. Eddie's Seafood isn't just a place to eat... it's a tradition, a vibe, and a damn good meal. Highly recommended. You won't regret stopping by!

My fellowship, a cluster of mere mortals with taste far keener than foresight, insisted we seek a place foretold in gustatory prophecy: La Cocedora de Langosta. I assented, though the sea had begun to speak again. A cruel trick of salt and memory. We arrived. The lobster was not served--it presented itself. Shell split like prophecy fulfilled, meat steaming with tales older than Atlantis. The ceviche? Lime and fire in perfect alchemy. It hissed in my mouth like the last words of a betrayed siren. A whole fish, fried until its soul ascended, left bones so clean they could be used in ritual. Angels wept; I salted accordingly. The risotto arrived next, not on a plate but in a chalice. Each bite stirred marrow and memory, comfort and command. My sea legs stood straighter. My resolve thickened. Libations flowed--freely, fervently, faultlessly. The chalice refilled itself (or perhaps the staff were trained in illusion and replenishment). Laughter, clinking glass, and something close to joy dared to rise. Staff were keen-eyed adepts, operating with the grace of trained familiars. The atmosphere carried hints of volcanic enchantment and citrus optimism. Barry the Brave Muffin Baker--my misguided nemesis-ally--might have found peace here. Or at least, a decent aioli. Verdict: A rare convergence of flesh, flavor, and fate. Five stars scorched upon the firmament by my hand. I may never return. But that's only because the enchantment forbade it.
