The only design he did was the black and those crosses. $50

Rip off. I had nude nails and asked for some french tip only solid black to be added, I did not need a fill just color added. I also asked for two silver cross charms but they didn't have them and I said that was fine without but they said they would draw it on. They proceeded to try to charge me $50. I asked them to break down the price because that is absurd for black french tip and two lines. They said they would do $45. $45 when a fill they said costs $60. They used no drill, acrylic, shaping tools, simply one brush and two polish colors. Insane pricing! Total rip off looking to pick on young girls without mothers to defend themselves. Will not be going back.

Took a break for awhile Because we had issues with appointment times. But, boy am I glad to be back. I tried all of the others. There is NO nail salon that does my nails as well as Shayna's. Ahhhh.

I got my nails done the first time and they chipped all on the corner ends... I thought it was weird but gave them another chance.... Well I got my nails done last Saturday... that Monday I came in to get 2 nails fixed due to they chipped same spots as before at the end of the nails in corner (pic to follow) ! The following Monday (yesterday) I went back to get 3 nails fixed two being the same nails that chipped on the side again. Today I looked down and my nail that was fixed yesterday was chipped again in the same spot. Let me be CLEAR my nail isn't chipping the dip is chipping off.... They said they had to charge me 10.00 on Monday to fix cause the following Monday they fixed them as well... I said that's fine! But honestly I have been getting my nails dipped for over 11 years never had a chipping problem until I came here... I won't be back...

I have been going to Shayna's for about a year now whenever I get my nails done for an event or something, and I leave satisfied and in awe of my nails every time! Every person at Shayna's does a phenomenal job and takes time to get to know you as a client and make you feel comfortable while you're getting a service. This is what my nails looked like TWO DAYS after getting acrylics from here. The main lady is nice she does a good job. But the costumer service is AWFUL they refused to give me a refund. I had to BEG to get my money back and the manager still said that he didn't think they were THAT bad. They offered to give me HALF my money back. read more

My wife and daughter have been before and so when they both wanted to get their nails done for some Easter family pictures, I called to make an appointment. I made the appointment for 3:30 today. At 7:30 pm they finally returned home. Best part was it was $190 for both. WAY too expensive for a substandard job that took 4 hours! Go to one of the other Ahwatukee nail salons. read more

Ah such a bummer about this spot. Was looking forward to a good experience, made an appt and arrived even a bit early. Unfortunately, the appt wasn't honored and we were seen about 45 minutes after we arrived. The quality of the services were just ok and my accompanying guests had to have their pedicure paint redone. Given that there are so many spots in the area, maybe consider some other place first? read more

So this time was my first time back in over two years. I used to go to Shayna's Nails & Spa in the past, but I moved further away and started going to Herbal Nail & Spa in Chandler. They were okay, but I wanted a place that did nice art work/designs. My cousin, who goes to Shayna's Nails, showed me her nails one day, done by Van, and I immediately fell in love again! I went back today and I had Van do a flower design with colors pink and black. She did AMAZING!!! She took her time on my nails, which I absolutely loved! She picked the perfect pink, which went well with the design I showed her. Her work is the best! I will be back again for sure! My pedicure is gel nails and my manicure is SNS (dip) nails. I also got the deluxe spa, which was $40. Totaled out to a little over $100, but let me tell you, it was all worth it! Love my nails! read more

I happened upon this incredible nail salon by chance on Google one day. From my first visit a few months ago- I've since been back at least 5 times and the service is always impeccable. Beginning with Don at the front desk- you're welcomed with a warm smile, a bottle of water, and kind words. My nail technician, Thu is PHENOMENAL. Her attention to detail, from the shaping of each nail to the polishing of each nail bed from edge to edge- I've never been SO happy leaving a nail salon, truly! I am so happy with my pedicure and gel manicure done by Pink ! Everyone working there is so sweet and Pink was super attentive and really took care of my feet and hands. I got the deluxe spa pedicure which was well worth the $35 and a gel mani for $30. Can't forget to mention the massages.... Thank you Pink for really taking your time to make sure my nails were perfect, I'll definitely be back soon! read more

This place has gone downhill. Liked it last year and prior but the last few times I'm not happy. They take a long time. Last time the gel color I chose from their swatches they traded out for a like color and didn't tell me or ask me. Wasn't thrilled about it but lived worth it. One time they made a big deal that I wanted short nails since I can't work with long nails. She did them too long and I had to go back to cut them down. She criticized my choice. Sadly Van (the one everybody reviews about) isn't there anymore. read more

I am not a frequent manicure / pedicure person. In fact, this was my second time getting one EVER. I went to Shayna's because it was across the street from my family's house and the receptionist was nicer than the folks at the salon in the next Plaza over. Let's get what I didn't like out of the way reeeeal quick: I was a walk-in and they brought me immediately to a chair and left me there for nearly 30 minutes. No one talked to me or started my water bath or gave me info about who would take care of me for a long while. I ended up being at the salon for over 1.5 hours because of this rough start. And often I felt like the lady taking care of me just forgot about me -- she turned my water on and left. The water nearly overflowed. Then the lady who did my hands gave me an unsolicited back massage that was more painful than relaxing. ALL THAT ASIDE -- I think they did a good job overall. I was happy with the result and the price I paid ($32 for a standard mani-pedi). I thought the salon could have had more nail color options...they had a fairly limited selection. They had some great gel nail color selections, but gels were an extra $7-8 so I wasn't too eager to spend the extra $$. I'm not sure id go back to Shayna's, but it was clear in my short time there Shayna's had quite the loyal customer base. That showed me Shayna's was loved by its frequenters... sadly just not me. read more

They do good work and are friendly. They don't speak too much Vietnamese in front of customers and will join you in the conversation if you are interested. I have had Anna and Tracy. Both were very nice and did a good job. I have been happy with all services the three or four times I visited for a pedicure. I think the prices are reasonable. The salon is clean and bright with plenty of color options. I am a basic girly. Glitter is as fancy as I get, so I am not in the know about designs, fake nails, etc. read more

I recently relocated to the Foothills and wanted to try out a nail place close to my new home. With the reviews of this shop on Yelp, I figured I had a found a great place. I made an appt for 3:30pm on a Sunday. I arrived right on time and started to look around for polish options. That was the first sign, all their regular polishes were crammed down at the bottom of a small shelf, not organized by color and most were separated in the bottle so I couldn't really tell what the color was. I looked around and all the well displayed colors were powers, gels, etc. I was finally greeted and asked to wait a few mins. About 15 mins later I was asked to sit in a pedi chair...and I proceeded to wait for another 15-20 mins. Finally a lady said sorry for the wait and started the water for me. Another 30-40 mins went by, so now my feet are in the water. I'm committed. The chair was not comfortable at all, the massager was almost aggressive and really uncomfortable. After more then an hour I finally got my service started. They did apologize for the wait, but at this point it was too late. The the tech tried to upswell me 2x on their more expensive package? At this point I just wanted to get my nails and toes done and get out. The service was average at best. Everyone says in their reviews how great the quality was and how nice the ladies are, I think people like the pricing of this salon which is just a little less then most others, but not worth the compromise in waiting over an hour with an appt made and for being a 1st time customer, lackluster shop with old equipment. I won't be back. I find it interesting that I look now, someone else 7 days ago left a 1 Star and also waited an hour even with an appt. Not good. read more

I had a terrible experience here. I have dip polish and needed it removed before switching to a new dip color. Things started fine as my technician began using the nail drill to remove the top layer from my nails. However, after this she proceeded to use nail clippers to remove the polish off the top of my nail. I was shocked and she was very rough with my fingers. After I told her it was painful, she wrapped each of my individual fingers in tinfoil with acetone, which I found very strange since any other salon I have been to asks me to soak them in a bowl and use my fingers to gently rub the dip off my nails. After she had wrapped each of my individual fingers on both hands, she immediately removed the foil without allowing time to soak. She then used a scraper tool to try to scrape the dip off the top of my nails, which was extremely painful and also took the top layer of my nails off. I was at the salon for over an hour, just for dip on my personal nails! Although the end result of my new dip looked fine, my nails hurt for the rest of the day, and I do not plan to return. I do not recommend going to this salon if you prefer dip. read more

This is the nail salon youve been searching for! Awhatukee has a ton of nail salons, most in high traffic areas,providing subpar service at boutique prices. I'd almost gievn up when I found Shaynas. From my very first visit, Linda and the staff warmly welcomed me in, and provided the most relaxing, stress free, visit. I believe the gal who did my hair was named Bella. She is a lovely young lady with curly hair and the sweetest personality. She listened to what I wanted and did it very well! I chopped a lot of length off and she styled it so nicely after. I'll be going to her again next time. She is talented at her craft and very sweet to top it all off. Also want to mention that this salon has Kevin Murphy and Kerastase products for sure. This is actually how I originally found them -- I was looking to purchase Kevin Murphy products.

I have been going to Shayna's Nails & Spa for well over five years. In fact, I used to go to the same location when it was Lee Happy Nails. Shayna's Nails & Spa is owned by Thu Thu (pronounced Too) Nguyen and her husband Alan Nguyen and the experience is amazing EVERY time. Thu, Alan and their staff are focused on customer service and will do what is right when it comes to customer satisfaction. Thu is an amazing business woman and I admire her work ethic. I've read a couple of negative reviews that are very out of character and untrue - I hope that when people read all of the reviews, they side on the positive and give them a try. I've personally witnessed on two occasions where customers begin to complain and you can tell the entire scenario is a 'set up' to try and get free services. The atmosphere is comfortable, clean and inviting. They are professional and I have never felt that when they speak in their native language, that they are speaking about me or others. Thu is amazing at waxing, too! She is very careful to ensure that she gives the customer what they want and that they are comfortable. read more

I had a really disappointing experience at this nail salon. They made me wait 40 minutes. The technician seemed rushed and more focused on finishing quickly than doing quality work. I pointed out multiple issues during the appointment, but despite mentioning them several times, they were either ignored or poorly corrected. The final result felt sloppy and not up to standard, especially for the price. To make matters worse, I was charged more than what was listed on their website, which felt misleading and unfair. I've been here a few times, but after this experience, I won't be coming back. I wouldn't recommend this place. read more

I'M IN LOVE!! Tracy is the best - hands down! I usually always get long acrylic nails but due to my job, I have to get them short now. Tracy gave me a beautiful clear pink dip set & I couldn't be happier! They are absolutely stunning & so elegant . This salon is reasonably priced and always makes sure you are completely satisfied with what you get. They also take the time to get to know you personally and become like your best friend. I LOVE Shayna Nails & Spa!!!!! I have been to many nail salons in the valley and this one is the best. It is clean. They have the most current trends and products. Their staff is full and everyone is friendly and helpful. My go to is June. June is nail knowledgeable. I have learned a lot from her and her expertise and application are perfection. This is the best nail salon period. I've been coming here for quite some time but the owner out did herself yesterday when I was in for a manicure and pedicure. She is so sweet and takes her time making sure you get exactly what you asked for. No rushing and as a result, her work lasts much longer than other salons. I drive out of my way to have her do my nails and won't let any other shop do them. Definitely worth the wait. read more

Worst customer service ever. The women who work there are unbelievably rude and have no respect. I had an appointment at 4 o'clock to get my nails filled and didn't get waited on or talked to for almost an hour and 30 minutes, two girls came in after me and got helped right away because they just needed a 'repair'. Just moved to Tukee and was considering going here but after reading about how your tech's were talking about two young children and how they were ugly etc.. all the while not knowing they understood you...you should be ashamed. Not happy! My nails are yellowing after 2 days. Called to see if they could refund since I was from out of town. They took my name and number and never called back. I spent 180 on my mom and mine pedi/mani ..they should of tried to rectify the problem. read more

Nails done by Van, if you're looking for ombré highly suggest going to her, it was quick and it still looks so good. Love the atmosphere of the salon it is so friendly and easy to walk into and easy to tell them what you want. read more
