He put coolant in it and charge me another eight dollars. They never looked at my tires or called that out. I told him that's ridiculous that they're charging me for coolant when it should've been part of my service and if the manager was here, none of this would be happening. When a staff member finally came out, I asked if I'd get a reduced price for doing so. The very young man did not know, nor did he know how to operate the computer to get my information. He went in the back to speak to the manager about the oil filter. Another staff member came out and took my information and then went to start the oil change. I had requested the full synthetic oil change listed at $79.99. That seemed a bit high but this place is convenient for me. When the oil change was completed, I was told the total came to $95.07. When I asked about bringing my own oil filter and a reduced cost, they went to get the manager. The manager informed me the oil filter they include with the oil change is "free" and therefore I would receive no discount for bringing my own. She seemed a bit bothered that she had to explain this to me. I found this response and attitude unacceptable. I own three cars and now they have lost the maintenance and car wash business for all three. After leaving I looked at the $95.07 receipt and saw a $6.40 charge for "parts." What parts do you use in an oil change besides a filter? One last note - when I stopped across the street at an unrelated business, I related my unhappy experience at Squeaky Clean. The cashier said "Oh yeah, they're terrible." The customer behind me also said, "Yeah, I stopped going there over a year ago." I had what I thought was a minor oil leak but it turned out to be a more complicated problem. Their attention to detail and thoroughness relieved why it was leaking and in additional transmission issues that I had no idea was getting so bad. They took the time let me know what they could do while my car was already disassembled to start preventative measures to avoid that getting much worse. It saved me a lot of money for them to do what they could in that stage which I greatly appreciated.
