Very good bagels. The place has been around since 1974 and it looks like it but not in a bad way. The bagels are fresh and the mini bagels are delicious too. The shop pays homage to Brooklyn with lots of memorabilia to look at everywhere. If I lived closer I'd frequent this bagel store.

Friendly staff, delicious bagels. Requested my go-to, egg bagel with lox and lox spread, it's nice to find a place that doesn't skimp on the fish! Will be back

Everything bagel with pork roll egg and cheddar cheese

I used to love the food at this place for a reasonable price but this experience will be the last I have at this bagel store, I will never be back. The price of these two bagels one of which is a mini bagel with cream cheese and the other is supposed to be a regular sized everything bagel with pork roll egg and cheese. They both are the same size and they are small so I got two mini bagels and I paid 11.75!!!!!!!!!!!! the price is double of the surrounding businesses and the bagels use to be so good they are base model at best now and double the price!!!!! The cream cheese I couldn't even eat it tasted toxic. The smell in the store was awful it usually always was but the taste of food kept me coming back but now everything is just bad and the price is outrageous. The service is slow which it always has been but like I said the food use to speak for itself. I don't know what happen to this place or why they think they can charge 10 dollars for one bagel but I'm very disappointed.

    Nice and spacious inside

Good bagels, a little tough but good. Thin porkroll a plus. Cash only which is a pain.

Very good fresh bagels. Even the construction guy who did renovation said that they LOVE to go every morning there to buy the bagels.

I've been getting my bagels here for TWENTY YEARS. There is a reason why the parking lot is always full.

So, we were surprised, disappointed…read moreand a little skeptical when we drove down, pulled into the lot, and realized Perkins was gone and Hangar 36 was in its place. Since we were already there and hungry we gave it a try. Country Sausage Biscuit Platter was always my Perkins goto breakfast. We sat down, opened the menu and there it was.... almost the same identical menu as Perkins, plus daily specials. I had to try it.... Hangar 36 blows Perkins away as far as flavor and freshness. Perkins was a major restaurant chain.... Their quality lacked.... the biscuits were always dried out and relied on the sausage gravy to soften them up. Hangar 36 has fresh everything.... Biscuits were perfectly baked, fresh and delicious. I usually get a plate of fresh fruit on the side... that was fresh as well. I thought maybe, it was beginner's luck...... but I have been back, several times, and they never disappoint. I have tried their Specials too... With the fall season approaching, I would recommend their Pumpkin Pancakes or Waffles. Everything is made fresh. So, if you were a big fan of Perkins, or were disappointed with the quality of Perkins, give Hangar 36 a try..... you will be SURPRISED!! Enjoy

Turning Point in Holmdel was hands down the perfect choice for breakfast. We lucked out with a…read morebeautiful morning, so we grabbed a table on the outdoor patio and enjoyed the sunshine. We arrived early and had no problem finding a seat, but this place gets busy fast. If you're planning a later visit, I definitely recommend joining the waitlist ahead of time. Turning Point has earned a loyal following throughout New Jersey for its fresh, made-from-scratch breakfast and brunch menu, quality ingredients, and excellent coffee selection. It's easy to see why it's become a favorite destination for breakfast lovers. We kicked off our meal with mimosas (yes, it's BYOB, so bring your favorite bottle of champagne!). As a coffee fanatic, I couldn't pass up their Hawaiian Kona Blend French Press coffee. Ever since my first trip to Hawaii, Kona has been my favorite coffee, and Turning Point does it right. Each pot is ground to order, brewed with purified water, and brought to your table to finish steeping. When you're ready, you slowly press the stainless steel filter, releasing the rich flavors, aromatic oils, and smooth crema. Every sip is bold, incredibly smooth, and packed with flavor. If you're a coffee lover, this is an absolute must. For breakfast, we ordered: Breakfast Combo - Two slices of thick-cut French toast, two eggs over easy, and a side of their refreshing citrus-dressed mixed greens. The French toast was light, fluffy, and perfectly golden, making for a classic breakfast done exceptionally well. Nantucket Benedict - A toasted English muffin topped with generous chunks of cracked lobster, plum potatoes, thick-cut smoked bacon, fresh avocado slices, and finished with a bright lemon-cilantro hollandaise sauce. It was an incredible combination of flavors that balanced richness with freshness in every bite. Everything that came to the table was absolutely mouthwatering. Honestly, the photos don't do these dishes justice--you have to experience them for yourself. A special shoutout to our server, Adam, who was outstanding. He was friendly, attentive, and constantly checked in to make sure we had everything we needed without ever being intrusive. From the delicious food and exceptional coffee to the outstanding service and relaxing outdoor seating, Turning Point in Holmdel delivered an outstanding breakfast experience. If you're looking for one of the best breakfast and brunch spots in the area, this one should absolutely be on your list.

The weather was gorgeous so we were able to sit outside, and luckily we got seated right away even without a reservation. My husband and I usually go the route of splitting the breakfast combo, so we get a sweet and savory item (and the bill is lower than if we each got our own entrees). We got the breakfast combo and just added a side of sourdough toast and avocado. Only $2 charge for the avocado side which was nice! Everything was decent, but I've definitely had better brunch in the area, which is why it's 4 stars instead of 5.
