Really good Shawarma We stopped on Sunday for lunch, this place is popular and they have great food and service. We ordered one chicken shawarma and one beef entree, they come with three sides to choose. We had cucumber tomato salad, hummus and baba ganoush. Everyone was delicious and the servings were plenty.

Small place, good food. Felt beef was a bit on the salty side but still pretty good. Nice staff.

Wanted to try Shawarma Basha after reading some Yelp reviews. I am happy I did I had the chicken shawarma wrap. My first time to have this meal in a wrap. I was very happy with the flavors of the chicken. I like the grilled wrap it was similar to a burrito but not the same flavors. Plenty of meat inside the wrap. They do have other fillings you can choose from. To go with the meal we added hummus and pita as a side. The hummus was very good I will for sure get this meal again. The restaurant has seating inside and a patio on the side of the building. Very casual you order at the counter. The food is made to order very fresh and hot. The have plenty of dishes to choose from. I will be going back to try some more.

I love their gyro wrap! It's super affordable and delicious. I been coming back just to get it. My boyfriend got the beef platter, and he likes it! However, it wasn't amazing (his words). The lentil soup was really nice in my opinion, but I did not like the baba ghanous. It was a bit bitter in my opinion.

I called and ordered a To Go order. Service was great and food was ready in 15 minutes. The portion was large. Chicken shawarma was good but not great. The garlic sauce was not as garlicky as I prefer - it was more of just yogurt. The fries were absolutely delicious! I'd go back and try other items as they have many good sounding items on the menu.

Smells of sewer, we left immediately. Fortunately, they were out of chicken giving us a polite excuse to leave.

This place has been on my radar for a while, and I finally stopped in for lunch today. It is a small place at the end of the strip center on Arbrook. There really isn't any decor, just a few tables and the counter where you order. They do have a little outdoor seating area to the side. I had scoped out the menu before I came, and ordered the shish tawook sandwich. It is really more of a wrap, with chicken, garlic sauce, and pickles. The outside is warm and they crisp it up on a flat top, but stays soft on the inside. The chicken was cooked perfectly and was tender. The garlic sauce was on point. Delicious and creamy but not overly garlicky, which was good because I was going back to work. I don't know what kind of pickles they use, but I like them. They're very mild. You don't get that tang of vinegar and dill. It adds a nice crunch and everything goes together really well. I don't know if it is the marinade of the chicken, but something had a bit of a lemony flavor. In a good way. Considering it is mostly meat, it made for a substantial meal, even if it kind of looks like a skinny burrito. The sandwich was $4.99 which I think was a good deal. I really enjoyed it and look forward to trying other things on the menu The young woman working the counter was very nice and offered to bring it out to my car, which was appreciated.

I ordered my usual char-broiled double cheeseburger, fries, and onion rings, which never disappoints. I also decided to try the char-grilled Maxwell street Polish sausage with sport peppers and cheese sauce. Unfortunately, the Polish sausage was underwhelming, and the cheese sauce tasted like canned cheese from a dollar store. Both are items I wouldn't order again in the future. The customer service continues to be top-notch, and ordering through the kiosk was fast and easy.

I really enjoyed the beef sandwich and I always get it baptize. I like to order extra dipping sauce with it so I can just drown it haha. My favorite are the hot dogs, which is what they are know for. I love the chicago style dogs and I love adding ketchup and mustard to my hot dogs. For the side I really enjoy getting a side of cheese and dipping my fries into it, thank me later. The onion rings are also worth a mention, they are well made, crispy and full of flavor. I also had their shakes before and they were pretty good. I once had their chocolate cake and it was very rich in flavor and not dry at all like other cakes. I always eat in the diner because I love how they have decorated the space. It reflects the history of the city of Arlington. It is a mix of car decor honoring the GM plant and part of the decor is also bowling, to honor the national bowling museum and headquarters located in arlington. I love how its so big and spacious. They also sell beer but I never purchase any but thats a cool concept. The staff keeps the place nice and clean, i love how they say your order number and make it rhyme with something. You order at the counter and they bring your food to you. We love Middle Eastern food so we were quite pleased that this restaurant exists in the middle of the Texas countryside. I am sure that the people of Murphy and Lucas do not consider themselves as country dwellers, but coming from Dallas, it is countryside. Not saying that is good or bad, just an observation. Anyway, the restaurant. We started with a side of hummus and it was very good. I like a bit less tahini and more garlic, but I am not complaining about this hummus. It came with pita bread. I wish it had been warm. I ordered the shish taouk (cubed chicken breast) and it was excellent. Chicken was tender and very flavorful. It came with rice, some pickles, and an olive dip that I never saw before but it was good too. The wife had the beef shawarma and it also was very flavorful. Beef was tender and good quality. Her's also came with rice. Both of our dishes were excellent and we both would order again. Service was very friendly. It's a family owned restaurant and you can tell that they really care. It was not terrible busy on a Saturday night so I hope they are successful. If I lived in Murphy or Lucas I would be here once a week for sure.
