    Chicken kabob platter
    Marivic L.

Huge fan of Sheesh. I've been coming to Mosaic to get my hair done for over a year and if it's during a time when I need to grab a meal, Sheesh is at the top of the list. My faves are clearly (I mean, look at my pics. Haha) the chicken kabob platter with the juicy flavorful chicken, spinach, chickpeas, and rice. Love the green/hot sauce but will also use the other sauce as well. The burger was such a surprise to me. I got it just 2 weeks ago (oh yeah, I get my hair done every other week) for the second time and it was as good as I remembered. Really SO many delicious spices that it's better than a "regular" burger. I get it with fries which are super crunchy, just how I like them. Pro-tip: You can pay with the inKind app and take advantage of the deals they give and it's so convenient. I will be coming back.

    #7. Beef Kubideh Platter

Dropped by yesterday with some of my sorority syzters for dinner after a workout and we all LOVED our plates. I personally got the #7 with pita bread and a soft drink. Next time I want to try to the steak or lamb chops! Everything was delicious and the staff was friendly! We loved the ambiance and the wooden feel to the seating. I'd definitely come back here again!

I'm a fan of this casual & friendly kabob place in Mosaic. Great selection of Middle Eastern favorites and everything always tastes freshly made! My go-to is the beef kubideh with chopped salad and chickpeas - so delicious and filling. Lately all meals are served in a takeout container, even if one orders for dine-in. I hope they reconsider that decision. Other than that, excellent place for a meal!

    DISGUSTING Chicken "not spicy" Sandwich

Food is NOT middle eastern but more Indian style. I ordered chicken sandwich and specifically said NO spicy. But it came out spicy. Would not recommend this place Chicken schmarma is pretty much chicken biryani. Very deceiving Sheesh is correct

I really like how healthy sheesh is. I often pick it up for myself, friends recovering or friends at the hospital. Today I couldn't run out and ordered falls church/mosaic location through DoorDash. The food was not very good. Salmon was dry, the sautéed spinach needed olive oil and chick peas were bland. I had to try some because I was raving about it to my friend in the hospital whom I bought it for and was disappointed when they were right on the taste not being the same as chantilly location.

Inside dining area. Nice sleek hardwood tables and benches and plastic chairs.

3.5 Stars Quick service. Food had good flavor. Nice hardwood tables which gave the place a nice look if you opted to dine-in. I decided to get the chicken kabob that came with basmati rice, spinach and chickpeas in a tasty red sauce. Solid portions. The chicken was tender, well-seasoned with a nice char-grill on the outside. Basmati rice was fluffy. Chickpeas were cooked in a nice red sauce. I could tell they use canned chickpeas rather than fresh, but they were fine nevertheless. The spinach was tasty as well. I hope they use fresh spinqch and not frozen or canned. The meal came with a spicy-tangy green sauce on the side which had the right amount of kick. I asked for white sauce and those were .50 cents each (for 2 tbs portion). I was sort of surprised the meal did not come with the standard pita bread. I guess you have to ask for it and it so there could be a cost, I am not certain. I didn't see it on the menu but i could have overlooked it. I was also surprised they did not sprinkle that tangy Sumac seasoning on top of the meal as well. Usually kabob restaurants do that. - 1 stars for lack of pita/naan, sumac sprinkled on top and use of canned chickpeas. Pretty good kabob place to check out. I'll come back since it's convenient.

I got the loaded fries which were bomb, great flavors. The chutney was fantastic and they definitely loaded up on the sauce which is appreciated. It has a nice kick. The garlic sauce pairs well with the spice. I love pickled veggies so I'm glad those are included in the loaded fries. The chicken had decent portion size too. It's self service where you order at the register and then seat yourself. I want to get the eggplant dish next time.

Sheesh Grill may be quick service but is it enough for me to get out of my seat and yell Sheesh? I wish but my experience was alright. Inside, you have lots of open tables to sit down. Ordering is pretty convenient, there's a touch screen you can order from or you can order from the counter. Knowing me, I came here to see if their kabobs were good. Let's put that to the test. What I like about this place is that you can create your own bowl, pick your own protein, base, and two sides of your choice. If you aren't adventurous, they have their signature plates which is what I opted for since I wanted beef that day. I got the beef Kubideh plate which consisted of ground beef kabobs grilled to perfection, rice, salad, and chickpeas. It took a minute for the food to come out but that's how you know it was made to order. When I got the food there was signs of steam right out of the box. Couldn't been happier. I went to sit down and I immediately noticed that the tables were sticky. I tried sitting down at another table but it was less sticky so I wonder if they even clean up their tables when people are done dining.. The Kubideh is great. Can't go wrong with seasoned beef over a nice pilaf of rice. The salad was also good and served as the healthy component of my meal and chickpeas? I honestly think they were not fresh but the sauce that it was cooked in was pretty good. A very tomato-y kind of sauce. I think my complaint is that you don't even get bread for the price you are paying for so it is a bummer. You do get at least the spicy green sauce and yogurt sauce which is a bit watered down. That plus the tables not being clean makes me question their cleaniness. At least the person up front asked me how the food was and I will give them that it was good. Hopefully when I come back it's not so much of a sticky situation!

I really enjoy the food here. I hadn't ordered here in a while, but the food I ordered for takeout was as good as I remembered. I typically order the salmon platter with half salad and half rice, along with a side of chopped salad and chickpeas. The salmon was on the dry side, but it is very flavorful and not super fishy, which I like. I notice that they often overcook the salmon, but I feel like the overall flavor of the salmon, along with the sides, makes up for it. I love the sauces that come with the dish, which are the white sauce and the cilantro chutney. The white sauce has good flavor, and the cilantro chutney has a nice kick to it. The rice is tasty, and the portion size is great. The sides are tasty as well, and the salad is very fresh. However, the food is on the pricier side. I love ordering from here, and I will definitely be back!

The Chipotle of Middle Eastern food. Food is expensive and mid at best. $18 for a chicken kabob platter with 2 sides. I can get more food for less at any family-owned Middle Eastern restaurant that is in a place not named Mosaic. As stated, I ordered the chicken kabob platter. For my sides I chose the salad and chickpeas. It also came with 2 sauces, which I presume were a yogurt sauce and a mint chutney. I did not really enjoy either of them. The salad needed more dressing but was fine. The chickpeas were a little hard and didn't have much flavor. They skimped on the rice. The chicken was alright, I didn't really like the seasoning they used but that is personal opinion. I will not be coming here again. Moby Dick's is a much, MUCH better chain Middle Eastern restaurant all around.

Been here a few times ever since it opened and it was pretty good. But after going back a couple times it started to get downhill from there. I ordered lamb chops and I can barely chew it, completely unsatisfying. The final straw for me was when I saw the worker use her bare heads to scoop frozen fries into the frying pan. Yuck! I won't ever be back and I'll tell people I know about this too

Their proteins and fries are perfect, their salad is cold and crisp, and the execution of their rice is consistently the benchmark. First off though: the lighting is really harsh. It's Temu hexagonal 10000K bright white led honeycombs from blaze hell. The walls are primer black, and there are no paper towels in the bathrooms. Solution: I almost always get my food to-go. I flip flop between the Falafel Platter and the Mixed (Chicken + Lamb Gyro) Platter with the following no-charge mod: NO fries, MORE salad. This leaves the rice alone - you will get rice - and it is a very long grain, saffroned, Basmati rice that is distinctively al dente. Not fluffy or clumpy - they are highly separated and firm rice grains, and I absolutely love it this way. This rice blows the competition far and away. If you like fries, they are good - they're the double-fried "Burger King" style and keep their heat decently well in the to-go clamshell. The sauces are quite special. I like them all. I always ask for the following on-the-side (no zig-zags for me): the white (tahini-like), the green (cilantro), the red (spicy), the orange (signature Blazin spice). There are a couple of others, but I find these 4 create a nice balance. Oh and the late-night hours secure the 5-star rating. This can feel like the perfect late-night food - thanks to the owners for accommodating the late-night fans. Quickie review notes: The burger is just okay - the patty should be bigger. The Chopped Cheese is convincing, but not the best value item, IMO. The milkshakes are very tasty!
