They spent over a week diagnosing it, replaced a sensor that wasn't needed and then told me there was probably rodent damage behind the dashboard and that I would need to go to the dealer. They were going to charge me several hours of labor, but after arguing with the manager, he conceded and didn't charge me. I immediately took the car to another garage less than a mile away, and they diagnosed the problem in less than an hour. They ordered the parts needed and gave me a loaner car for the weekend since it was before the 4th of July holiday. I got the car back on July 6th, and the AC works great. Modern Tire was not a good choice to do AC work.

Anxious and bummed I took it in to get it fixed. I was preparing myself for the worst a new or rebuild transmission which 3 other shops quoted me over 6g. if I needed one. They could've said anything, any price they want. The car doesn't move right?? Even getting a rebuilt transmission would be a lot less than a new or used truck. But, they came back to me with such an honest quote that not only they fixed the issue they also fixed 4 other issues and replaced the battery which I knew about btw And also cut a couple of hrs of labor because it didn't take as long as it was quoted. New Subaru transmissions aren't cheap and sadly they can't be rebuilt (thanks for nothing Subaru). That didn't stop them from looking at every option for me. We worked together and found a used unit with low miles. The cost was higher than I was prepared to put into the car (what major repairs aren't higher than expected?). But it was still nearly half the cost of a new unit from Subaru and "Ruby" is running beautifully. I can tell the negative comments left here are by people not used to the high cost of car repairs. They can't handle bad news so they put blame on the shop. Sorry, repairs cost money. If you want to stay on the road you need to put work in from time to time. I'd rather give that money to a shop that works WITH their patrons to come up with a solution that makes (almost) everyone happy in the end. Thanks guys!

FRAUD FRAUD FRAUD Many indicators of fraud and tax evasion…read more(and/or money laundering) at this business. Its "cash only' and they dont want to release your vehicle unless you pay otherwise. This is illegal by state law. They give you an option to zelle payment directly to the owners personal bank account, but not to the business account. They bill for work that they do not complete and they also change their prices on a whim once they have your vehicle. They charged me an excess of $1,100 just to inspect my transmission but never split my transmission open to inspect it. When I picked my vehicle up the transmission was still factory sealed. The owner Sammy bragged about how rich he is and how lucrative his business is due to evading taxes and billing for work that was never performed.
