The barbershop itself was clean and inviting. Arrived two minute before my appointment time and was seen right away. It wasn't crowded inside. And I found a parking spot easily on the street. Unfortunately I have to write a negative review about a brother I thought was an ethical human being. This was my fourth visit to this establishment and today I realized I will not return. Ever. The old saying when someone shows you who they are believe them. I scheduled an 11am appt for my son and I to have our cuts today. I showed up at 11:02am and waited as someone was already in the chair with his cut halfway done and my family and I decided to just wait. After waiting nearly half an hour I was then told by the barber that I was late and my haircut was skipped. Really??! 30 minutes later you mention I was 2 minutes late so my cut was skipped?! Cool. I take that on the chin. So then he says I can only do one of the cuts that were scheduled and "pre-paid" for. I said ok I'll get my cut and my son will wait until another time to get his. He then says I can do your sons but not yours as mine was a 20 minute cut and my sons was a 15 minute cut. I then say "ok" you can cut my sons hair I'll figure it out. Then his 11:30am "appt" walks through and he turns and says I can't do your sons cut now. make it make sense! At this point I'm frustrated and confused as what he was saying made no sense at all. I let him know ok I will look for another time later today. He says he's booked up. I ask him because at this point he needs to understand what he sounds like. I ask him so if I'm 2 minutes late my cut gets cancelled ok cool but now both haircuts are cancelled?! He mentions the guy that was in the chair when I walked in at 11:02am for my 11am appt was a walk-in. Which is how I got skipped and now I can get a cut and my son can't get a cut. Completely unprofessional and unethical. The right way he should've handled the situation was to say "I apologize. There was a walk in that came in before your scheduled appt and I decided to take his cut. I take full responsibility and I will make sure I take care of you and your some to honor your appt and time spent waiting". I guess that's too much like right. To top it off I scheduled the cut through booksy and was charged a prepayment fee prior to getting the cuts. I asked that he cancel the appt so I could get a refund. He did not and then entered in the booksy site as a "no show" meaning I never came at 11:02am waited 30 minutes just to get jerked around. How is that a no show?! A liar and a thief go hand and hand. I will deal with the bank regarding the charges not a big issue. What a waste of time and on top of that to steal money and lie about me being late shows me what type of person and business I was dealing with. Please see attached for the no show. OVER SENSITIVE "petty" business owner who doesn't know how to remove his emotions from a business transaction. Upset about a post from 4 years ago. Nothing about the post was rude or disrespectful at all. It's unfortunate that you can't handle a customers opinion, perception or experience. Literally waiting less than 1 hour before the scheduled appointment to send a text message (with a screenshot of the 4 year old post) stating, "I just remembered who you are. You should consider removing this before your service, respectful". Your cocky arrogant demeanor is ridiculous. Now that I go back and read the post it was 100% accurate. BEWARE!!!!! I booked a 5:30 PM, level 2 fade $30, for my 12 yr old son online through Booksy with the "Professor". Upon arrival, there was no greeting or check-in process so we took a seat and waited until 6:10PM while he finished a client in his chair. The professor walks up to us and asks what we want to done, I let him know we booked online and we want the sides cut. He gets started on the cut and finishes the job but when it comes time to pay I point out that their service menu states a lower price for what we got done...he acknowledges that is correct and lets me know that I have to pay for what I booked regardless of what I get done. I don't argue and pay him because it was only a $5 difference so I'm not really trippin cause I would have tipped that anyways but in my head, I'm like "soo if I booked a cheaper cut and get a more expensive haircut I pay for what I booked right LOL!" Before leaving, I inquired about the children's price, which was up to age 12. He firmly says while looking at my 12-year-old son and says "THAT'S NOT A KID!" I laugh it off, and we leave out the door but what a rude and insensitive thing to say because you feel inferior to my child and know he'll knock some sense into you if you kept up your bad attitude NOT COOL! To top it off he accepted cash payment from me knowing it took the money from my card on the BOOKSY app...To prevent himself from being kicked off BOOKSY app for double dipping he returned the cash after we got in the car and blocked us from booking with him in the future. Keep in mind we said nothing bad to this guy and remained polite throughout the whole process. He is extremely unprofessional and appears to hate his job. This guy is a snake and I personally wouldn't trust someone like this to cut my hair. read more

I Love the atmosphere between it being a barber and hair shop. My nephew was taken in immediately by the lady barber. She was very welcoming and nice. I am so so happy I found Ms. Barbarette. We spoke previously and her voice was already angellic. She gave me her cell and we conversed about my 7 year old. She told me to try and make an appt as she wpuld be able to be more attntive but baby boys been needing one bad so we had games today my daughter and son. Her game was over at 4:30. Got to Ms. Barbarette around 4:50. We waited and then she politely came and spoke with and took my papi to the chair. He didnt flinch he wasnt crying SHE WAS FIRE !
