    Very disappointing experience due to poor communication and customer service from start to finish…read more I brought my car in for repairs and was told a part needed to be ordered. We were offered a loaner vehicle and told the car would be ready by Thursday. When I arrived to pick up the loaner before the stated cutoff time, the dealership couldn't find the paperwork and ultimately couldn't provide the vehicle. A manager apologized and promised a callback the next morning. The next day, David Sapo didn't contact us until midday, and when my husband spoke with him, he blamed us for the loaner issue despite us arriving during the timeframe we had been given. After that, getting updates was nearly impossible. Calls and texts went unanswered, and multiple employees repeatedly said, "David is not available." We eventually learned he wasn't even working the day our vehicle was supposedly being completed. When I returned to pick up my car, they once again couldn't find the paperwork. While the repair was completed, the lack of communication, poor follow-through, and disorganized service made the entire experience frustrating. I'll gladly drive the extra 10 minutes to Brown's Mazda in Fairfax next time.

Ahead of my most recent service appointment, I received an unsolicited text message offering a trade-in value above the Blue Book for my Sportage. Since my vehicle was in good condition and we were already considering an upgrade, I decided to explore it. Unfortunately, the sales process quickly became frustrating. I asked multiple times for a clear, written breakdown of the out-the-door price, but never received one. Instead, I was given vague, back-of-the-napkin math that raised serious concerns about whether fees were presented consistently and transparently. My impression was that the inflated trade-in offer may have been offset elsewhere in the deal, and the lack of clarity made it difficult to feel confident that I was being treated fairly. The overall approach also felt very high-pressure. After I initially walked away, I was contacted the next day with a revised offer that came in just slightly above the maximum price I had already stated. When I reengaged, any attempt to negotiate further was essentially shut down. I was then told signing would be quick, but I ended up waiting at the dealership for three hours and did not leave until an hour after closing. By the time the paperwork was finally ready, I was tired, frustrated, and just wanted the process to be over. I signed, in part, because I was told the documents would be sent digitally and that there was a 72-hour satisfaction guarantee. It has now been a week, and I still have not received the documents, even after requesting them again at the 36-hour mark. This was one of the most frustrating car-buying experiences I have had. I plan to continue using the service center, but I don't plan to work with the sales team again.

But that is a different animal, this Ourisman Kia dealership service center is efficient, thorough and the first time I visited this place to address a product recall for my 2022 Kia Niro EV, I was advised it would take roughly 90 minutes. Pinch me and call me Shirley, they were finished in less than an hour. While on site, I asked the Sales Department about the Kia EV 9 and they advised me they do not keep any EVs in stock on site, because they don't want to have it sitting around losing value while people don't want to buy one and they would have to have it shipped to them, so they tried to get me to check out the Telluride, as the EV 9 was based on that model. I bought the Niro EV used from a third party dealership (Carvana) and have had to bring it in for service a couple of times since I purchased it. Basic regular maintenance for an EV is typically just tire rotation but this Niro EV has had a couple of part failures that the 10-yr/100000 mile warranty does not cover (A/C unit refrigerant), so I am likely to choose Hyundai for the next vehicle I purchase, as my wife has purchased both the Ioniq 5 and 9 and we haven't had many problems that the dealership couldn't address quickly.

As soon as I drove out, I heard a noise as if I still had a flat. I returned and asked the front desk employee to check, but he brushed it off, saying it might feel off because I refused to replace all four tires. I reminded him that I came for the front tires, not the back, and he assured me everything was fine. For a week, I kept hearing the same noise and called multiple times asking if I could bring the car back. When I finally went in, there was no mechanic available he just looked at it himself and said a "knob" had broken off and quoted me for additional repairs I couldn't afford. I got a second opinion, and the new mechanic discovered the bolts had never been tightened. When he lifted my car, the tires literally wobbled off. I had been driving for weeks with four loose tires on the highway. The "broken" part they mentioned wasn't broken at all; it was missing. When I called the manager, he said there was nothing he could do because he didn't know which mechanic worked on my car. By then, I had already paid another shop to fix their mistake. As a single mom, I cannot afford this kind of negligence. It's terrifying to think what could have happened if a tire had come off. I contacted their district office as well, but they refused to help or refund me. This entire experience was frustrating, careless, and unsafe.

    This place is under new management and is now a great garage! My wife's 10 year old SUV needed a…read morevalve cover gasket replaced and in a hurry. I only had one day off to get it fixed and these guys did it. The mechanic stayed with the car all day, special ordered the part, and gave me a ride to and from my house. They also gave me a military discount, you don't see that a lot these days. The shop looked very clean and so did the lobby. They also had a small play area for kids and a TV. My car needed so much work that they stayed after hours to finish the job. When they picked me up they also informed me that my intake system needed cleaning and that I should get that done as soon as I can. I was waiting for an up sale but to my surprise, no up sale . Just straight up information. At the end of my service I was highly impressed. I defiantly plan on coming back next time I need any service done on my wife's car... Like the intake system. By the way, make sure to ask for Sunny, he's the owner and super nice guy. The front desk guy, Justin was also really easy going, he was the mechanic that worked on my SUV. Most mechanics won't really talk to the customer or just try to hand you off, Justin was ready to get the job done and help me out. If you need a place to work on your car and a fair price, go with these guys. The car runs great and I got a warranty with the service. I found my new shop.
