Knots peeking thru the mattress because it's so torn up. This was all throughout the bed.

Apparently the beds both at the Sheraton Needham and Renaissance hotels both apparently do not have mattress protectors on any of there beds at either location. Management is clearly struggling

    Dirty Headboard

Honestly the worst hotel I have ever stayed out. The rooms cannot hold more than two people. The beds hold only one adult and I am not a larger person. 5ft4 They book making like you can have more than two in a double bed room but when you enter there are only two towels in the room. Headboards that are black with dirt. Lamps that don't work, phones that don't work. Then you get to breakfast and they don't bring out food for $24.95 per person. But they tell you , they will. Second day we gave up and said something and they stopped charging EVERYONE it was so bad. The room service also came with spoiled vegetables. A disgrace for a hotel. The only plus was the pool!

My employer got me a room in this hotel, and it was okay. The rooms did seem to be clean and did not smell bad. The hotel seems to be old, and their elevator makes a lot of noise when you reach floor 5. To get to the pool is hidden; I couldn't find a sign to let you know you go inside the gym and find the way to the pool. The lobby is the only area that looks modern and new. Their food is okay, but I do have to say the burger was really good. My coworkers got the other meals, which we shared, and they were okay. The buffalo wings were okay, and I will try them again. There's only one bartender, and if it gets packed, he gets frustrated and ignores you until he's not rushed.

I don't know why this hotel has just 2 and a half stars, my boyfriend and I were a little worried abut it when we found it on the internet( price was low ) the reality is definitely 5 stars, or at least 4 for some of you, unless you're so annoying. We loved it, the guy who received us was so sweet, he even gave us a card to use next day for breakfast as courtesy, our room was so cool and clean! We felt like in the paradise, the bathroom was amazing! The Colombian girl working during breakfast, everyone was so nice. Breakfast? Whoa, it was really good, they do a buffet, too many options, it tasted so good! Love it love it love it! We were 100% satisfied from the beginning to the end! So, don't trust the 2and a half stars!

    Stained towels

Moldy bedroom and bathroom with stains on the towels, see pictures attached...I had a small cut asked for a first aid kit and they told me they didn't have one... coming from a large franchise that I have used many times. This was a huge shock. They told me call 911 for a small cut and a request for a band aid..this was the staff on 9/10/24....avoid at all costs, horrible service, rude staff and mold in the rooms

The worst hotel we ever had!!for almost 2 night we did not have hot water. Been complaining to the front desk 3x and the last the guy who keeps coming up our room said that since they are renovating the hot water is not coming into our side of our wing unless they keep it on for the whole time. Next is their AC in the room, we complained that it was not blowing cold air and the front desk told us they cannot turn the AC yet because it's not season to turn it on yet. If they do turn it on they have to turn on the whole hotel's AC and she said it was not season yet. We came in March and we liked cozy cold rooms when we stay in hotels. Lastly they don't serve breakfast unless you pay for it and good thing thing someone was sitting and dining when we are getting coffee and they were disappointed in their food. Try to look for somewhere else to stay.

So I wrestled with giving this hotel a 3 or a 4 star, and I feel the customer service we received brings it up to a 4. The hotel is a fine hotel...actually, better than fine, it's good. I see some negative reviews on here so as usual, it's all about the luxuries you expect and the different experience you went through. Me and my girlfriend had pretty much no qualms. I'm an easy guy to appease. Just serve me a place to sleep and good customer service and I am a happy customer, and this hotel did just that. My gf complained the beds/pillows were too firm, and I see others do as well, but that didn't bother me. I thought the room was nice, ours was clean. One qualm I have is there was a small centipede in our bathroom the first night. That was a little bit bothersome, but I didn't freak out over it too much. Now if I had run into more bugs during our 5 day stay I would have been angry, but it was only that one and while not ideal, I know sometimes no matter how hard you try bugs can find their ways into places. Another qualm I have is the air condition. This is probably just a personal problem of mine but I like my A/C to stay constantly running. This A/C cuts off after it reaches the desired temperature and I understand most A/Cs do that, but I would prefer if there was a fan you can keep on (rather a ceiling fan or a fan in the AC) to atleast keep some air flowing on you while you sleep. I would wake up in the middle of the night every night once the AC cut off cuz my body is the type that knows instantly when the air flow is no longer flowing. Again, this is likely just a personal qualm of mine. When the air condition did run though, it ran strong and powerful. I just wasn't a big fan of it turning on/off throughout the night once it reached its desired temperature. So those were probably my only "negatives". Everything else was good to me. The fridge in the room is helpful. There's a microwave in the ice machine room so you have to go out your room to heat any food you may have but this didn't bother me. The TV is great and offers many channels and streaming apps. The wifi for us was great. We didn't have to ask for it and were not charged for it. They allowed us up to 3 devices with wifi and it worked well on two of our phones and my laptop. Room service was everyday and was exquisite. The toilet flushes really, really loud and powerful haha, but it didn't bother us. The room walls are a tad bit thin where sometimes you can hear people in the adjourning room or in the hallways, but it's not too bad. Usually only if you're in complete silence is when you can hear the outside. Our shuttle service was A+. We usually left our room after 12 and every time we requested a shuttle, they appeased us. The shuttle only goes 3 miles but one of the locations they drop you off to is the T station, which is very useful and will save you a lot of money. So I imagine most people book this hotel to save money from the pricey hotels in Boston. Well I certainly recommend this one and take advantage of the shuttle (I believe it runs until 8pm; I'm not sure if it runs on Sat and Sun though) to the T train and you'll be able to get to Boston in 30-45 mins (depending how far in Boston you're trying to go). I hope the manager sees this review, if so, please know that Al and Roberto were just the absolute best. Good drivers, offered great tips, very friendly and knowledgable. It was a pleasure to have them drive us every day to the station. A few food places around the area, not a lot but if you have a car you'll have access to some. There's some places you can walk to to eat as well like a Panera Bread. We came to Boston for a Red Sox game and this hotel was a good choice for us. The T station takes you to all the places in Boston you want to visit, including Fenway Park, so all of our needs were met and we saved a lot of money by not having to get a hotel directly in Boston. We also went to the Patriots game in Foxborough. The T train doesn't go directly to Foxborough, so if you plan on going to Gillette Stadium, a Lyft/Uber may be your best bet which is about $30 to and from (note: the prices may surge the closer it gets to and after game time). There are commuter rail options to get to Foxborough but those trips will last about 2 to 3 hours and cost $20 roundtrip. If you want to save a buck and are patient, go for it. But we just went the ride share route because we already saved a lot of money using the T train to get to Boston everyday.

Now that I've had more travel experience, I can confidently say this hotel is a hidden gem in Waltham. The apartment-style rooms are fantastic--spacious, clean, and equipped with full kitchens, comfy seating areas, and all the essentials. It's more like staying in a cozy apartment than a standard hotel, which makes solo trips, family visits, or longer stays feel effortless. The service is genuinely warm and welcoming, and the breakfast is a standout--custom-made eggs cooked to order and expertly crafted coffee that beats any run-of-the-mill hotel fare. The location is great too--close enough to Brandeis University for visiting students, but also easy to explore Waltham's Moody Street for restaurants, cafés, and a little local charm. The area felt safe and walkable, and for outdoor enthusiasts, you can hop on nearby trails along the Charles River or Mass Central Rail Trail for some scenic exercise. Bottom line: Whether you're visiting Waltham for school, family, or just a weekend getaway, Crescent Suites hits all the marks. But i am sure that this was a truly beautiful facility! The brutalist mid-century architecture was stunning, and I found a few buildings with a similar style across the beautiful campus. Half of the rooms had lake views, and all rooms had views of the beautiful fall foliage. The Club was right on the path through campus and around the lake, which took about an hour to walk [briskly] around. The rooms themselves retained their original mid-century charm, including a brick interior wall, a built-in wood shelving/closet feature, period accurate furniture (I'm a bit of a mid century design snob), and some original 50s/60s style bathroom tile. The room had plenty of space and a comfortable king sized bed, although many of the people I was with mentioned having small, twin sized beds in their rooms. The meeting facilities were also beautiful, with incredible views from the floor-to-ceiling windows. There were multiple room options of varying sizes, in addition to numerous service packages, from beer/wine, to buffet, to snacks and drinks. We had several meals in the Club, all of which were excellent. The New England fare included clams, mussels, and clam chowder, which I particularly enjoyed. Even the lunch sandwich buffets were excellent. I found breakfast to be a bit lacking, but I'm not a big hot breakfast person anyways, so just a bagel was sufficient for me. Staff in the Club were beyond friendly and professional. I truly felt like I was staying in a 5* resort due to the staff's hospitality. I can't say anything about value for the cost because I'm not sure how much the space costs to rent or stay overnight, but rest assured you will get a beautiful space with top-notch service when using the facilities at this Club.

My wife and I traveled all the way from California for our honeymoon and our first World Cup…read moreexperience, and unfortunately our stay at the Hilton Dedham has become one of the most disappointing hotel experiences I have ever had. When I made my reservation, I specifically booked and paid for a King Bed room because this was our honeymoon. Earlier on the day of arrival, I contacted the hotel through the Hilton app and also called to confirm that we needed the King Bed that we had reserved. Despite those confirmations, when we arrived late at night, just before 11 PM after a long day of travel, we were informed that there were no King Bed rooms available. The explanation given was that the hotel had an unexpected number of guests because of the World Cup. Frankly, I found this difficult to understand. The World Cup is one of the largest sporting events in the world, and Hilton Dedham is one of the closest Hilton properties serving fans attending these events. How was there no planning for such a major event? More importantly, why was the room type that I specifically reserved and confirmed not held for us? Instead of the King Bed room we paid for, we were offered a room with two separate beds on our honeymoon. We explained the situation and how important this was to us, but the front desk staff told us there was no manager available and that our options were either to accept the room, cancel the reservation, or find another hotel. After traveling across the country and arriving late at night, being told to "go somewhere else" was shocking and completely inconsistent with the level of service I expect from Hilton. After waiting approximately 30 minutes, we finally accepted the room because we were exhausted. Unfortunately, the problems did not stop there. Once we entered the room and started unpacking, we discovered that the air conditioning was not working properly. After nearly ten hours of travel and dealing with jet lag, the last thing we wanted was another issue. We had to gather our belongings again, return to the front desk, and explain the problem. The staff eventually found another room, but it was on the opposite side of the hotel, requiring us to move all of our luggage once again. By this point, we were physically exhausted, frustrated, and deeply disappointed. What was supposed to be the first night of our honeymoon had turned into a stressful series of problems. The second room had working air conditioning, but the unit was so loud that neither of us could sleep. Every time it ran, it produced excessive noise, making it nearly impossible to rest. We ended up awake until around 3:00 AM. To make matters worse, we also discovered that the sink in the room was cracked, raising even more concerns about the overall condition and maintenance of the property. What makes this even more frustrating is that this happened just last night, and we still have two more nights remaining in our stay. As of the time of writing this review, nobody from hotel management has reached out to us, offered an upgrade, attempted to move us into the King Bed room that we originally reserved, or provided any meaningful resolution. The issue is still ongoing. The most disappointing part of this experience is that none of these issues should have happened. The room type we reserved was not honored despite confirmation. We were initially assigned a room with a malfunctioning air conditioner. We had to move rooms in the middle of the night. The replacement room had a noisy HVAC system and a damaged sink. And throughout all of this, no meaningful solution, accommodation, or compensation has been offered. This trip was supposed to be a special honeymoon memory for my wife and me. Instead, our first night was filled with frustration, exhaustion, and disappointment. We chose Hilton because of its reputation and paid a premium rate expecting quality accommodations and reliable service. Unfortunately, this stay has fallen far below those expectations. I hope Hilton management reviews this experience seriously and contacts us as soon as possible while we are still guests at the property. At a minimum, I believe some form of compensation or reimbursement is warranted given the number of service failures we have experienced. Most importantly, I hope future guests do not have to go through what we did on what should have been one of the happiest occasions of our lives. Management may contact me directly for additional details regarding this stay: Email: mohammadalbdrany@gmail.com

The biggest discontent came learning upon check-in that there is a parking charge. I don't recall seeing that on the website or in the correspondence sent to me, but I am not saying it wasn't there, somewhere, at some type size. I didn't think a hotel this distance from central Boston would charge for parking. That added $20 plus tax each night to the bill. There are no microwaves in the rooms. That is something that chains of lower status that Marriott make standard (IHG, BW). There was a microwave for public use--that's right--*1* for a hotel this size (BIG). At least there was only 1 I was aware of, there may have been 1 or more others somewhere else, but they were scarce if there were any beyond that 1. I will say I didn't need to wait any time I used it; I just had to go up and down the elevator 3 flights. I used it 3 times I tried to use the computers in the business office and neither of the 2 they had worked. Someone told me they had been that way for at least 3 hours, since he had first tried to use them. I told various staff about it but the best I got for a response was that was something that "happened sometimes". Someone there might want to check to see if the problems have yet been resolved. This hotel is more economical than staying at a similar hotel downtown, and there is a nearby commuter train station (non-accessible). Getting hotels near these stations can be good money savers for big city visits, but there tend to not be many too close to the stations. The location on the Charles River is superlative, and a lot of the hotel property can be strolled along the shore.
